Pros: Excellent feel and control, stiffer barrel than the CF6 and better pop -- ball jumps of the barrel. RCK knob is very comfortable. Very balanced bat, excellent bat speed, perfect for a line-drive hitter -- hits lasers all over the field and can launch balls over any fence.
Cons: Expensive, but we tried several of the 2015 bats from the biggest manufacturers, and in our opinion the CF7 is the best performance balanced bat for 2015 bar none.
Pros: just out of the rapper my 10 yr. old hit 1 over and about 16 1 hoppers to the fence and line drives every where out of 60 balls he loves this bat used the combat portent this season and this bat is far better, very balanced bat for power and line drives
Cons: too soon to tell if it will hold up that's all
Pros: Hot looking bat!! My 10 year old son loves it. After watching my son swing his 2014 Make 28 inch I thought maybe his new 29 inch CF7 was going to be too big. I was wrong! It looks as though his bat speed has increased. I cant wait till we see his hitting coach next week to see the speed in which the ball comes off the bat. The SwingAway in our basement is getting a workout!!!!
Cons: Price
Pros: Bat has an amazing swing weight, and feel. Great pop and amazing balance makes the bat feel much lighter than it actually is. On a scale of 1-10 the bat is an 11 in terms of performance. I love the bat and it's performance and so does my kid. As with any good bat the durability is compromised for the pop out of the wrapper.
Cons: My kid broke it in under 100 swings in 78 degree weather, and he is an average 10 year old (74lbs) and has an average swing. Have seen at least 6 other bats exact same model (2 3/4 inch barrel) break the exact same way just as quickly. Called Demarini and made them aware of the problem, and the girl acted like she had never heard of such a problem. The warranty only allows one return of the bat, and this scares me since the bat has problems.
Pros: Looks good.
Cons: My son and one of the 12year olds on his team purchased the same CF 7, one month later they both cracked. The bat was always kept warm and never abused. DeMarini replaced it after we shipped it to them, no problem. You guessed it, less than a month later the replacement cracked. As you know or should know DeMarini gives you one replacement and then you they are done with you. So $350.00 later and no bat I am done with DeMarini, sorry guys you have produced a poor quality bat and should step up to the plate with a credit for such a pathetic product.
Pros: Great pop Instantly. Great feel and balance.
Cons: Several people I know have had durability issues. So far no problems with this one.
Pros: Balanced.
Cons: Not anywhere close to the new CF7 -5 Model which is the only reason I bought the bat. That bat has a distinctive sound and the balls rocket off it. This bat is no different than the CF6, which was no different than the CF5. Just different paint jobs. And, not attractive paint jobs either. No style, no pop. Well, unless you count that $350 price tag. Demarini seems to goose certain models / weights of their bat, but it's all bait and switch. At least for our $700 we have one good bat. It could be worse.
Pros: its an alright bat spectacular ballace
Cons: tiny sweet spot not a lot of pop
Pros: I have twin 10 yr old boys who play u trip ball. We like this bat because of the balanced feel. They have used the mako. It is a good bat but feels end loaded. My boys r able to control this bat without losing bat speed thus the ball comes off of the bat alot harder.
Cons: have not had bat long so do not know about durability. other demarini bats seem to be very durable though.
Pros: tons of pop, very balanced for any type of hitter, the barrel feels great going thru the zone and balls fly off it. i saw the reviews say it cracks easy, but i have well above average strength and bat speed and no problems with any cracks
Cons: a little bit expensive and the break in period was a little longer than i wanted to be. expect to replace the grip after a few seasons.
Pros: Price. No vibration. Hot bat.
Cons: None
Pros: We bought this bat at the end of summer 2015. It has loads of power and my son's slugging went way up in fall-ball and he loved the bat.
Cons: In February of 2016, during indoor winter workouts in a facility kept at 70 degrees the bat cracked on the sweetspot of the barrel. We sent it back and are waiting DeMarini to ship us a new one under warranty.

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
