Pros: First off this may be the coolest bat RIP-IT has ever created. The graphics are sweet and the overall feel is awesome. The sweet spot is pretty much the entire barrel and the two piece design takes away all that bad vibration. The bat is very balanced.
Cons: NONE!
Pros: A good bat to handle with and also it does have some pop
Cons: Nothing!
Pros: great pop, great feeling overall, good balance, and enhances bat speed
Cons: none
Pros: The newest work of this Rip-it helium bat has been remarkable with the work I used with it so far!!!! The balance quality of this bat is outstanding !!! The level of my swing has never felt so level ever before !!! I was making much better contact with the ball ,and on top of that when I got jammed on a inside pitch there was exactly no aftershock of the bat at all!!!! I am very impressed with the way the Rip-it company has come out with such amazing bats in their lineup.
Cons: Nothing!
Pros: Very balanced, comfortable grip and good pop.
Cons: no cons
Pros: everything about it great balance great grip great designing overwll a great bat
Cons: not as much pop as the white rip it but could just need more hits on it think once it gets about 100-200 itll be best yet
Pros: My son has this and the Mako right out of the wrapper the rip it blew the mako away and the mako is broken in the bay felt great all the way through the zone has excellent pop and just feels right in your hand
Cons: Non so far
Pros: Bat is going to be a game changer at the college level and in the BBCOR world. Explosive pop with great feel. My college guys love it and are pumped up to use in it 2015.
Cons: - Weight distribution
Pros: Players like the swing and feel of this bat. Good pop.
Cons: Bat broke 4th day of BP. Handle End broke loose and fell off (weld broke). Having to return for warranty replacement. Will update with new bat results.
Pros: Not many. I suppose for the 2 piece bat fan this would work, it definitely felt lighter for it's weight. Easy to get bat speed up. For us it cannot compare to a XL1.
Cons: My son has been using Easton XL1 BBCOR, this bat didn't not feel right to him at all, you can really feel the 2 piece design, I also gave the demo a try, didn't like it either. If you aren't a fan of 2 piece or haven't tried one you really should make sure your player tries a demo first, I would have been bummed if I spend the money on the hype and he would not use it.
Pros: Very good bat! It has a great pop of the bat, better then most bats on the market! It is a definite buy if you want a bat that will give you the max output in a very short time. If you are still iffy about this bat let me tell you, you need this bat it is a great one!
Cons: None really it is an outstanding bat!
Pros: From the first hit you can feel the difference. The pop between a regular bbcore and the helium is very different, its almost like using a bzar.
Cons: none
Pros: Most pop I have felt on a BBCOR bat. On my first swing I could feel the ball fly off my bat. The weight was balanced very well and felt great in my hands. When you don't barrel it up the power was still there and you could still drive balls for base hits. Brought some power back into the game and made it more fun to hit and watch your baseballs start to fly during BP and in the games.
Cons: None
Pros: Most Pop I have ever seen in the BBCOR era. As a Head HS Baseball Coach we purchased several Ripit BBCOR bats in 2014 and most of my guys switched from their traditional bats to the Ripit BBCORE Air. Many of our players and coaches felt like the switch to Ripit is what led us to winning a State Championship. We, overall were hitting more line drives than ever. This year, we switched to the Ripit Helium. All I can say is WOW! This bat is the real deal. Never before in 20 years of coaching HS have I ever seen the call jump so fast off this bat. It should be renamed the Laser Helium. Right now our in our lineup, hitters 1-9 are swinging the Helium bat and the results are proven!
Cons: We wish it could come in team colors. We do question the durability a little bit, but maybe that is only due to the fact that every player on my team is swinging the Helium Ripit.
Pros: It feels good in your hands and is comfortable and also is like you have more pop then any of the other bat that's on the market. It really comes off the bat fast.
Cons: none
Pros: greaT POP, and feel
Cons: heavy handle
Pros: all of it
Cons: nothing that i have noticed
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Pros: If you want to hit the best, you should swing a Rip-It
Cons: None at all
Pros: big sweet spot, no sting, really balanced, quicker swing.
Cons: none
Pros: who puts gas in a bat. Bat felt great.
Cons: None that i see
Pros: Good balance, feel, and swing speed feels the same from a -5. One of the better felling -3. Still feels like a -5 in your hands.
