Description
If we said that this bat was as hot as it looked, we'd be doing it a disservice. It's much, much hotter than that this season. Ready to bust loose, this year's CF7 is the hottest composite fastpitch bat out of the wrapper that DeMarini has ever produced. In fact, the CF7 barrel was totally redesigned from last season's CF6 for an even hotter out of the wrapper performance. And that's not all! The newly designed barrel sustains maximum POP throughout the lifetime of the bat. On top of that, the CF7's Paradox Composite makes the barrel stronger, while being scientifically shaped to feel softer on impact. This makes for a bigger, hotter, and more responsive sweet spot and consistently more powerful swings! Also new to the CF7 is DeMarini's famous D-Fusion Technology. The D-Fusion handle eliminates vibrations and redirects energy back into the barrel creating not only an incredible feel, but more POP! The D-Fusion handle also opens up a better sound on all hits across the barrel. The CF7 even features Stacked Double Wall Construction that creates a trampoline effect across the entirety of the barrel for completely optimized performance. At the end of the barrel, the end cap provides optimal barrel compression and maximizes the sweet spot. If you're at the top of your game and demand the absolute best, it's the CF7 or nothing! DeMarini: Born Hardcore! The CF7 is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

hot 34 dad parent
Pros: Daughter loves new bat. Great balance and hot out of wrapper. She prefers the new CF7 over her CF6 and Xenon.
Cons: None
Even better than the CF6! #15 player
Pros: The DeMarini CF7 (-10) is fanatstic. When first looking at it the graphics were the first factor that caught my eye. I've been using DeMarini for a long time now and had enjoyed the CF6. The CF7, came hot right out of the wrapper and I was hitting dingers on the first few swings. This bat feels very durable and not like its made out of glass. The swing is wicked even and smooth so it works well. As a Varsity, Junior Olympic and college softball player as of next year, I highly suggest this bat to give you that competive edge.
Cons: The only con is the handle. The previous handle on the CF6 had a better grop on it. The one now, feels almost sitck and not as freat of a grip. But overall it is a great bat.
DIAMOND 05 WILLIAMS parent
Pros: GREAT FILL, GREAT POP ,GREAT LOOK ,GREAT BAT FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD 5 FT 5 IN 127LBS POWER HITTER SHE LOVES THIS BAT THIS IS OUR 4 DEMARINI CF SERIES BAT BEST BY FAR
Cons: N/A
Good bat Jferraro coach
Pros: Bought the -11 for my 12 yr old. She had her first tourney this week end, great bat. A couple Homeruns, serveral triples and countless doubles. Good Pop out of the wrapper. Great pop after 300 or so balls hit with it.
Cons: Sweet spot seems a little smaller than the CF5 we have. Seems the 5 had a little more pop closer to the handle than the 7, maybe it needs to be broken in a little better closer to the handle. We have only had it 3 days so we will see.
Great Bat Softball Dad coach
Pros: My 14 yo 5'3" 100 lbs. daughter was swinging an Easton 31"/-12 composite and just got a 33"/-10 CF7. It is incredibly well-balanced, such that it feels lighter than the Easton. The ball jumps off her bat and she is much more confident and aggressive at the plate. She is banging balls all over the yard and hitting doubles and triples instead of singles and doubles.
Cons: None.
Daughter loves this bat! Mike parent
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper. She was 8u. Had 17 homeruns this year, 12 with this bat. No sting at all she says when hitting. These balls come off so hot it took the glove right off the short stop when she tried to catch it. Great bat!
Cons: None.
nice bat Madi player
Pros: More pop than the cf5 and no sting when hit at end of bat.
Cons: none
Cf7 Softballer player
Pros: Got this bat the other day and I am participating in the U14 Canadian national fastpitch tournament this weekend. I have found the bat has medium out of wrapper pop just like most bats and is well balanced. The bat has very nice graphics and comes very shiny out of the wrapper.
Cons: Few minor paint chips already.
anonymous
Pros: Had a great pop right out of the wrapper and I loved it.
Cons: I was influenced by the many great reviews to but this bat but i am starting to regret it. I've had it for about a month and a half and loved it in the beginning but after like 2 weeks of use it feels as if it lost its pop and felt weird at contact. Also, I recently had the cf5 which has a very great sweet spot, but the cf7 doesn't seem to have that much of one.
Great bat! Ella player
Pros: Nice feel, good pop, cute colors
Cons: Got torn up easily.
Disapponted Softball Grand dad other
Pros: Nicely balanced bat with good performance My Grand daughter is 10yr old and plays travel ball in 10u has had DeMarini bats from playing Rec Ball
Cons: My grand Daughter has broken 4 Demarini bats the first one was a CF5 she broke in 2 seasons and then we replaced that with a CF 6 which broke in 1 season and then replaced that last season with a CF7 that bat broke in 10 days and Demarini replaced it with a new bat and now in to this season and after 7 game the new bat is now cracked De Marini stated will only replace the bat one time we will not be buying another De Marini bat
AWESOME Jazzys Mom coach
Pros: My daughter hit her 1st out of the park home run with this bat last night. She has just turned 11 we just purchased the bat had it only for 2 days. It went out of our field into the next through the air about a good 15 feet off the ground all the way right between SS & 2nd. She uses 2015 cf7 34in 24oz -10. 1 proud mom & coach. Just talked a friend into buying this bat for her child & several other parents asked what she was using after the game.
Cons: Graphics not so fancy but bat still great!

