Pros: THIS BAT IS AWESOME! the pop is amazing on this bat. this bat is the best bat in the Easton line even over the torq. u should get this bat. AND REMEMBER FROM CLICK TO HIT!
Cons: nothing yet
Pros: I got this bat as a refund for the 2014 mako because the end cap came loose I'm glad it did because this bat is AWESOME it has great pop and the end cap has not fallen off yet.
Cons: 0 None
Pros: this bat was my boys first composite bat. I got a 28 inch 11 oz bat cause my boys are small just arrived yesterday they could swing it with ease. The pop on this bat is unreal they were hitting hard line drives and long fly balls to the outfield !! i swear they gained more than 10-20 yards on there outfield hits !! this is a great bat and i like the color
Cons: none
Pros: Very good pop and very good bat speed and good color
Cons: Nothing
Pros: all i really care about is the pop and vibration. I would suggest putting lizard skin grips on it because the one it has is not very good.
Cons: none
Pros: best small barrell bat out there. If your 8-12 this bats for you.
Cons: high price but worth it.
Pros: This bat has amazing pop with a really light swing. My son hits the ball alot farther with this bat compared to the 2014 xl1. Definitely lives up to the hype
Cons: none so far
Pros: it flies when you connect
Cons: i bought the 28 -11 for my son. he has never had a problem swinging a 17 oz bat. bought a scale today and the bat weighed 19 oz. he is a little slower getting it around but still hits well. just be aware. some other bats are a little closer to the correct weight.
Pros: this bat is AWESOME the grip and the pop
Cons: nothing
Pros: My son upgraded to the 28" MAKO from a Combat Portent 27/15 and there is no comparison. Balls are coming off the bat much faster/quicker and going a lot farther. Also seemed that the break-in time was much quicker as well. Just a few hits off the tee and some soft toss and it was ready to go. The Combat seemed to take much longer. Highly recommend the MAKO.
Cons: None thus far
Pros: Nice paint,GREAT pop, and nice hits
Cons: My whole team wants to use it
Pros: I noticed an immediate change in my son's hitting with this one. I was skeptical that the price reflected the same increase in performance. Normal grounders are sharper and line drives seem to be 15 to 20% further. For comparison, he was using the Easton S300 (2014) prior.
Cons: Tiny pin pricks of paint on the barrel upon first use. Only aesthetic, but still.
Pros: I'm a 12 year old travel ball player and my teammate recently got this bat. The pop of this bat is absolutely unbelievable, in practice I hit a ball about 275 feet and the others really hard hit line drives, huge sweetspot, nice color.
Cons: It feels endloaded, they say it's a balanced bat but it doesn't feel much different than the XL1
Pros: Hit as soon as I unwrapped it and it had amazing pop and felt great.
Cons: None
Pros: feels ok to my son but the results are not there i'm an an ex d1 player and high school batting coach
Cons: no pop dead ball sound went back to voodoo and all was back to normal again not worth time or money move on to something else
Pros: This is the best bat out there. My son hit 80 balls over the fence last year with it. we used it on the all star team and had a two run homer hit over the fence to win the game. I called it the secret weapon. I let several boys use this bat besides my son and made them look like a top rate hitter. We wore it out last year because we used it so much. I just ordered another for this year. It may be more expensive than the other bats, but it earned every penny I paid for it last year.
Cons: The bat did cause little vibration sometimes, but if you wear batting gloves the vibration is not that bad.
Pros: Flys when you connect
Cons: hurts when you hit it low
Pros: My son is 9 and is on his second Mako, needed a longer one. He is faster through the zone than ever and has more confidence than ever with his Mako. Everybody on his team wants to swing it. The fastest bat, with the biggest barrel. Pop No stingers Balanced weight Backed by a Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty.
Cons: Grip wear and ink transfer from the ball on the barrel. (I know, those are pathetic cons)
Pros: TOO MANY
Cons: NONE
Pros:
Cons:
Pros: My 6 year old son swings this bat with no issues. The ball jumps off and his hits are in the outfield.
Cons: Everyone wants to use his bat!!
Pros: This bat is one of the best bats you can buy, second only to the previous Mako, The pop is AMAZING and you cant feel any vibration. I recommend this bat above the torq.
Cons: the price
Pros: has alot of pop and a pretty good sized barrel
Cons: the handle shoul be gray and white like the 2014 mako now it looks like a giant white handle
Pros: This bat has a killer amount of pop out of the wrapper. All though with the LL design it can be hard to connect, but 2nd to the xl1 this thing most likely is the best little league bat on the market. Hit 4 bombs with it in little league season and one in all stars. All were around 220-260 feet deep and maybe even 280. Not even a power hitter either. One kid took one about 320 into opposite field with this.