Cons: Just pop
Pros: Feels great, very light, very balanced
Cons: Pop was gone after one session of bp. Very disappointed with this bat because the hype was huge and the bat honestly isn't good at all. I used the Rip-it bbcor air last year and it has the best pop out of any bbcor i have used. Don't waste your money on this bat. Sent mine back after a couple weeks.
Pros: Lighter than other BBCOR bats
Cons: The Sweatspot is not as large as other bats. The bottom of the handle is not great. My son also has the 2015 RIP IT Air Elite which has a bigger Sweatspot and more pop. Thanks to RIP-IT's "Love it or Return It" policy we were able to try them both out. Trust me, Air Elite is much better for power hitters. My son loves the Air Elite.
Pros: When i swing this bat it is very balanced. When you hold the bat it may not feel balanced but it is. Great pop on this bat rip it is the way to go
Cons: None
Pros: felt balanced
Cons: No pop what so ever, worst bat ive ever had.
Pros: Awesome sweet spot, great pop, extremely balanced, nice graphics, and nice feel.
Cons: None!
Pros: Weight distributed thoughout the bat very well.
Cons: Color
Pros: Great bat. Good overall pop.
Cons: None
Pros: Extremely great pop out of this bat. Very little vibration and tons of power. Love the hand grip.
Cons: None
Pros: awesome bat, great balance and feel. everyone that hit with it, loved it.
Cons: none
Pros: My 14 year old got his helium last week and was very excited to try it out. He had a rip-it drop 5 and when we saw this he just had to have it. He won't need Bbcor until next season (8th grader) but if I was going to drop 300 bucks it was going to be on one he could use next season. I'm happy to report that he LOVES it so far. His coach told me he hit the ball the best in BP at practice. Haven't had it on a field yet (weather) but he is stroking the ball at the cage. He is a smaller kid but great bat speed..this was designed with that type of player. With the 30 day love it or return it policy, we had nothing to lose..and neither would you.
Cons: Not a fan of the color that much..would look better in a different paint scheme. Other than that, nothing
Pros: Good pop
Cons: Seperated after three swings...my son is 5'5" and weighs 115...as you can imagine he is not a power hitter... We were in a cage using real baseballs at 70 mph. Will never buy a ript again.
Pros: THIS IS A GREAT PERFORMING WELL ENGINEER NO STING BAT!!!! .... ALL AROUND .....10 +
Cons: NONE AT ALL!!!!
Pros: The bat feels okay! Feels somewhat balanced. Swings through the zone faster.
Cons: I started using this bat because I thought it would have more spring and faster through the zone. Even though this is true, I felt like I was hitting the top of the ball more with this bat than any other. With other bats, I could hit fine, but when I tried this bat, something went wrong. Also, the sealing between the cap and the barrel started to peel away after 1 week. If you like this bat and get used to it, it may mess up your swing when you try to use a normal bat.
Pros: My players have hit a total of 17 home runs this year and 12 of them have been with the POWER ELITE RIP-IT bat and 4 have been with the helium so RIP-IT has a bright future in their pockets. All of their bats have great vibration levels and a nice pop to them. Not a doubt in the world that RIPIT is the next big brand
Cons: My players have been wanting a new color. Something that doesn't scream flamboyant.
Pros: It has a good sounding and a great feel when you make contact with the ball! The handle is the best thing ever!
Cons: It takes awhile to break in, and the end cap is starting to kinda peel off and chip besides that its a great bat!
Pros: Just purchased. There is nothing I do not like about this bat thus far. I really like the grip. This is a live bat. The ball seems to explode off it.
Cons: none so far
Pros: The price was right for this bat. Expectations were high and thus far all has been met. My son really like the feel and added pop off the bat.
Cons: none
Pros: best bat ever ! great pop ! just amazing bat
Cons: nun
Pros: Comfortable grip, substantial pop, very balanced
Cons: None yet
Pros: bananced, nice pop
Cons: 1st one had a rattle after 2 weeks, replacement cap broke day 1.
Pros: Sorry DeMarini, the CF6 just went to the garbage! This bat is perfect - hard hitting, well balanced. My son went 4/4 (including a grand slam) and a sac fly first game with it, he loves it!
