Description

The new Anderson Ignite senior league bat features a complete redesign of Anderson's popular single wall alloy technology. The Ignite is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the player's swing. This new alloy has a greater yield value and added strength that allows a lighter, more responsive, and larger Effective Hitting Area (EHA). Reducing the weight in the EHA, while maintaining the strength necessary to withstand impact, allows for greater design versatility including a significantly reduced Moment of Inertia (MOI). Optimizing the MOI makes it possible for players to swing the bat faster, with less effort. The Ignite is topped off with a TrueFlex End Cap that is designed to increase barrel strength and aid in vibration managment. Also helping eliminate annoying vibrations is the TaperFlex Contour which uses a proprietary combination of design mapping and wall-thickness tuning to prevent energy from escaping the barrel. Furthermore, an SG-I Sport Grip absorbs any stray shockwaves that might make it down to the ultra-thin whip handle. All of this technology is used to efficiently manage energy transfer and produce the most explosive hits for senior league players! Anderson is so confident you'll love this bat, they've brought back their Proof is at the Plate program. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don't like it, simply send it back to us. Let Anderson prove themselves... you've got nothing to lose! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The Ignite features the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Anderson Ignite Senior League Baseball Bat: IXT5? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

How much alike is this to the nanotek? stars man
I little different because the Ignite does not feature the higher-performing Nanotek material in the barrel. The Ignite's a great bat and will have similar feel and balance compared to the Nanotek, but the Nanotek will have a little advantage in terms of performance.
John
Is this a BBCOR? big peach
This bat would not be BBCOR certified. BBCOR certified bats will only be available in a -3 length to weight ratio.
John
The Anderson Ignite Senior League Bat, model IXT5, is not a BBCOR bat. It is classified as a Senior League or Youth Big Barrel bat. It is legal in all leagues that require a USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. However, Anderson does have a BBCOR bat also called the Ignite. It is the IXS Adult model.

How long is the barrel? I bought a KXP and the length of the barrel is tiny. My sons friend bought the -5 NanoTech with a much longer barrel. john
The 32" bat has a barrel length of approximately ten inches.
Kara
Would you recommend this to a big 13 year old? kyle
Yes, big power hitters will benefit from a one piece design.
Zach
Need to verify this is Dixie League All-Stars qualified. Barrel cannot say "Little League, "Dixie Youth", etc. . Can't tell from picture. Please verify! reed
The barrel of the Anderson Ignite says approved for Little League and Dixie Youth. Adult BBCOR bats such as the Anderson Ignite XS BBCOR: IXS Adult will not say approved for Little League or Dixie Youth.
Kara
is this bat end loaded because i am not very big but definitely not small and i could swing a balanced -5 off of good pitching but i don't think i could swing an end loaded -5 off of good pitching kyle
The Anderson Ignite is going to be a balanced feeling bat.
Sean
Does this bat tend to dent easy? matt
Based upon the reviews and feedback we have received regarding the Anderson Ignite: IXT5 Senior League baseball bat there is no reason to believe that this bat will easily dent.
Jeff
Is the weight spread out evenly? chris
The Anderson Ignite is a balanced swinging bat.
Nick
What is the advantage with a one-piece bat like this one? jake
A power hitter would benefit from the one-piece Anderson Ignite: IXT5 Senior League. It will have a stiffer feel swinging it, more so than a two-piece bat.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