My daughter is going to be 12. She is 5'3 and weighs 140. She currently uses 2012 vendetta 31 drop 12. Her coach recommends a 32 drop 10. What would be better for her the CF7 or the Easton Mako? She hits well with the vendetta and it has been a good beginner bat. She has hit several over the fence but moving up to twelve u field needs more pop. Rebecca
my daughter is 5,9 170 GOING INTO HER FRESHMAN YEAR WHAT SIZE BAT DO YOU RECOMMEND kort
My daughter is almost 5' (half an inch away) and weighs 89 lbs. She currently swings a Demarini CF7 -10, 31/21. Last practice, her coach said that she should move on to a longer and heavier bat. He suggested either a 32/23 or a 33/23. He said he prefers the Xeno to any other bat, but if I prefer DeMarini they are good also. My daughter is pretty strong for her small size (she's the smallest on the team) and I do believe she can handle a 32/22. Going up another ounce more than that seems a bit much for her size. She is 12 and plays 14U ball moving up to high school age next year. Which bat has more pop. Do you think my daughter would be able to handle a bat of that weight? I think it's worth it to add that my daughter hits up 2nd, so is not a power hitter. She gets on base after and it is rare for her to strike out. Thank you so much! Natalie
I'm 15 , 5'2 and 99 pounds. What bat size do you recommend I get ? ally1
What is the difference between this CF7 and the 2015 XENO? juju
What's the difference between the DeMarini CF7 and the Easton Mako? I play at a very high level and I am a power hitter but I also focus a lot on slapping and drag bunts so barrel length and balance is important to me. I have not owned an Easton or a Demarini but my coach is insisting they are the best right now, so I don't have a favorite yet. bollig
How long would it take to get this bat shipped to Anaheim, CA? ally1
Is this bat legal for high school softball? jim

My daughter currently swings a vendetta 33in bat. We are thinking about buying the cf7 to upgrade. Do you think this is a good choice for her? Do you think she could handle the 33 in cf7 or should move down to 32? she is 5ft 3 approx 90 lbs. thanks! sunny

What bat size would you recommend for a 10U player who is 4'9" and 80 lbs. She is not a power hitter, and is currently using a 28" 17 oz. model. Jen
Looking to buy my daughter a CF7. She just turned 12 and is fairly small - 59" and a little under 80 lbs. She's not a power hitter so I want something she can swing fast. What would you recommend? She used a 27" 17 oz. last year but I'd like to move her up a little. Scott K
Does the CF8 hope swing lighter than the -10 balance? KRaw
My daughter is 12 and about 5 foot 1, and 130 pounds. She has been batting with a 31 inch 20 ounce for about a year now (she was previously using a 30 inch 19 ounce). She bats very well with this, but since she has grown about 4 inches this past year, we are looking to move up. She practiced today some with a 32 inch 22 ounce. She made contact fairly well, she just said it was too heavy. Would the DeMarini CF7 32 inch 21 ounce be a good choice for her size or considering she had trouble with the 32 inch 22 ounce, would it be too heavy as well? C
Is it ok to hit dimple balls with the DeMarini CF5? kiser03

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