Cons: Paint chips easily
Pros: This bat is awesome! It has great pop! Used it a couple times and the ball flies off the bat! There is no sting if you hit it inside or at the end. WELL DONE RIP-IT
Cons: NOTHING
Pros: The bat is light for a bbcor bat and has great pop for bbcor.
Cons: its an all aluminum bat
Pros: has good pop
Cons: sticker fell off an now looks like trash but overall not my favorite
Pros: Swings lighter than what it seems... Nice pop considering its a BBCOR. Recommended over the typical Easton and LVille BBCOR bats.
Cons: 1st one broke but they replaced quickly and it's been fine since.
Pros: had good pop first week. Ripit very good on replacing bad bats!
Cons: rattled after first week, sent it back, Ripit replaced it right away, second one lasted two weeks, rattled then broke and handle collapsted into barrel, sent it back and replaced it with 2015 Ripit Air Elite. after 3 and a half months, knob on handle broke off. done with Ripit, 3 bats in 5 months not good product!!!!!
Pros: Trampoline Effect, Pop, lightweight through the zone, best bat I have ever swung before it broke
Cons: Broke in less than a month, both barrels separated.
Pros: This bat is a great bat for me, a lot of pop and no vibration with a good sweet spot. Haven't had a problem with the pop so that's good also very balanced I would recommend this bat to a middle or high school player that's a little smaller
Cons: Feels like some of the pop has left the bat. I've also have heard a lot of story's of the bat breaking or it losing all its pop in the first swings haven't had it happen and hope it doesn't. Also paint has chipped and and galled of a little and the thing at the bottom that says the weight and length has fell off
Pros: Amazing pop and almost no vibration
Cons: I went through two of these bats in one month. First bat last its pop quickly. The second bats barrel detached from the handle. I just wish that the bat was made better
Pros: Amazing pop and good balance. Best bat I have used since the composite days in terms of pop.
Cons: I have had 3 of these bats and have to keep sending them back because they break. I am giving up on the Helium and getting the new Rawlings Velo. Thank God for the great returns policy.
Pros: My granson is a power hit that hates end loaded bats, so this bat is perfect for him. At 13 yr/10 mo doing soft toss on a high school field, the day after he got it he hit the one over the HS fence. Please keep making these bats.
Cons: Price
Pros: i didn't have very many i don't know if my bat was defective or what ?
Cons: the 2 piece broke the handle went into the barrel. from the first day i pulled it out the box the seal on the 2 piece was lose and wobbly and no matter where the ball hit the bat with it being lose it was a soft hit and then i was walking and just barely tapped the bat on the ground like a cane to walk as all players do and the bat just broke and went in side its self i am sending it back soon.
Pros: The bat has a lot of pop. I watched my son hit with it in the batting cage. He was killing the ball. He is a 9th grader playing Junior varsity on his high school team and I cant wait to see him play. He said it does not shock when the ball is hit with the end of the bat. He normally use a combat but he wanted to experiment with the helium. He said, it's pretty nice to be an alloy bat since he only hit with composite bats.
Cons: So far the bat is living up to the hype.
Pros: This bat has some of the best pop ive ever seen and gas a big sweet spot.
Cons: The barrel has come off the bat 3 different times. I would not reccomend this bat if you dont want to send it back after a few days use.
Pros: None
Cons: Broken first day a batting practice. It came apart at the connection from the handle to the barrel.
Pros: I'm 42 playing since I've been 7 . Still playing in a metal bat league where average speed is 75 this bat is no joke, it rocks. The pop is like high school back in 92 with the great ones. No breaks or other issues after 500 hard balls,, but like any bat if you don't keep it warm above 60 degree weather it will break. Hitting 90mph hard balls in the cages this bat has tremendous pop. I would never say it if not true trying many others this is the best.
Cons: That it's l Imited.
Pros: Great balanced bat overall. The ball bounces off the bat great, it sounds great and has tremendous pop. No vibration has occurred for me so far. The bat has a fantastic sound when hitting. Overall the bat is a great choice for the price you are getting it for, best on the market by far.
Cons: Grip tape is very bulky and fat.
Pros: lots of pop. big sweet spot
Cons: loud but who cares.
