Description

If you've never heard of the patented Axe handle, you're missing out. The revolutionary design is exactly what it sounds like. The handle of an Axe bat is designed like the handle of an actual axe to provide optimal control and grip of the bat. This asymmetrical handle is biomechanically engineered for a flush fit and assists in keeping a hitter on the correct swing plane. As a result, players get better barrel accuracy and a decreased risk of injury and hand fatigue. The Axe Elite features a two-piece design with Plus Plus Composite Handle and an LP Scandium Alloy Barrel. The LP, or Longitudinal Performance, Alloy is enhanced aluminum that is designed to lengthen the sweet spot and increase durability, especially for one-sided hitting. The Axe Elite also features an evenly balanced swing weight with optimum flex to give players maximum bat speed and massive trampoline effect on impact. Axe is so sure you'll love this bat, they are offering a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. If for some reason the Axe is not for you, just send it back to them... no questions asked. With maximum legal performance, wider and more forgiving sweet spots, outstanding durability, and a performance guarantee, there is no reason not to give the new Axe Elite bat a shot! Axe: Unleash Your Swing! The Axe Elite is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Pros: Great concept... my son loved how it felt to swing

Cons: The ball sounded strange leaving the bat from day one. During batting practice the top half of the bat separated from the handle and just slides up and down rendering it unusable

hittin better

Pros: Boutght this bat for my son at the end of the 2012 spring season where he struggled. Once we put this bat in his hands, he has begun to hit the ball better than ever while playing travel fall ball, and rec league fall ball.

Cons: None so far, very pleased.

My question is about the barrel. From the looks of the picture the barrel looks like it tapers like a big barrel bat. Is this picture misleading? Is the barrel shape the same as the Element or does it taper different? If you compare the pictures of the L134 and the Element you can see the barrels are different. Is the picture wrong or are they the same size and shape barrel? Dan
The barrels on the Baden AXE Elite and the Baden AXE Element are different. The Element is a one piece bat and has an extended barrel design which does taper differently than the Elite.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
