Pros: i just got the CF5 and it has a lot of pop. Its the BEST bat i've ever had! When you hit the sweet spot, the ball goes flying! I love this bat! Its worth $300 totally. The grip is so awesome! I have a 32in 24oz and it feels just like my 31in 20oz. It feels so smooth when i swing it. BUY IT!!!!!!!!
Cons: none, buy this bat before its out of stock!
Pros: Absolutely the best bat I have ever used. DeMarini is an amazing company with an amazing product. Buy the bat!
Cons: The graphics are so nice you almost hate to use it, almost.
Pros: Big Sweet Spot, Ball jumps off the bat.
Cons: None
Pros: Great Grip. Don't get blisters anymore. Came from a TPX H2. Lots of pop. You can literally feel the trampoline effect on the bat. You are launching the ball, not hitting it. Half and half Doesn't have any sting AT ALL. Best bat I've ever had.
Cons: None
Pros: This bat is the next step up from the DeMarini 2012, in my opinion. It's legal for use in Travel Ball, so my son can use it, and he's hitting bombs left and right with it. He's been swinging the Voodoo 2k12, and just got this bat, its great! Reduced sting, barely any infact. The sweet spot is supberb and lets you know when you hit it. Get this bat. The 300 bucks is worth it. Any bat with this star quality, is worth it!
Cons: NONE! Good job DeMarini!
Pros: NONE
Cons: This Bat is bad. I was swinging it in my batting cage and it was probably 30 degrees but the whole frekin bat broke. DONT BUY!!!!
Pros: its good i gues not alot of pop!
Cons: horrible no pop uneven weight overall bad
Pros: great pop awesome look weight ratio feels superb
Cons: none

Cons: none... DeMarini did a great job!!
Pros: Bat is great you do not use any bat in 30 degrees to cold will jack up the bat duh if your looking for a great bat this is it
Cons: None
Pros: None bought it day it came out cuz I had cf4 st and loved it but this bat is awful has no pop terribly balanced worst bat ever
Cons: Everything
Pros: I just bought the bat and i have already hit 7 homeruns in my 4 game travelball tournament. It has great pop!
Cons: its not hot out of the wrapper you need to break it in
Pros: U13 Tournament player. Just bought the bat recently. Love the grip, balance and pop. Best bat I have ever had.
Cons: none yet
Pros: Outstanding bat. Got it for my son who plays 13U travel ball. Right out of the box he was hitting BB's into the outfield. Used Easton Speed last year and it does not come close to this bat, can't wait to see it in action in tournaments.
Cons: I've heard the USSSA marking will rub off after extended use. Only time will tell.
Pros: Everything. The pop is crazy. The bat feels lighter than its weight. Balanced. Must get.
Cons: NONE
Pros: this bat is so awesome.talk about pop.and the looks of this bat are very goob. i love how it sounds and feels when you hit with it.this bat is not worth $300 it is worth $100,000,000
Cons: none at all,i will get DEMARINI BATS MORE THEN EASTON NOW, O and one more thing GO CF5
Pros: This is a good bat with a great sized sweet spot. If you ever get the ball in the middle of the sweet spot it will be a home run. I hit my first home run with this bat.
Cons: Every time you hit the ball it stings even if you have batting gloves on. The only time it doesn't sting is if you hit it in the exact center of the sweet spot.
