When compared to the Marucci Chase Utley (CU26), the CB271 will feel a little more end loaded. However, it can comfortably be used by contact or power hitters; with the slightly end loaded swing weight. The Chandler Pro Maple Wood Bat (CB271) and the Chandler Pro Maple Wood Bat (D24) will have the same handle thickness with a 15/16ths inch handle diameter. The D24 will have a slightly smaller knob.
