Pros: Straight out of the wrapper I hit a bomb about 340ft. Stupid pop and amazing feeling on contact. Definitely going to pick up another one.

Amazing Bat rodoxplo player

Pros: Very good bat. After 50 hits the bat got hotter. I had only bats under 100$ and this makes the difference. This is one of the best bat I own. The feeling and the sound are amazing. The break-in process is very quick. Huge sweet pot and awesome pop. Definitly choose this bat was a good choice.

Pros: This bat has good pop out of the wrapper and just gets better. It's cheaper than some of the bats, but this bat is for real. Other. Players on my team are. Buying their own bc you are getting a great bat for a lower price. This bat is underpriced I would definitely recommend this bat bc it's just as good as the high priced ones. Miken made a power bat that lasts.

Cons: None. Probably 4 or 5 guys use this bat in my league games and it prob has a good 400 swings. It's broken in and just hitting with great power. I see no stress marks yet. This bat is so underrated it should be in your bag. Don't pass on this deal you will happy you didn't!!!

Is there a break-in process for the 2014 Miken REV-EX? Aaron

The 2014 Miken REV-EX Balanced USSSA: SREVBU Slow Pitch, due to its fully composite design, will require a break-in period of 150-200 swings, working up from about 40% power to full power at the 150 swing. Use real leather softballs, and rotate the barrel a quarter inch every swing.

I bought this bat and I'm getting ready to start breaking it in with a few days at the cage. What ball would be best to break in the bat for batting practice? Jay

A higher compression softball might speed up the break-in process, but we would only recommend hitting the Classic M (.40 COR, 325 Compression) or Classic M Plus (.52 COR, 275 Compression) softballs with this 2014 Miken REV-EX Balanced USSSA: (SREVBU) Slow Pitch bat to ensure you get the most use out of it. Some NSA leagues may still use a .44 COR, 400 Compression softball, but this bat is designed to hit softballs that feature lower compression ratings. Hitting higher compression softballs could shorten the useful life of your bat or lead to durability issues.

Are the balanced REV-EX and the Izzy Psycho the same bat; minus the end load? knucklehead

The 2014 Miken REV-EX Balanced USSSA: (SREVBU) Slow Pitch is made from the same 750X composite, features a 14.5" barrel length, and is certified with the same USSSA BPF 1.20 rating as the Izzy Psycho (SPSYMU).The only real difference between the two bats is that the Izzy Psycho offers the full ounce end load that is typically better for a power hitter.