Pros: I am 12 years old and playing travel baseball. My first two hits were grand slams off of a 230ft fence!!! This bat has great pop off of the bat!!! I love it!!!
Cons: None at all!!!
Pros: I love this bat it has the usssa stamp.Plus it has awsome pop. I have hit three tripples and tons of doubles with the bat.
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat, it feels like its part of you when you make contact. Huge sweet spot with lots of pop.
Cons: Price
Pros: i think that this is a good bat to use for baseball
Cons:
Pros: This is an amazing bat great pop, well balanced but not like louisville slugger would recommend this bat to anyone that plays baseball contact hitters or power hitters this is a good bat for every one.
Cons: It has some sting if hit close to the handle but all bats do I would like to see one that doesnt.Only thing is that on my first pitch we smeared the usssa mark and we broke it in now we figured out that we have to send it in and get a new one
Pros: ok pop, good balance
Cons: long break in time, cost, we got the tpx vertex and it has a lot better pop and cheaper
Pros: This is probably the best bat I have ever swung. This year, I have swung an Easton XL3, A Marucci Black, and an Easton XL1 and this by far is the best. Buy this bat. You will not regret it!
Cons: None
Pros: great bat great pop I hit 34 homers this season in u12
Cons:
Pros: Replaced a Surge that broke in half after 10 games with the CF5. 1st impression is it feels like knife thru butter when hitting the sweat spot. Expect even more when it's broken in. Don't mistake this bats lack of feedback for lack of power. It's great.
Cons: Could not get at Justbats, out of 31" 23oz. Had to go to Dick's, Ugh.
Pros: Update. Have used the CF5 in 7 games now. Way better than the Surge that broke. Great grip. Hits going further, faster than before. Hit a 220' opposite field shot last weekend. Never done that before. Has not stung once.
Cons: Finnish is easy to scratch, even chip.
Pros: great pop, and no jamming of the hands. The ball flys of the bat, and great weight distribution.
Cons: the grip comes off easily, and the bat scratches vert easily
Pros: awesome bat
Cons:
Pros: grip.
Cons: ok, first of all this bat is nowhere near balanced it seems like 20 of the 23 ounces this bat has are in a little bunch at the end of the bat, second this is the most popless bat dm has ever made and it took at least 350-400 swings too break in and not much of a difference btw .im sorry demarini but this time, you messed up, hopin 2013 is better but im not takin that chance of buying, advantage CF4!!!!!
Pros: i am a big home run hitter and this bat feels like a nuclear explosion at the barrel last year i hit 3 homers then this year with the cf5 i hit 12.
Cons: none demarini knows how to put swagg in baseball.
Pros: Every time i have used the bat i have gotten on baseball. I cant stop hitting the ball. The grip is really nice and comfortable . Buy it right away.
Cons:
Pros: ive hit 9 home runs in my season
Cons:
Pros: Great pop ever since i got this bat im batting .436 with 15 RBI'S WITH 1 HOMERUN IF YOUR A CONTACT AND A POWER HITTER THAN THIS BAT IS FOR YOU
Cons: NOTHING

