Pros: its light so u can get your hands around quicker the defusion 2.0 handle saved my hands a number of times
Cons: dont have one i love this bat
Pros: Great pop super light and balanced my 8 yr old has the 30/19 and kills it she loves this bat no more vibration this bat is a great investment
Cons: not a single one yet
Pros: Got the 29/18 for my 8yr old and it is awesome. Now every girl on the team uses it. Could not rate durability just got bat.
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat my daughter has a 2015 Mako & 2015 Xeno so far this is by far the hottest straight out of the wrapper, so i can just imagine the pop its gonna have when broken in. Havent had it long enough to comment on durability.
Cons: None as of yet?
Pros: Great Bat, Daughter Loves it!
Cons: None Yet
Pros: This bat has given my 8 year old more confidence and has made her a more aggressive hitter.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it now!!! lol
Pros: Just bought this bat today for my 9 year old daughter. We have been looking for a bat that the ball would just fly off of. Well I think we found it. She has had couple of bats but the pop off the bat is unbelievable right out of the wrapper. I cant wait to see her in a tournament with it. So worth the money.
Cons: none so far
Pros: Really good feel and has geed bat and I would definitely recommend it to a friend! Demarini has always had good bats that produce solid hits. Looks really nice!
Cons: The handle is a bit skinny but some people may like that... Also at the edge of the double wall there is swirl on one side, it looks cool but it's not good if you accidentally hit an inside pitch there
Pros: Just purchased and used in tourney and she went 7 for 9 at the plate. Ball comes off bat like a trampoline! She loves the feel, she says its swings great!!
Cons: None
Pros: Great pop She says it doesnt sting when she makes contact. Light enough for her to handle
Cons: None so far
Pros: First tournament my daughter went 7 for 9, hitting linedrives into the outfield! Alot more pop than her cf7. It comes off the bat so good, she also says it feels good to swing!
Cons: Price but well worth it!
Pros: My 10 year old daughter said, "the ball feels more bouncy, off my bat." Enough said.
Cons: Haven't had long enough to experience any issues.
Pros: nice light bat, well balanced with a large sweet spot.
Cons: A little spendy;
Pros: Good pop, great looking, hardly any vibration to the hands. My daughters first game with bat she went 2-4 with 4 RBI's homer and double. Not bad for literally right out of the wrapper.
Cons: Trying to keep it clean and ding free
Pros: Had this bat for about three weeks and it really sounds great when my 10 yrold hits with it. I have tried two of the other competeors top bats and M??O and L?T and i will not every buy another new bat that is not a Demarini!
Cons: Price is the only Con on the CF8 but people are paying it!
Pros: We have had the bat for only a couple of weeks. It has a lot of pop in the bat. It seems to be very well balanced and better for a child then an end loaded bat. Demarini is one of the only companies making a high performance bat for dedicated young softball players. The other bats are end loaded and negatively effect the swing plan on younger hitters.
Cons: None at this time.
Pros: My 11yr Daughter used the Bat (32/ 21) in a weekend Halloween tourney and you could just see her confidence as she took her first at bat. She hit a triple and batted great all weekend. The bat has great pop and is light enough and balanced to increase the length to cover more plate.
Cons: She liked the colors of the CF7 better but still likes the look of the bat.
Pros: My 12 yr old loves this bat. It had great pop right out of the wrapper. She was normally a speedy base hitter that would stretch hits into a double. With this bat, she's hitting ropes to the outfield in the gaps for stand up extra base hits and 2 in the park HR's. First tournament using this bat she went 16-18! Going to try talking her older sister to switch to Demarini!
Cons: None!
Pros: Demarini composite bats are awesome and greatly improve hitting performance! I will likely never purchase any other than Demarini. I can't rate durability at this point due to bat being new, but other Demarini products have worked well beyond warranty expiration.
Cons: would like better appearance options for the smaller sizes (-11's) - colors and graghics are much better for the older girls' bats
Pros: This bat is amazing. My daughter just turned 9 a couple months ago and played with the 28 inch Demarini CF6 Sprite -11 from Aug 2014-Aug 2015 in 8u. She is a still tiny and we got her an extra inch since she moved up to 10u Select this summer. They moved her to slapping and she gets on base everytime. She never complains about stinging or anything. Her confidence went up. She's two in the lineup now and hits amazing line drives, excellent bunts, and beautiful bouncing slaps and hard grounders. 5 other girls use this bat and they absolutely crush the ball.
