Pros: Feels good, looks good, hits good, has pop.
Cons: Our new 2014 XL1 is starting to crack. The yellow coating is cracking after 1 game and two practices...I like the 2012 XL1 better, did not have any funky coating... The 2012 XL1 had no dents or cracks, just lost it's "POP" and Easton placed it under the warranty with the 2014 XL1 bat, so we have been using it for two weeks now.
Pros: Simply awesome! A huge composite sweet spot with a long barrel. The XL1 hits rockets, and doesn't even feel heavy. I love my bat!

Pros: the bat has amazing pop
Cons: nothing much
Pros: I am 12 yr old, play travel allstar. I had not hit a home run yet so my Dad got me the Skils Hurricane 4 swing trainer. After 2 weeks of 100-200 cuts per day, I hit my 1st home run. Then I got the Easton XL1. My very 1st day using the XL1 was awesome, hit a grand slam. The bat has tons of pop compared to my old bat the Combat B4.
Cons: Only con is it lasts about 2 years
Pros: The ball flies without any effort and it feels like you are hitting nothing. Totally worth every penny.
Cons: None, I expect my teammates also want to use it.
Pros: I can get this bat around fast
Cons: When you swing the barrel moves faster than my hands
Pros: This bat is simply amazing. Great pop, no vibration, nice grip, and very durabil. If you like power and lots of pop this is your bat
Cons: Really nothing! Just buy it
Pros: just got this bat about 2 months ago was kinda skeptical about a compisite bat since i had never used one but now that i have i am glad that i bought this bat because it has a ton of pop compared to a aluminum bat been hitting bombs with it
Cons: bat really scuffs easy other then that this bat is awesome
Pros: Awesome bat for my son!!! Purchased this bat in a 29" for him when facing 12-13 year olds (he is 10). He is a strong kid, and uses a 32" Mako normally but this bat is what he needed to keep up with the older kids.
Cons: None
Pros: Its a great feel and has a massive sweet spot. It is the bat most players would use if they are power hitters because of the pop.
Cons: None.
Pros: The bat has an amazing feel and a lot of pop. This is for the big hitters and hits rockets
Cons: None.
Pros: Best bat went 1-3with a home run
Cons: None
Pros: Great Pop! My son hit 4 home runs over the past 3 weeks with the new Bat! 5 Stars all around.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it
Pros: it has ok pop at first i jacked it on a 300 foot fence and im 10 but in gsmes snd after that you have to hit it square ro have good pop if not it goes 50 feet
Cons: does not haveuch pop its very overrated
Pros: great everything get this bat now
Cons: little vibration in hands
Pros: The bat is awesome all-around. Amazing pop after about 10 hits. I haven't hit with it in a game yet but in practice i hit almost 10 homer's with this bat. It's amazing and I highly recommend it.
Cons: NONE.
Pros: This bat is amazing. You could hit a home run without even trying. If your still searching for your 1st home run this your one-way ticket to it.
Cons: none
Pros: This is a great bat! It has great pop, it has amazing durability, and it looks sick!
Cons: None!
Pros: this bat is amazing it has a nice long barrel and tons of pop! I love this bat!
Cons: i am a travel baseball player
Pros: Great Pop
Cons: The finish is chipping off after just 2 months use. Easton is sending me a new one under warranty
Pros: The bat has so much pop! I have played 5 games with it and hit 8 homers!
Cons: nothing much only my teamates want to use it LOL
Pros: What i really like about the bat is that it has a really good grip an that it has a bigger sweet spot than my others. It is also long and looks really cool.
Cons: I dont really have anything to say bad about this bat but that it is basically all yellow.
Pros: good pop easy to handle
Cons: lots of vibration if jammed or off of end of the bat
Pros: this bat has a lot of pop! the xl1 is slightly heavier than the mako. i hit 5 home runs already in the season! you should really buy this bat
Cons: why is there room for cons for the xl1
Pros: This bat has a HUGE sweetspot. The bat allows the player to hit a ball off of the hands to the fence. Worth the money.
Cons: When the ball is hit at the end of the bat, it stings alot.
Pros: This bat is all it's cracked up to be and then some! My son used the bat in his season opener and hit the ball out of the park with little effort. All last season he hit the top of the fence or dropped at the bottom.....struggling to get the ball out. First time in action with this bat....it went straight out. I asked if he felt sting or vibration and he said "not at all!" Looks great, sounds amazing, easy to handle, A+ performance.