Pros: has great pop and feels good... feels light and balls comes off bat well!
Cons: i have had to replace twice... last about 2 weeks bothe times
Pros: None
Cons: Bought it February of 2015. Replaced it during the high school season and was barely used the rest of the season and had to be replaced at the end of the season. Next time the bat was used was during a tournament for boys aged 14/15. Didn't even last the weekend. Held off replacing until closer to the high school season. Used in one game and needs to be replaced again. Problem is the warranty is up.
Pros: good pop. sound.
Cons: thought it was great bat but separated at joint between handle and barrel after only a couple of weeks. does not seem to be engineered well
Pros: bat had good pop and nice contact
Cons: barrel became loose at about 45 days. just bats was great with the replacement process, but my replacement is used up after 45 days. hopefully it will last the 400 days
Pros: Felt good as first. Hitting back to back with a Velo and liked the Helium.
Cons: Broke on first day! I give Just Bats credit, they overnighted a new one. Hopefully he 2nd one will be better. If not will go with another brand
Pros: My son is the only one on the team with this bat, and has been out preforming all the Makos, and CF's. This beeing his first season with BBCOR, I didn't expect much, was sold on the tech behind this bat and bought it. Glad I did, he loves it. He's been powering thru the zone with not a lot of loss in his hitting compared to his Little league bats. It has helped him transition faster then most of the other kids on his team. The ball come off like a composite, and it can hit BOMBS!!!!!
Cons: Not sure of the durability but will find out over time. So far so good.
Pros: This bat has the best pop Ive ever seen since the besr era. I fell in love with this bat the first time I bought it. The first one I bought, I could of swore the barrel was slightly loose. But I thought maybe I was imagining things. I sold the bat because I wanted to try the DeMarini Voodoo which wasnt bad. Anyways, this time I played 4 games in one weekend, both doubpe headers. Bat broke me out of a slump with one of the games bringing me a home run short of a cycle. The barrel felt loose like the previous one. After I smashed a one hopper over the centerfield fence the barrel came completely loose which I was shocked because I only heard of this happening and never seen this before.
Cons: Durabilty, I just dont understand why this bat couldnt been made better. This should be the best bat they ever made but they came up short with where the barrel and handle meet.
Pros: great pop awesome weight balance good feeling grip This bats pop is amazing. Hit a homerun my first at bat with it. Had a few homeruns in tye last 5 games used with this cant talk it enough enough and you cant beat the price! Just bats got it here quickly and love doing business with them.
Cons: the only bad thing is the whole team will be wanting to use this bat!
Pros: Hit 3 high school homers with this bat! My first 3. Enough Said!!!
Cons: None.
Pros: pop
Cons: my hs team broke 3 of these bats in around 2 months. Not a good bat choice.
Pros: Good Feel Great Pop Great Price, this bat is worth 300 plus
Cons: Sweet spot is not as big as I thought it would be
Pros: Swings light, seems to have just as good pop as any BBCOR bat I suppose that's the point of BBCOR so bat speed should be the only separating factor in overall pop aside from the size of the sweet spot.. Lighter swing weight = more bat speed = more pop. Only had it a couple of weeks not used in games yet only BP so we'll see how it performs and holds up over time. Great bat for the $$ probably the best deal you'll find out there right now if you don't mind the looks. But who cares what it looks like great bat otherwise
Cons: looks leave a little to be desired not impressed with the colors or overall design endcap and knob looks cheap nothing fancy I guess that's how a $400 bat become $80 in just a year or so after production. Would have never paid full price for this one compared to other bats in that price range...
Pros: Bat rarely vibrates, and if it does, it does not hurt.
Cons: No pop, i could hit the ball square and it felt like it hit the end of the bat on lots of other bats because it did not "jump" off of it
Pros: I bought this bat for my 14 year old son. i was a little bit worried because of the reviews citing durability issues. I figured to take a chance because the price was right. So far my son loves the bat. Great pop, no vibrations (which is a big issue for my son), well balanced.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: Great balance, nice pop, unbelievable price. Bought 2-once for each of my sons. Unfortunately, the 32" is a little too long for my 12 year old right now but he should definitely "grow into" it for Spring. My 17 year old loves it!
Cons: None.
