Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper, only took me about 50-60 cuts to break in. Would reccomend this bat to any and everyone. Well-balanced and great graphics. Love mine, grab yours today!

Cons: No cons other than color. Not the biggest fan of white bats, but all the other pros to this bat well outweigh the color.

Pros: Didn't take long to break it in - used it in BP for probably 200 swings, took it to a game last night, took 2 out to 325, another out to 350 or 360. Great pop, love the feel even more than most balanced bats. I've been a Worth guy up until now, but I think this bat turned me into a Miken guy.

Cons: I hate white bats because they get dirty so easily; that really doesn't matter though.

Pros: Easy Swing, good pop and nice for both power hitters and place hitters. A guy on my team has only hit 1 homerun ever since playing softball and he used this bat at our first game and his first swing resulted in a homerun!

Cons: Haven't found one yet, will have to see how it holds up for an entire season.

Pros: ok first of all I used to be a die hard Miken lover then I switched to Worth when Miken started falling short on their bats. I am once again back on the Miken train. This bat right out of the wrapper was smashing the ball. I put about 100 BP swings on it at Dbat in the cage then started using it in games and everybody swears that its shaved. Bat sounds shaved when you hit with it and the ball exploads of the barrel. Best Miken i have had in a long time.

Pros: In all my years of slo pitch, this is the first bat that I've ever owned myself, and I can't believe it took me so long. Worth every penny. I'm a female hitting to the back field in an indoor league, so I can't wait to use with it outdoors!

The 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced USSSA (SPSYBU) Slow Pitch has all the same specifications as the 2015 Miken Izzy Psycho SuperMax (SPSYMU) Slow Pitch. However, the Psycho (SPSYBU) has a balanced swing weight and the Izzy Psycho (SPSYMU) features an ounce end load.

No, the 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced USSSA (SPSYBU) Slow Pitch would not be approved for any ASA leagues. You will need to look for a 2004 ASA stamped bat like the: Anderson NanoTek SP Omega (NANOSPO) Slow Pitch. There are not many bats still left with the 2004 ASA stamp but the Omega will have an example of what to look for.

The 1.20 stamp is the Bat Performance Factor. The BPF is essentially a measure of a non-wood bat"s performance (how fast the ball exits the bat when hit) in relation to a standard wood bat"s rating of 1.00. A very good wood bat"s BPF is 1.15. The 1.20 BPF is ther general standard for USSSA play.

Bats like the 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced USSSA (SPSYBU) are weighed and marked in early stages of production before some things like graphics, grip tape, and sometimes even the end cap are added. The bat may weigh in heavier than 27 ounces after all of this is considered but it would weigh similarly to other 27 ounce models.

The 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SPSYBU) has been discontinued because Miken is now only producing this model in the 2016 version. The 2016 Miken Izzy Psycho Balanced model number is SYCHBU.