Cons: Not sure about durability just yet. I have seen a nick already with little use. Only used once in game and some practice off the catapult at home. Bed stays in his room under his bed. price tag - high tag, but well worth the money in it's performance.
Pros: the best bat in the world incredible pop
Cons: nothing
Pros: I went from an easton S1 to XL1 and I have never felt a better feel and pop out of the 5 easton's I have been threw. The easton XL1 is a bat that if you make contact it is going to go far. It is also a bat that you half to be a little more on the strong side if its going to go far the mako is lighter and is easier to swing. Over all the XL1 has pop and goes further.
Cons: If only it was a different color
Pros: everything best bat I have ever swung I am 12 and swinging this bat 100 at bats hitting 6.50 avg.
Cons: A little vibration but that's it.
Pros: My new team my first at bat with this bat I hit a 320 foot shot!!!! and im only 11
Cons: none at all
Pros: its a great bat an hes great pop an if your wanting to hits the ball better than you really should get this bat its amazing its like heaven in a bat but its pretty much the best bat out there maybe except the mako but there good also
Cons: there aint nothing bad about it to me
Pros: I love it ball flyers off bat like rocket buy itttttttt love the composite feel
Cons: Too pretty to get it dirty
Pros: The bat hits the ball so far off of good contact. Hit two out in one practice with this bat. Best bat ever
Cons: New coating made it a little less durable
Pros: Probably the best youth bat ever made. You don't even have to try and the ball goes flying. No vibration whatsoever
Cons: The new paint job makes it less durable
Pros: Very balanced for the weight! More hits with this bat than the S1 Easton for my son. He loves the low vibration and easy swing power of this bat.
Cons: We worry about the composite material getting damaged in the cold.
Pros: good bat
Cons:
Pros: good bat
Cons:
Pros: Ball flys off this thing. My son is on his 3rd one has he grows....doesnt want to touch any other bat. Amazing
Cons: Had one that cracked and got it replaced. Other than that, great bat.
Pros: I hit with my friends and i loved it i got myself one! u should get it
Cons: nothing best bat ever
Pros: Hits the ball really far
Cons: My end cap popped off after 6 months
Pros: killing without trying i love it better than the mako not even close
Cons: none
Pros: My 8 yr old has the xl1 in a 29/19 and a mako in a 29/18. Not a big kid. 4'4" and 69 pounds. He consistently hits the ball further with the xl1. Has hit several 180ft. If your son has the bat speed to swing the xl1 it is superior to the mako. Has a great sound when hit solidly.
Cons: End load may not be great for some.
Pros: killing it
Cons: none
Pros: COOL
Cons: COOL
Pros: I had the 2012 xl1 and it was the best bat I've ever swung. It was flat out amazing. But this year i purchased the 32 22 and i absolutely love it. Incredible amount of pop, it feels great when swinging. And for a end loaded bat, its very balanced. I definitely would suggest this bat to anyone who can get a larger bat around.
Cons: None.
Pros: awesome
Cons: none
Pros: its so amazing i cant exsplain it
Cons: nothing
Pros: I have so much to say. But to make it short it is the best bat ever It has the nicest sound and the ball flyes of the bat. I've hit 7 line drive home runs with this thing. I recommend it for the strong hitter who hits bombs like me. I'm 13 but in little league. 318 ft is farthest hit with bat
Cons: I've lost so many baseballs I can't count anymore. Get this bat now!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Everything
Cons: none
Pros: I think that the pop that you can get when you get ahold of one is phenomenal. Also, the gripping is feels like a cushion (of sorts) on your hands. Finally, even when you hit the ball off the tip or in a funny spot on the bat, your hands will not sting.
Cons: N/A
Pros: While having the XL1 for only two days, I hit a bomb out of a field I have been trying to with my fully broken - in mako. Great feel, pop, and durability. I recommend this bat to everyone.
Cons: none yet
Pros: Light but hits the ball far. Lots and lots of pop.
Cons: None
Pros: Amazing bat, pop after first bp. At first i was a contact hitter but now I'm hitting bombs over the fence almost ever time. Really increased my power. I'm 13 hitting it over on 250 fields with this.
Cons: Chips at the end of the bat. Slightly heavy at first had to get used to it. Only for strong hitters.
