AXE bat Richard Teran parent
Pros: Places my sons hand position as it should be. He is 12, but this is his first year in baseball. He tried some "regular" handled bats, but would "roll" his wrists too soon. We got this one in the mail - and immediately he understood the correct position. First game last night, got a real triple. Made contact and the bat just "popped" the ball over the center fielder's head! FUN!
Cons: Cannot think of one. For this price, I did not think we'd be this pleased.
So far so good Jason parent
Pros: Great Value, My son hits the ball well with the bat and the ball seems to have good pop coming off the bat. Shipped quick
Cons: none, haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up, but I'm not anticipating any problems.
AXE L139A - Nice. Richard Teran parent
Pros: Grip - My son is a beginning baseball player. The grip places his hands naturally where they need to be for solid contact. He says he doesn't like "regular" bats at all now.
Cons: If he "lunges" at the pitch, he gets his hands rolled over and hitting the ball outside of the "hitting zone" and it stings.

About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
