AXE Handle Benefits
Better Bat Control - High speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The AXE handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The AXE handle is ergonomically designed, so it naturally fits the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional round handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate Bone. The flush backside of the AXE handle relieves this pressure.

Fantastic feel -- powerful pop! Dave parent
Pros: Bought this after attending a Danielle Lawrie clinic for the daughter and it immediately became her game bat. The handle keeps her hands in the correct hitting position and prevents rolling over. A bat won't immediately make someone a better hitter but it's been a great first step. Definitely recommend!
Cons: None!
WOW! Tons of Pop! Softball chauffeur parent

Great bat at a great price Joshua Graham parent
Pros: -lots of pop for a non composite -very durable -can be used for both training and game play
Cons: -wonder what it would be like if they made it in a composite or a half-n-half
Love it! swatson parent
Pros: Just an all around good bat for the price. My daughter wont use any of her other ones now. I'm so glad I got it for her, she has always been a hitter but this bat has boosted her confidence so much.
Cons: None
Feels great in your hands Mike Maciolek parent
Pros: This bat feels great in your hands. My daughter loves it. She had no problem adjusting to the handle. She hit the ball on a much more consent bases. My son's like the way the handle is so much they want the little league version.
Cons: None
Says what it claims!! Holly parent
Pros: Right out of the package it has a great pop. I bought this bat for my 13 year old. She had out grown the others. Most bats need to be broke in before they show its full potential. My daughter barely swung this bat (just to get a feel for it) and knocked the ball almost to the fence like it was nothing. She loves it. Seems to be a great decision and the price makes it even better. I gave it one star on durability, because we haven't had it long enough. The delivery service is great, too. I had opted for the free delivery and it arrived a day before. That just put the icing on the cake for me.
Cons: She's had this bat for one practice. Can't really say if there are any cons at this time.

Great bat for the price Anthony Sanchez parent
Pros: The bat has been everything we hoped it would be. The ball jumps off the bat.

The design and pop of this bat amazes people. Jamison coach
Pros: light weight, it has a great amount of pop, the design of the handle became a team favorite. Once the girls on the team were introduced to the bat they loved it. The holding of the bat did need to be explained but it was easy to teach. Once they got the feel of how to hold it they preferred the axe handle over the standard. Great Purchase.
Cons: none that I can think of at this time

About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
