Description

Designed for power and durability, the RockeTech is THE bat to own if you're a softball enthusiast. Anderson's design and use of high performance materials deliver superior performance that will maintain a solid feel throughout the bat's life. This is due in part to the new all-metal, multi-wall alloy used on the RockeTech. Anderson abandons conventional thinking when it comes to the multi-wall by introducing Internal PowerArch Technology to the RockeTech. This technology incorporates an arched interior sleeve design to generate maximum legal performance and an optimized moment of inertia (M.O.I.). A lower M.O.I. llows players to swing faster, which results in more power behind every swing! The RockeTech also features a TaperFlex Contour and TrueFlex End Cap that both aid in vibration reduction. Both of these integral parts also strengthen the barrel and keep energy locked in. Holding it all together, Anderson's Grooved Assembly System locks and fortifies the shell, sleeve, and end cap, providing increased barrel elasticity and superior durability. With an ultra-thin whip handle, SG-I Sport Grip, and weldless ergonomic knob, the RockeTech feels better in your hands than any bat ever has. Anderson is so confident you'll love this bat, they've brought back their Proof is at the Plate program. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don't like it, simply send it back to us. Let Anderson prove themselves... you've got nothing to lose! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The RockeTech is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Pros: I have bought several other big $$$ bats with big names over the years for my daughters. No other brand has the POP that Anderson has. Balls just fly farther!

Cons: The knob on the end is much smaller than every other brand. I recommend buying the knob wrap from thier web site.

Pros: This bat is well worth it. Has wonderful pop out the box. My daughter is a power hitter and once used the synergy which she loved but now has chosen the rocket tech as her number one bat now. She is a 10 year old that has hit a 200 ft fence twice without a bounce I am sure that she will soon get it over with this bat. Thank you technology. I recommend for power hitters.

Pros: Really is an amazing bat! It gets a lot of air on the ball to send it right to the outfield! I really recommend it! No other bat can do just what this one does and that's from years of experience.

Pros: My daughter (Senior) loved the Rocketech. She had previously used the Nanotech and Easton Stealth throughout her high school career. She had used the 32/22 for both. She had no problems adjusting to the heavier feel of the end loaded Rocketech and that was despite the fact she moved up to a 34/23. She loves the feel and the way the ball jumps off her bat with a little more authority.

Cons: None

Pros: I am blessed with a 5' 11" 13 yr.old. Once she got used to an end loaded feel, it was on! 2012 ended with 13 over the fence, longest was 237 feet! Great bat! Long life, no break in time, not as affected by temps.

Cons: End loaded feel may feel heavy for starters. If you have to bunt, the player will have to know how to control placement or the ball will carry to infield quick!

Pros: Daughters first experience with rocketech was in 10u, She hit her first home run, over the fence. 5 years later she is on her 3rd rocketech. Last year she got ls xeno she liked the swing but she just couldn't get the pop so she went back to her Rocket tech. Just purchased her 3 rd. If you are a power hitter and on our team get the rocketech your slugger percentage is going up, if not on the team stay with the bat you have!

Pros: I got this bat for Christmas in 2012 and I love it! The ball goes way farther with this bat and it has more pop. I have hit more balls to the outfield than I have with my DeMarini.

Cons: It is a really heavy bat and you need to have a lot of strength to use this bat. Also if you don't hit it on the sweet spot then it really hurts your hands and the sweet spot is not very large.

