When you step up to the plate, confidence is key. That's confidence in your team to give everything to the game - confidence in yourself to get the job done - and unquestioning confidence in your equipment. The team at Easton has obviously been in the game for years and knows that not every hitter is built the same. All of the characteristics that define the archetype of a "Power Hitter" can be found in the new Easton XL3 Youth Baseball Bat: YB16X311 - 1.) The XL3 is forged from HMX (Hyperlite Matrix) Alloy for an expanded sweet spot and tremendous trampoline effect. 2.) Its traditional, stiff feel from its one-piece alloy design ensures that all of the seam-splitting energy you create is transferred directly to the baseball; and nowhere else. 3.) Wrap those features up with an extra-long barrel profile, perfectly-powerful end loaded swing weight, and new HYPERSKIN Performance Grip for supreme control, and there's not one inch of the plate that's out of your Hot Zone.
The XL3 Youth features a 2 1/4" barrel diameter, -11 length to weight ratio, and is Approved for Play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC and USSSA. Hitting dingers ! Riley Smith player
Pros: Big sweet spot, no vibration, very good grip, light feel, confident swing.
Cons: none
Jim parent
Pros: Huge Barrel. Decent Pop
Cons: Annoying loud even for an alloy. My son was in love with his old XL3 thus the reason for this purchase. This bat is just L-O-U-D and stings like crazy While swinging this weekend at a tournament, he hit it about 2 inches from the end and the end cap just shattered. Sending it back. Less than 4 months old.
Home Runs To Spare ! Fuller 32 parent
Pros: My 12 year old hit 15 home runs in a opening day home run derby this weekend. The second place winer had 4. Bat has big pop and sounds good to.
Cons: My son had a 2015 XL3 and it lost it's pop after 1/2 a season. I hope he can get at least 1 whole season out of this one.
hit those dingers i love baseball 15555555 player
Pros: the awsome sweet spot is awsome
Cons: for the $150.00 i wish it was composite

Pros: awesome pop it is a great bat i love it
Cons: i have no cons
Longevity is poor... LL Coach/Parent coach
Pros: Pop off of the bat is great when new...this year's model lost its' pop way too soon....
Cons: Replaced a 2015 XL3 that was used 1 season....It appeared to have lost its' pop. Purchased a 2016 XL3 early season...Son claims it changed tones mid practice over weekend and didn't seem to have the pop....purchased another XL3 as a back up as we are going into LL district play. Wasn't time to shop and compare let alone change bats when he is hitting good (psychological factor). Haven't had luck with composites either as they crack where the handle and barrel are bonded.
nice bat nathan parent

Cons: nothan
Recommend this bat! Robbie player
Pros: Good pop, No vibration really, rather durable.
Cons: Within a couple of hits the bat bent constantly.
dented after a week. tim jones player
Pros: i hit a homer with it
Cons: dented on a fastball. i am an elite player facing elite pitching and the bat dented on elite pitching.
