Description

After years of producing the highest performing all-metal bats on the market, Anderson is doing things differently this season. The NanoTek design has been revamped and made into a two-piece alloy/composite hybrid. Don't worry though, many of the same technologies remain and many more have been added to make this NanoTek the best yet! The thing that really sets the NanoTek apart is Anderson's LaunchPad which gives this bat the largest, most explosive, effective hitting area of any bat in the game. LaunchPad is an integral blend of complex nano-metallic and aluminum alloys that are molecularly bonded to create a barrel structure that results in a single metal wall. The patented LaunchPad combination delivers more strength and pop than any solo material or combination ever tried. By elastically strengthening the hitting area, the LaunchPad gives players the most reactive barrel in the game... with no break-in period required. Every feature of the NanoTek is designed to provide the hitter with the ultimate in performance. From the TrueFlex End Cap and TaperFlex Contour that aid in vibration management, to the Ergonomic Weldless knob that provides phenomenal comfort, the NanoTek will exceed your wildest expectations about what an Anderson bat can do for your game. Anderson is so confident you'll love this bat, they've brought back their Proof is at the Plate program. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don't like it, simply send it back to us. Let Anderson prove themselves... you've got nothing to lose! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the USA! The NanoTek is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: My son got this bat for Christmas and loves it. Unreal pop and he loves the look and feel. He used an Anderson -8 last year (13U), so there was a slight weight adjustment initially (-5), but it is awesome. No break in period also. Plus,it's made in the USA.

Cons: It is a bit pricier than other senior league bats in its category, but like most things, you get what you pay for.

LALL hr hitter

Pros: a lot of pop.

Cons: I got this bat for little league juniors. It is a bit heavy because the bat is only drop 5. So I recommend practicing with wooden bats before using it in games.

Pros: Amazing pop! The ball flies off this bat. My 12 yr. old is hitting bombs right out of the wrapper. Weight is a little heavier than advertised, but my son quickly adjusted. Great product and made in the USA!

Cons: A bit pricey.

My 13 year old son has his heart set on the Voodoo, I think only because his buddies have it. I've never heard of this manufacturer. What can you tell me comparing this bat to the DeMarrini Voodoo? Thank you in advance. Scott
Thank you for your question. Both bats are great bats, but DeMarini has been around a little longer that is probably why you have heard of them. Where as Anderson is an up and coming star in the bat world. Both bat would be great on the field I have included a link for comparison for you: http://www.justbats.com/compare/
Michael
With this now being a two piece bat, how much does it flex compared to other bats? The new Voodoo (-5) seems very whippy, the Easton XL1 (-5) has a more moderate amount of flex. Would this be more of a very stiff, almost one piece flex? jb
This bat is constructed to have a moderate amount of flex, more so than a one piece construction.
Shelbe
so is the bat bbcor certified or not MO
Thank you for your question. The Anderson NanoTek XT Senior League is not BBCOR certified. In order for a bat to be BBCOR certified, it must be a -3. The Anderson K NanoTek XS: KNANOXS model will be BBCOR certified.
Nick

Tyler
Is a 33 in 28 oz bat legal for a 12 year old to use in dixie youth? john
No this will not be legal for play in Dixie Youth. This barrel diameter is 2 5/8 and Dixie Youth requires a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter. Here is a link to an Anderson NanoTek that would be legal for play in Dixie Youth. http://www.justbats.com/product/2012-anderson-nanotek-xp--nanoxp10-youth/14559/
Tom
My son has been using an Anderson Techzilla for Little League - with great results. He loves the way the Techzilla feels. Is the Nanotek a reasonable 2-5/8" replacement for travel ball? sddad
Yes the 2012 Anderson NanoTek XT: KNANOXT would be a great option for your son. The performance of the two bats will be very similar, the main difference is that the NanoTek has composite handle and an aluminum barrel.
Tom
For a kid that is 13 and weighs 155 and is 5,10 should a 33in 28oz be the right size? Mitch
Based on your height, weight, and age, a 33" 28oz bat would be a great choice and should fit you perfectly.
Tyler
my son is 12 and has played LL and is on a U12 team - the U12 can use the big barrel bats - he is heading to cooperstown with his U12 team - the diamond is 50/70 vs. the LL diamond - do you think he'll have a hard time hitting with this bat? scotty
That all depends on his height, weight, strength, swing speed and the size bat he is currently using. Without that information, it would be very difficult for us to answer. You can either email us at support@justbats.com, or give us a call at 1-866-321-2287.

As a power hitter, what bat would be better for me the Anderson NanoTek XT or the DeMarini Voodoo 2012? evo
Both the Anderson NanoTek XT and the DeMarini Voodoo are two-piece designs. Generally for a power hitter we would recommend a bat with a one-piece design.

Yes. The Anderson Nano Tek XT has a low M.O.I. so it will have a balanced swing weight.

The general idea behind the Double-wall is to get more of a trampoline effect off the barrel. This should create more distance on your hits.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
