Description

The new Anderson TechZilla was created to help make the average ballplayer into great hitter! With this bat, Anderson has created a way for the average hitter to swing faster without sacrificing control. This starts with the one-piece all-metal alloy frame that has a balanced swing weight to help players swing evenly and in control. However, it's the multi-wall construction that makes this bat unique. Anderson abandons conventional thinking when it comes to the multi-wall by introducing Internal PowerArch Technology to the TechZilla. This technology incorporates an arched interior sleeve design to generate maximum legal performance and an optimized moment of inertia (MOI). An lower MOI allows players to swing faster, which results in more power behind every swing! The TechZilla also features a TaperFlex Contour and TrueFlex End Cap that both aid in vibration reduction. Both of these integral parts also strengthen the barrel and keep energy locked in. Holding it all together, Anderson's Grooved Assembly System locks and fortifies the shell, sleeve, and end cap, providing increased barrel elasticity and superior durability. With an ultra-thin whip handle, SG-I Sport Grip, and weldless ergonomic knob, the TechZilla feels better in your hands than any bat ever has. Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The TechZilla features the new ASA stamp and is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, and ISA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros:

Cons: Incredibly dissapointed. Had an old TechZilla that was solid bat. This bat has a plastic endcap and it feels like it collapses when you hit it...vibrates a ton. The old one was solid one piece metal with no plastic cap.

Pros: Out of the wrapper on a chilly night, i was driving the ball anywhere without any vibration at all.it just felt good in my hands. im givin it 4 stars only because it's early in season and im not sure how it will perform through out season. but for the very early part of season im real happy how it feels and performs. im pretty sure this bat will be the bat for me for awhile.

Cons: grip is a little thin for my tastes but gloves help that small quip.

Pros: Not a home run bat. But if you want clean base hits and gappers, this is a good choice.

Cons: The knob in the handle feels awkward.

Pros: I cannot put this bat down. I have had zero issues with vibrations on miss hits unlike some of the composites that I have swung. I usually swing 26oz bats and was pleasantly surprised how light the 27oz swings. Good construction and quality. It's always nice to swing metal and have the composite guys ask me what I'm swinging as if a metal bat shouldn't produce the way this bat does.

Cons: It does take some getting used to the relatively small sweet spot compared to most composite bats and has a small break in period to get the multiwalls working the way they need to to be effective.

Pros: We had another Techzilla on loan so this one was to replace that one and after some cage time and a double header it's proving to be a worthy successor to the borrowed bat. Only time will tell but so far so good.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Anderson TechZilla SP Slow Pitch Softball Bat: KTSP? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Anderson TechZilla vs DeMarini Steel, I want buy a metal bat, and wanna do a good choice. Please help me. BOMBER
Both are excellent bats. The Anderson TechZilla SP: KTSP is a one-piece alloy bat and will be stiffer and more balanced than the 2013 DeMarini Steel: DXWHI. The 2013 DeMarini Steel: DXWHI is a two-piece bats with an alloy barrel and a composite barrel and is slightly end loaded. The Anderson TechZilla SP: KTSP will be better suited for a player who needs to increase their bat speed.

The description says this is a multi-wall bat. Is this the same as a double-wall bat? Jeff
The Anderson TechZilla SP is a multi-wall bat and it uses very similar technology compared to a double wall bat. Performance will be very comparable.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