did anderson change this bat from 2011.the pricesure went down from the past is the only reason i ask e
No, they have not changed anything on the bat. It's still the smoking hot bat it's always been. They are just keeping the prices down to help customers.
slp
How much wear and tear do the demo bats have? Griff
Each Demo bat is slightly different. Some only hit like 2-3 times. Some used about 50-100 hits. Our demos are priced according to condition.
lkh
Where do you show your demo bats for sale? Eric
On the left hand side of the website, there is a section called shop by deals. Click on Demo Bats and select the category you are searching for (fastpitch).
Kara
My daughter has use the RockeTech for 3 years - she is do for a new bat - should she stay with a new RockeTech or is the NanoTek better Tony
If she has has good luck with the RockeTech, I'd stay with what she feels most comfortable with.
lkh
Is the 2012 more end loaded than the 2011? I see where you said it is the same bat, but reviews on other sites say that the 2012 "feels" more endloaded than the 2011, even though I can't find anything stating that it truly is. Bulldog
To be honest, it is hardly noticeable. I've heard a few customers say it feels a little more end-loaded, but I've talked to others who say they haven't noticed a difference. Anderson says the weight distribution and balance should be close to the same.
Brett
My daughter tried a composite bat didn't have much luck she has a Easton aluminum bat does a lot better. Does this bat have the pop I'm looking for? She is 15 years old playing high school fast pitch. I think I want to stay with a metal bat what is your opinion? Batts
This will be a great aluminum bat with plenty of pop.
K.B.
how long and whats the weight on this bat julie
Depends on the length and weight you need. But it is a -9 length to weight ratio, for instance a 32" would be 23ounces.
LKH
we have been using the rocket tech bat since the 2nd one came out we have had really good luck with it but the 2011 just didnt hold up it kept getting dents on it will the 2012 hold up better? willy
I had never heard of that issue with the 2010 models. Anderson is an excellent company always striving to be better.
Linda
If I order this bat this week, do you think I will get it before Christmas? I live in Tampa, FL. Coach Rob
Yes. We ship very fast and orders arrive within 2-5 days.
KG
Rocketech or nanotech ? my daughter is 13 and a power hitter. not sure if she can handle a -9 bat. She is 5 foot 6 and 140lbs not sure which bat to choose. wendy woo
Really, both would be excellent. The deciding factor would come down to the weight she can handle. If you don't think she can handle the -9 then I would go with the Nano.
Linda
How does this one compare to the 2004 model? The '04 model was a very nice hot bat and lasted. A-Dog
They have not really changed much more than graphics in numerous years. Why alter what works?
Linda
Does Anderson still do the Proof Is At The plate offer? I did not see it on the Anderson website. Westwind
No, Anderson no longer offers the Proof At the Plate program anymore.
John
Does this bat need to be broken or can i use it as soon as i get it? Liv
This bat can be used as soon as you get it
John
What is the model # on this. I purchased a Model #017022 and is not listed on the approved bat list for NCAA Championships. Is this correct? George
The model number on this bat is KRKTFP. The one you purchased is the same as this bat.
KG
Is this bat succeptable to the same damage as a composite bat if used in a batting cage (with yellow dimple balls)? Curious Dad
Yes it is. Since it is an alloy bat, the heavier, more dense dimpled balls could cause your bat to dent and decrease the lifespan of your bat. If possible, I would suggest using a separate bat for use in the batting cage that is the same length and weight of your current bat to help protect the life of this bat.
Jennifer
How does it compare to the CF5 DeMarini? Estela
There are actually some considerable differences. The Rocketech is a one-piece alloy bat with a multi wall barrel. The CF5 is a two-piece all composite bat. Both are very high performing bats, but it depends on what type of hitter you are. A stronger power hitter may have more success with the Rocketech, where a player who's not as powerful may have better luck with the CF5.
Tyler
What is the model#.Daughter signed Nat Letter of Intent in Jan.Her old Rocketech is 3-4 years old.Want to get another one that is NCAA approved. Dave
The model number on this bat is #017022. This bat is approved and will be on the new updated approved NCAA list coming out soon.
Kris

Yes, this bat will be on the new list. This bat is approved for NCAA and High School.
Kris
This bat isn't showing up on the legal bat list for NCAA is that true or is it legal? I just bought it and I want to use it for college. Alana
The new NCAA approved list will be coming out March 15th. This bat will be on the new list and is approved for NCAA.
Kris
is it end loaded or balanced? jeremy
The KRKTFP is a balanced bat
Tyler
Is that bat currently legal for USSSA play in 2013? Fred
Yes. It has the new USSSA BPF 1.20 stamp. To see what it looks like, see the small product image to the right of the main image.
Tyler
My daughter is 14 5'11" about 120lbs. She is a power hitter. what size RockeTech do you recommend? koko