Cons: None!
Pros: We bought this bat almost a month ago for our 12 yr old daughter. She plays travel ball and at her first Fall tourney she hit her first out the park homer! Daughter says this bat (which is heavier) feels lighter than her previous bat (DeMarini Bustos 31 drop 13). We just ordered the DeMarini CF8 (-10) also. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.
Cons: None so far
Pros: My 9 year old daughter loves this bat. We went from a CF5 to a Xeno (30-19) to this CF8 (30-19). No comparison. The CF8 blows the Xeno out of the water for this size bat. Big sweet spot, balanced swing. Best fastpitch bat available for 8U and 10U age groups in my opinion.
Cons: It's pricey, but it's worth it.
Pros: Good pop
Cons: Just cracked the 3rd CF8 -11 in less than a year, no more Demarinis for us, my daughter is 5'2" at 90lbs, and would not say a powered hitter. And this was all after her CF7 -11 cracked also.
Pros: My daughter is 11 and plays travel ball. She has always used a Xeno. Bought her a new CF8. We went for some batting practice and the third pitch I threw her she hit it over the fence . She went on to hit eight more over the fence and several off of the fence. WOW! First time she hit one over the fence in any setting. She is already talking about the CF9 coming out in June.
Cons: None
Pros: I bought each of my Granddaughters this bat and WOW what a pop this bat has. It was worth every pennie when i saw what they did in the game. In order to play you have to have the right equipment! This bat delivered!!!!!!!!!
Cons: Nothing bad to say!
Pros: Great Pop! Great Balance! Daughter hit great with them while they lasted
Cons: 5ft 80lbs daughter broke 2 bats, following all the composite bat usage rules, each with only 4-5 tournaments on them. Demarini replaced first bat in about 5 weeks even though they promised 2-3 weeks I called and they"kept saying they were waiting for parts", second bat they refused to replace because beyond 1 year even though we had replacement bat for 6 months. They told me she is out performing the bat, that their drop 11's tend to break more often for girls around age 11. Extremely disappointed . Guess we are buying Louisville Slugger from now on.
Pros: awesome bat out 8u machine pitch teamnhas 2 of them very balanced bat does not ring the girls hands and has a ton of pop
Cons: none
Pros: My daughter plays more than 100 games per year between travel and school ball. Hits year round with hitting lessons. she is 12 under 5ft and under 100 lbs. She is a contact hitter has some power and loves this bat sorry graphics mean nothing performance is the only important factor. Great swing speed and swing weight equals great pop and shots of the bat. We have had the CF5, CF7, and a replacement CF8 all drop 11. Company is great to deal with when you have an issue. Will continue to purchase based on the sheer permormance of these bats. Looking into going to a -10 hoping it solves the breakage problem without loosing performance. Vast majority of our team swing this bat either in a Drop 11 or 10 No real issues....
Cons: These bats are only lasting us about 7 months we broke a CF7 -11 and a CF8 -11 in about the same time frame. Only replace the first broken bat after the second your back shopping again.
Pros: Good pop till the bat cracks , which won't take very long . DeMarini needs to correct this problem instead of blaming it on 10U -12U players . They should be ashamed of themselves .
Cons: This bat was a Christmas present for my granddaughter she is 12 yrs. old and the smallest girl on her team . She made the school team as a 6th. grader and played in approx. 10 games . She also plays travel ball and 05/07/16 was her first tournament . Her bat cracked during the second game of this tournament . They need to correct this problem or stop making this bat four of them cracked on her team last year !
Pros: Have been buying DeMarini CF series bats since my daughter was 5 (8 years ago). This bat is just as good as all other. Second swing it bounced and hit the fence. Super hot out of the box. Love these bats.
Cons: None so far
Pros: Good balance and feel. Granddaughter is a first year player and it really boosted her confidence. 2 for 2 in her first game with it!!!
Cons: None
Pros: i read alot of reviews on here all made this bat sound to good to be true. But gave it a try and im glad i did. Bat has alot of pop and big sweet spot. crushes balls into the outfield
Cons: no one bad thing to say
Pros: good pop early then blow out not one but 5 out of 9
Cons: wont last very long 9 u12 players on same team got this bat and 5 of them blow out 4 left stay away !

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