Pros: im not much of a power hitter but I play for a travel team and when i hit with this bat it goes far. It has a huge sweet spot. And when u make contact it is hard hit
Cons: It stings when you get jammed
Pros: This bat pops. Both kids (9 and 11) had used the S-1 and S-2's for the past year and couldn't get it over the fence. Put an XL1 30/-10 in their hands and they started flying!
Cons: Easton needs to address the durability of this bat ASAP! We have gone thru 2 in 18 games.....not good! Bat has spider cracks at the meat of the barrel in each instance. Kudos to their customer service though....replaced without question. The only problem is it takes 10 days!
Pros: Has a ton of pop. No vibration . The durability is awesome
Cons: No cons it's a great batryan
Pros: The XL1 is better than the mako you may think to get the Mako first because its lighter and "has more pop" but the XL1 is just different. The XL1 maybe heavier but to me it feels fitting in my hands and easier to handle. Overall the XL1 is better than the mako and has way more pop.
Cons: The paint can chip off
Pros: This is a very good bat with pop. I have started to rope the ball with this. A little on the heavy side, but I used to be a contact hitter. Not anymore. The grip is nice and the giant sweet spot makes it easy to make solid contact.
Cons: Paint does chip, but replacement is easy. Also, only for the stronger hitters. It is very heavy.
Pros: I hit my first home run with it and made all-stars
Cons: everyone wants to use it
Pros: Bought this bat for my son in 9-10 all-stars.... First at bat he hit a rocket, up and out in a hurry, center fielder didn't even turn around....
Cons: None so far
Pros: It may not have as much pop as the 2012 easton xl1, but this thing is still juiced. Much more pop than the mako, also more durable
Cons: if you aren't a strong kid, you'll pop up a lot
Pros: this bat is absolutely great right. It has amazing pop and a great feel.It has a huge sweet spot
Cons: the paint chips really easy
Pros: Tons of pop and can't feel any vibration.
Cons: None.
Pros: The bat has great pop and no vibration but it breaks to easily
Cons: Cons:
Pros: best bat you can buy
Cons: cap falls off
Pros: I had 2 home runs with it and I am only 10.
Cons: My teammates and they use it
Pros: Has a ton of pop... Some people say the Mako and XL1 aren't even comparable because the Mako is that much better but I think the XL1 is every bit as good as the Mako!!
Cons: Lots of people want to use it after they see how good it is.
Pros: this bat has a lot of pop don't use 300$ on a mako this bat has way more pop durability can not feel any sting what so ever this bat feels great in my hands i use 29 19 and i cant get over how great it feels i used to be afraid to swing cuz my hands would hurt not any more i have been cranking the ball so far also the bat has the biggest sweet spot i took my 30 20 mako and my 29 19 xl1 it still has way more barrel do not worry if they say the paint chips off easy thats only if your hitting stuff your not supposed to like rocks and other bats try to hit 100 baseballs before try to hit in a game just to break it in you hit bombs with this bat i hit a line drive over right fielders head he just looked down lol :)))))))))))))))))))))))) WARNING DO NOT USE IN THE COLD easier. to get dented in the cold when u hit with it but there aren't going to be a ton of freezing cold games
Cons: not not not not not not ANY! buy now buy now easton makes these great bats u got to buy it i hoped this reviewe helped you get. 100 per cent sure u want this bat not the mako :) ps the bat is great for bunting
Pros: HUGE sweet spot with tons of pop sounds cool when you crush the ball very minimum vibration light weight for such a long barrel great for the kid who packs a punch awesome grip
Cons: everybody wants to use it and think its corked (its not) yellow grip gets gets dirty real quick if you use batting gloves
Pros: great feel way more pop then the mako the barrel is so big all ready hit 2/3 out
Cons: paint can chip off
Pros: i cant stop with this bat this is the best bat out there this bat has such a big sweet spot feels so good has the most pop ever 100 percent better then the mako is pretty light
Cons: why cons for xl1
Pros: Breaks in quick,I hit 6 homers in two practices 230ft plus each time some not even on solid contact, I got put to clean up right after that week and hit a 2 run dinger.
Cons: Paint, and grip. I suggest using lizard skin bat grip 1.1 thickness.
Pros: mako vs xl1 xl1 100 per cent better
Cons: nothing
Pros: Absolutely love the bat! Great pop and the ball flies off the bat with force!
Cons: My son has cracked 8 of these bats! I have purchased 4 and received 4 warranty replacements. I have a very expensive problem with the durabilty.