How does it hold up in colder weather? joe
It is really recommended not to use any bat in temperatures around 50 degrees or lower. However, since this bat is alloy it can withstand colder temperatures a little bit better than composite materials.
Jennifer
Is the bat end loaded? brian
The 2012 Anderson RockeTech is slightly end loaded.
Kara
How much does this 2012 version differ from the 2011? Rachel
The 2012 and 2011 RockeTech bats will be similar in material, design and weight distribution. Nothing has really changed.
Tyler
How does the 2012 bat differ from the 2007? sam
There have been a few minor changes. Since 2007, Anderson had upgraded the endcap to help reduce vibration and they have given it a new grip to help improve the overall feel.
Tyler
My daughter is 15 years old and is 5 ft. tall weighs 110 lbs. What bat size and weight do you recommend? Mae
Based on her height and weight, a 31 inch model would be recommended. Weight of the bat comes down to how strong she is, hitting style, and what size bat she is currently using. A weight around 21 ounces would be most common.
Tyler
WIll this bat be legal for the 2013 year? Does it have the stamp needed? Princess
Thank you for your question. The 2012 Anderson RockeTech FP does have the new USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp and the current ASA stamp as well. It will be legal in 2013.
Nick
Which would you recommend the Anderson RockeTech or NanoTek? My daughter is 6'1" and about 180lbs. hank
The Anderson RockeTeck and the Anderson NanoTek are both high performing and top of the line fastpitch softball bats. The suggested length for your daughter would be a 34" bat. They have a few main differences. Here is a link to further compare the two bats. http://www.justbats.com/compare/

My daughter is 14 and I am looking for a 32/23. She recently picked up a 2007 Rocketech at a tournament and was hitting bombs to the outfield. She loves it. What is the difference betweeen the 2007 and the new 2012? Melody
The 2012 Anderson Rocke Tech FP uses newer technology for more pop and decreased vibration.
Kara
HOW DOES 2012 COMPARE TO THE 2009 VERSION? Ky
The 2012 Anderson RockeTech FP: KRKTFP Fastpitch bat is going to very similar to the 2009 version, but it will be made from an upgraded multi-wall alloy and offer some new technology.
Nick D
can this bat be used in college. opie
Yes, the Anderson RockeTech FP is approved for college play.
Sean
My daughter likes balanced bats. Is this bat end loaded or balanced? If it's end loaded is it slightly or truly end-loaded. Coach Dad
The Anderson RckeTech is slightly end loaded.
Kara
Is the 2011 Rocketech also approved for NCAA play in 2013 and 2014? Abby
The 2011 Rocketech does not appear on any banned bat lists and should still be legal for NCAA play in the coming years.
Tyler
What is the differences between the RockeTech and the RocketFlex? Daughter is 10 years, 5'4", 125lbs. Strong, but not sure if she is ready to be swinging a -9. Will the RockeTech or RocketFlex be more suited for her? Release date for RocketFlex? TSR
The Anderson RockeTech FP is a fully aluminum bat, whereas the Anderson RocketFlex will be a two-piece bat with a composite handle and aluminum barrel. They will be released in November.
Tom
Other than graphics, what are other differences from the 2004 Rocket Tech? Judy
Every manufacture improves their technology every year. The Anderson RockeTech FP uses a new multi-wall technology for a more durable bat. It is also more balanced than the previous RockeTech's for a player who needs to increase their bat speed.

Do you guys make a two-piece, end-loaded, aluminum bat? If so, which is better; composite or aluminum? HGL
We only have two two-piece softball bats that have an alloy barrel and they are both hybrid designs with an alloy barrel and composite handle. They are the Anderson FlexZilla FP Fastpitch Softball Bat (FZFP) and the 2014 COMBAT Lisa Fernandez Hybrid Fastpitch Softball Bat (LFFP6112) and they are both balanced designs.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