Cons:

Cons: None
Pros: very light huge sweetspot cool design alot of pop
Cons: the paint chips
Pros: Love this thing! The firt time I used it I hit a shot over the centerfielders head! Great bat good sweet spot and good length to weight ratio!
Cons: The grip is a little weird. It is bigger at the stub. But that surely does not effect the pop! BUY THIS BAT!
Pros: This bat is amazing I don't get how they can make a bat this good. I already have 5 homeruns with this bat. It is the best bat ever!!!
Cons:
Pros: THIS BAT IS VERY AMAZING CRAZY POP HIT 2 HR IN SAME GAME WITH THIS BAT ALL OF U GUYS SHOULD BUY THIS BAT
Cons:
Pros: this bat is a FANTASTIC BAT, out of the wrapper pretty hot, believe me but when you break it in the ball will definitely FLY!! i took about 2 buckets of BP and thos bat was hitting about 280 right about where the DEM is in DEMARINI. but when its hit on the sweet spot and you have a lot of power the ball will absolutely FLY! i recomend this bat to contact/power hitters
Cons: grip is really tough use batting gloves weight is not 24 ov maybe about 25 but a great bat........................ i am not associated or work for DEMARINI at all.
Pros: i have been using this bat for about a week and am semi inpressed. It has pop when hit perfectly on the sweetspot.
Cons: not good for a power hitter. i prefer my xl1
Pros: Just bought for 12 yr old son. So far all things look good. Ball comes off the bat very well. Bought this and marucci blk. Previous bats: prodigy,cf4, easton stealth, mattingly the beast, combat b1,b2,b3. As I said above ball comes off the bat very well better than most of the above bats. Demarini makes a great products.
Cons: None so far but only have used it in 2 practices. Do not anticipate any. Not worried about paint chipping if and when it does happen, it's a bat that hits a ball and gets thrown on the ground and tossed in bat bags. Hope this helps. Definitely would recommend this bat to anyone.
Pros: FREAKY BAT TONS OF POP THE BEST BAT IN THE WORLD FOR CONTACT OR POWER HITTERS
Cons: ZERO
Pros: The bat has good balance and no sting. Has a good handle.
Cons: This bat has the worst pop of any bat ive used. It only has pop if you hit it at a very precise spot. I have been a fan of the cf series until now. I had the cf4 and the cf3 before that. Both of those had good pop. Demarini screwdriver up with this bat
Pros: What a bat this is very great bat lots of pop flex a HUGE barrel very light Awesome handle EVERYONE SHOULD BUYS THIS bat
Cons:
Pros: awesome about hit ball into river.
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat, it feels very light no matter what weight you get, and i like the design on the bat
Cons:
Pros: once bat is broke in it has termendous pop. super large sweet spot. keeps getting better and better.
Cons: takes alot of hits to brake the bat it. composite material hard as concrete.
Pros: Very good pop, no sting, looks good.......my son has only used in practice so far so we will use and then update! So far so good!
Cons:
Pros: great balance nice grip great pop
Cons: can only use it one year
Pros: Like the design of the top of the bat.
Cons:
Pros: great pop
Cons: takes to long to break in
Pros:
Cons: Demarini, worse company ever. As a coach my team had 2 of these bats. Both bats split and were thrown out of 2 different games. Demarini will not stand behind their product. I would never recommend this bat to anyone.
Pros: This bat is a good bat out of the wrapper. Hit a home run first at bat with it. Decent bat. I recommend this bat to someone who is looking to get about a half of a season bat.
Cons: A lot of people like to use, which causes your bat to die. This bat's pop wears down really quick.
Pros: Great bat for the price. My son loves it. Great sweeet spot. Also, the bat arrived 2 days before it was expected.
Cons: None
Pros: It was the one my son wanted. Price was half of retail sporting goods store.
Cons: None.
Pros: Everything love it
Cons:
Pros: price
Cons: keep it that price, so you'd sell more???
Pros: Balanced with a huge sweet spot. Hottest non BBcor bat period. Easton doesn't touch it. Demarini hits another Bomb with this CF5
Cons: N/A
Pros: Everything.

Pros:
Cons:
Pros: this bat has a great pop this year i am going 39 for 42 with this bat
Cons: noway
Pros: Large sweet spot and if you hit it there, the ball will FLY! Durable, I've had this bat for a year and a half and it still is in great condition.
Cons: The grip is slippery and it feels heavy.
Pros: Amazing pop the first day I got it. It never had any vibration ever.
Cons: After one season the pop disappeared. So this is a one year bar.
Pros: just used it first time and i hit my first 3 run HR 220 FT great bat best i ever had get it when u can...
Cons: gets scratchy fast but hey its a bat not a painting
Pros: none its the worst bat ever
Cons: bad vibtration bad flex cracked it after 2 weeks get the easton Mako
Pros: definitely the best bat I've ever owned hands down no questions asked. The pop off of this bat is just ridiculous, the CF Demarini series is the best in my opinion. Using all kind of bats, I can say in my personal opinion Demarini is the best. I've also owned various Vexxum models which are also hands down.
Cons: Honestly, couldn't find any after a year of use
Pros: great bat @ a great price
Cons: none
Pros: this is a good bat, not great. its got a big sweet spot with great pop. i truly believe tgat this double wall construction is not bs, cause it just feels better than other 2 piece demarini bats.
Cons: not worth 129. i would spend a couple extra dollars to get the white cf5. that bat is sick!
Pros: Nice feel, doesn't feel much heavier than a -10. Nice 'pop'. With the Zen being banned, I reached back in the archive to pull this puppy out. End cap is my son's favorite aesthetic aspect of the bat.
Cons: None of note at this point. Might be a little heavy still for a 10 year old. Good transition bat later.

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