Cons: Literally broke in half after a year and 2 months..... probably faulty bat, but still kinda crazy.....
Pros: pop is crazy I just got it and I barely half swung and it went to the outfield great bat
Cons: It is expensive but worth it
Pros: I have used this bat many times during travel ball games and have hit .897 one tournament, it has so much pop it is hard to keep the ball in the field!
Cons: Everyone wants to use this bat!
Pros: A lot or them
Cons: Cost a lot of money
Pros: shipped on time, effortless pop
Cons: takes time to break in.
Pros: Amazing pop and feel
Cons: None
Pros: this bat is awesome! i bought it for my 10 yr old son and he has hit extremely well with it. he hits the ball to the fence and has hit one out of the park in center field
Cons: a chunk of paint came off after hitting a ball
Pros: Nothing new here. This is a great bat for pop and feel. My son loved it out of the box.
Cons: Less than a week of use had the the cap go flying during BP. This is the second MAKO we have purchased and each bat had to be sent back for the same reason. At least the last one lasted a few months.
Pros: Seems to have great swing balance and good pop. A very good bat.
Cons: none at this point
Pros: My boys, 9 and 12, love this bat. They are intense ball players and have excelled with this bat!
Cons: high price
Pros: My son loves the bat so far. He says it has a nice pop. He's 11 years old, 5'2 so we purchased the 31"
Cons: price
Pros: lots of barrel, purchase the 32 inch drop 11. bat will last many years. the bat gets better and better as the bat gets broken in. very little vibration, even when hit on the inside or end of bat.
Cons: no down side.
Pros: feels good in hands. less vibration when hitting.
Cons: doesnt have the pop compared to the techzilla.
Pros: Tons of pop, and feels light through the zone. It also has a good sized barrel.
Cons: The durability is bad, my first mako cracked in the middle of an all star game. Luckily my friend had one that we used for that game, then the next day his cracked. Then I decided to order a new mako and the first bp with new high end baseball it got a surface crack( paint chip). It doesn't really matter that this one has chipped paint. But hopefully easton upgrades the durability of there next mako's.
Pros: it has great pop and hits the ball far
Cons: three of mine have broken in 30 days
Pros: this bat has incredible pop,no vibration my son was out on the field yesterday and hit 5 home runs with this bat this bat deserves a 5!
Cons: nothing yet
Pros: Definitely has pop off the bat. Immediate improvement seen in results.
Cons: None to date.
Pros: I play for the saginaw bay riverdawgs we were playing in a Texas World Series and i hit 3 consecutive homers one being a grand slam the others being single shots best bat in the world if not in the Easton line
Cons: None
Pros: Awesome
Cons: Zip
Pros: My son is 11 years old. He is about 5'2" and 105 pounds and has started using a 31/20 Mako. He used -12s and -13s in the past but this bat is not too heavily end-loaded for him. It has a pretty balanced swing weight for a -11. The ball really jumps off this bat. He also has experienced very little hand vibration as well. Great bat overall.
Cons: None to date.
Pros: the mako has great pop. if you hit the ball off the end of the bat you wont want to cry from the horrible sting like you would feel on alluminum bats
Cons: the bat was chipped in the first few weeks that i had the bat. i've used the bat for about 3/4 of a year and the bat is pretty much dead. I thought the bat was to light for my swing.
Pros: The bat feels amazing, great speed through the batting zone, hardly any vibration and vicious pop that will scare anyone even in the outfield
Cons: No cons for me!
Pros: It has a lot of pop and is very balanced. This bat is one of the best bats out there.this bat has a huge barrel and sweet spot.
Cons: the grip was good but then it got really dirty and hard.If you don't hit in the sweet spot the ball will go nowhere.
Pros: Wow! Is this bat legal? My eight year old hit over 220' fence for a Grand Slam walk-off.
Cons: none
Pros: This bat out of the wrapper is HOT. This is my 2nd one to buy. Will continue to buy as long as they are around. you cant beat this two piece fully comp bat. no vibration, huge sweet spots. The whole team has resorted to this bat. i dont care breaks it in quicker and has a way longer life then what people say.
Cons: none at all. only con is you not owning one.
Pros: This is the best bat in the WORLD it is amazing and as the best feel ever
Cons: 0 none
Pros: great feel and does not sting your hands when you hit it wrong.
