PSYCHO Line remains strong Jared player

Pros: Love the feel, love the graphics. Psycho line remains strong.

Cons: The only reason I put a 4 for the pop was because I haven't swung this outside yet.

2015 Miken Psycho Keith player

Pros: Great Bat with a lot of pop. Nice feel and comfy grips

Cons: Not a fan of the graphics. Reads as PSYCH on the white bat as the O is the skull. But who reads the graphics when you are getting hit after hit.

Fantastic! Brent player

Pros: This bat was crazy hot out of the wrapper. Absolutely beautiful graphics as well. Grip is solid and holding up very well. I use a 30oz since I'm a bigger guy. Very large sweet spot and a solid feel all around. Highly recommend this bat.

Cons: If you have OCD about keeping a clean bat, be warned, it is white all around. This will get dirty fast.

Miken 2015 Super Max Psycho Robin / aka Little One player

Pros: Great from the first hit. Feels like a balanced bat although it is 1oz end loaded. This bat really feels good when the ball comes off it. I am a senior lady only about 4'10", I have a 28/34 bat, feels like a 26/34. This bat is the best I have ever used. Absolutely love it. Highly recommend it. Worth the money. Feels better than the 2012 Miken Super Max 28/34 FX 700 series, and performs awesome right out of the box. Great buy.

Cons: None.

Great Replacement for a Broken 2013 Miken Triad 3 Chevas Yeoman player

Pros: - End load on this bat feels perfect for heavy hitters like myself. My 34/27 swings like a 34/30, which I prefer. - Started to break-in after 100-150 swings and jump off the bat. - One-piece design feels sturdy and is already more durable than the Triad 3 two piece that lasted 3 games before the barrel fell down over the handle. - Grip feels great.

Cons: - No where near as hot as the Triad 3 that it replaced. - Small sweetspot towards the end like most end loaded bats.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SPSYMA? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

How does this bat compare to the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA? I'm about 150 lbs and usually swing a 26 or 27 oz bat. Which would you recommend? Jay
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax (SPSYMA) and the 2015 Miken Ultra 750X (UL75MA) are both very high performing models. The main difference between the two is that the Psycho will have a 1 ounce end load while the the Ultra 750X will have a .5 ounce end load. If you have been using just a Maxloaded bat and switched to a SuperMax then I would go with a 26oz. design.
John
Which stamp is on this bat? 2004 or 2014? travis
This 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA: (SPSYMA) Slow Pitch bat features the newest ASA performance certification mark which was introduced for the 2013 season. Any new slow pitch models that are now being produced, that are ASA certified, should feature the newest stamp. And on each product page on our website, the bat's stamps will be pictured.
Mac
Does this bat mash with a .52 cor ball? jer
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) is designed to use with the .52 cor balls. It will perform very well and be very durable.
Kara
Which bat would you rather go with the Supermax Psycho or the Ultra 750X? charles
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) has a full ounce end load. The 2014 Miken Ultra 750X Maxload ASA (SULTMA) will only have a 1/2 ounce end. Both bats use the same 750X technology.
Kara
I am a line drive hitter, and not a power hitter. Am I better off with the balanced Psycho or the end loaded version? rob c
For a line drive hitter you will be better off with the balanced version of the Psycho. The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) Slow Pitch would be for a power hitter.
Aaron
I was reading your reviews and it came to my attention that one of the reviews said this was a full ounce end load. The other review said that this was a half ounce end load. Question is What is the actual end load? Psycho Dad
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) features a full ounce end load.
Tessa L.
Being stamped only ASA does this mean this bat is not allowed for USSSA? CHIEF
Yes. The USSSA approved model of the Miken Psycho SuperMax would be model 2015 Miken Izzy Psycho SuperMax (SPSYMU). There is not a model of this bat currently available that covers both.
Patrick
Is this bat made in a 28 oz.? Steve
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA (SPSYMA) made in a 28 oz. However, we are currently out of stock. We will notify you by e-mail when the item arrives.
Kara
I normally swing a 27 oz Triad. Would the weight, feel, and bat speed be about the same on this bat? double ott
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA: (SPSYMA) will be pretty similar in the fact that it will have the same end-load feel. Overall, the weight distribution will be about the same. The biggest difference is that this model will be a one-piece, meaning it will feel a little bit stiffer in comparison to a two-piece design, which will provide a little bit more flex. Therefore, the biggest difference will be the overall feel of the bat, but the weight distribution will be the same.
Merritt
Is the Miken Soulta 2013 Ultra ASA bat balanced and what is the durability with the 44 core ball? Thanks Bill
The Miken Ultra ASA (SOULTA) is a balanced model. It is designed for lower compression balls and will run into durability issues with the .44 COR balls.
Bobby
Would this be a good bat if you were using .44 core balls? JaJa
The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SPSYMA) features the new ASA stamp, which means that it is meant for use with the softer 52 COR balls. It is designed for lower compression balls and will run into durability issues with the .44 COR balls.
Tessa

The 2015 Miken Psycho SuperMax ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (SPSYMA) has a 14.5" barrel length.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