Pros: massive sweet spot lots of pop and hit lots of doubles with it
Cons: NONE AT ALL
Pros: lots of pop good bat to get for little league or travel ball
Cons: nothing bad about this bat
Pros: good bat all around
Cons: nothing
Pros: Had all the right hype in reviews. The price was good at Just Bats.
Cons: Couldn't wait to try this bat out for my 11 year old son who is a power hitter usually able to hit home runs at will in practice. He blew out his other Easton Omen bat, which was a super bat, and this was the replacement. I threw him about 55 hard balls, and not one went over the fence. In fact, he usually gets about five home runs per bucket in practice, and with his new XL1 never even hit the fence. The sound of the hits were dull, and the impact was not impressive. The balls had no velosity at all. Very disappojnted in this bat. Will sell on Craigs List and get the Mako or Voodoo.
Pros: Good pop and good grip. Nice bat.
Cons: The paint coating chipped after the first day of use, cheap material. Non of the other bats do. I hope to get a new one.
Pros: Right out of the plastic the ball flies off this bat, hard grounders, line drives, home runs, doesn't matter. My son hit a shot down 3rd in All Stars and the 3rd baseman just moved out of the way and wanted nothing to do with it. Even when he miss hits, witch he does, the ball is still coming off the bat harder than any other bat he's has used (MAKO/CF6/COMBAT B4) The don't compare. Had the 2011 and the end cap came off after 2 seasons of LL and travel ball. Easton replaced with a 2014 3 months past warranty expiration. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Cons: None
Pros: The xl1 is a great bat, so easy to swing. Great pop that lasts a long time, worthy of the price.
Cons: Cracks easily and stings a little bit in colder weather.
Pros: i suggest that everybody reading this to purchase this bat now!!!!!! it has a great feel and massive pop. i recently hit my first home run with this bat at the cooperstown dreams park.
Cons: the bat belonged to another teamate
Pros: every thing is great about the xl1 to pop to contact . this is the best bat I've ever had my hole team loves it there always wanting to use it
Cons: none at all best bat ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Large sweet spot. If your player can swing it, it will not disappoint. Son hit is second homerun in our district tourney(age 7). Then later hit one foul 250ft. WAY out of the park. But like I said, it is a handful to swing.
Cons: Price. But isn't too bad compared to the market.
Pros: It has a great pop and my son thinks it has a AWESOME feel!
Cons: Everyone wants to use it and i lose lots of baseballs.
Pros: Great looking , semi durable.
Cons: Extreme end loaded, not seeing the pop from the bat even though we have gone through the breaking in process as prescribed. Getting stinging vibration on end hit balls. I am comparing this bat to a 31/21 Combat Pure Gear that we used for spring baseball. Hands down the Combat is better.... so far. I am really hoping that this bat will break in soon.
Pros: Amazing bat !!! realy good pop and hit I hit my first home run with it !!!!!
Cons: My teammates always want to use it .
Pros: My son loves this bat. Lots of pop and no vibration. Big sweet spot. This bat has boosted his confidence and we would definitely recommend it. The bat is a little heavier then he's used to he went from a 29-17 to the 30-20 XL1 but he's getting it around and the results are noticeable. We are very happy with the purchase and Just Bats price matched and we got a great deal.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: This bat is an amazing bat, it has such a smooth swing and you can crush the ball with it. I have tried it 3 times and hit a home run and a double! It is the best power bat out there everyone on my team wants to use it.
Cons: None
Pros: This bat is great for power hitters, it is made so it is difficult to miss the sweet spot. the ball flies off this bat like no other little league bat, except possibly the mako. No dents or cracks yet.
Cons: The extra long barrel makes it have an odd feel.
Pros: good bat
Cons: Easton is the best
Pros: i hit homers with this in practice and in games i hit alot of line drives with the xl1 bat has good pop
Cons: the only is bad is the grip
Pros: This bat has good pop i hit alot of homers with it in practice and i alot of line drives with this bat in my games
Cons: this bat for power hitters
Pros: This bat is not just your dream bat. It is everyone's! I have been trying to hit a home run over the super far fence for 2 1/2 years! I used to swing a mako and it worked out pretty well. Though the only problem was that I could only hit doubles and singles. Halfway through the year I bought this bat and the next game I hit 2 triples a HOME RUN it was a miracle. By the end of my season I had the highest batting average on my team (687) and the most homers. Awesome!!
Cons: NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE!
Pros: best get it
Cons: bruised up a little
