Description

The new CV12 showcases Easton's industry leading innovation at it's finest. The CV12 is no ordinary aluminum or composite bat. It's both, all the way through. This one-piece design starts out with a lightweight IMX Composite inner tube. The IMX or Integrated Matrix Technology strengthens and optimizes the composite structure, giving you a bat with extraordinary performance and extreme durability. This composite inner tube is then fitted with an ultra thin high performance aluminum shell. The shell of the CV12 uses Easton's all new THT100 Alloy. This exclusive new alloy has 100ksi strength and extraordinary toughness for superior dent and crack resistence. The CV12 is constructed using Easton's SST Technology which utilizes a one-piece barrel design with increased balance and control while increasing the trampoline effect of the extended sweetspot. Make no mistake, this is a pure hitter's bat. Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference. The CV12 is backed by Easton's Exclusive 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Hitting Coach

Pros: Because of the new Little League rules we had to move away from our Miken Heat and into a metal bat. The CV12 is the solution to composites. This bat is wonderful and my son has not skipped a beat at putting balls over the fence.

Cons: We have only had the bat a few weeks and have found nothing wrong.

is this bat approved for little league jay-dog
This bat is all alloy and it is legal for Little League play.
Jeff
is it composite josh
It has a composite inner wall, but the actual hitting surface is all alloy.
Jeff
Yes & No. This one piece bat has a lighweight IMX Composite inner tube, and THT100 Alloy shell.
Bodie
My son is 5'6" and 125 pounds. I am wondering if this bat would be too heavy? He will need a 32" Last year he swung a 31" and 19 ounce bat with power but he is about 4" taller and 15 pounds heavier and much stronger this year. Also do you feel this bat hits more like a composite or aluminum. Kinda confused on the design of this but my son is interested in it. j
Sounds like he would be just fine with a 31" 21 oz bat. Maybe take him to a local sporting goods store to take a few dry swings with a 21 ounce bat to see if he's comfortable with it. The hitting surface of this bat is aluminum (alloy), with a internal composite tube or sleeve, it will sound like an aluminum bat, but it will perform great for an alloy bat.
Jeff
it says it is not approved for little league so why did the experts say it was? And will it be legal for the years to come because of the new rules. the man
Im not sure why the experts said that. The LCG1 is a composite bat with an outer alloy shell. It is not appoved by Little League. I doubt Little League will ever allow it.
Mark
will you be able to use this bat in usssa 10 and under aussie
This bat does not have the USSSA stamp on the bat. All bats for next year in USSSA will need to have the 1.15 BPF and USSSA stamp on the barrel of the bat.
Brett
which is better easton cv12 or the easton rival bigdog
This bat will have more "pop" due to the composite inner tube. However make sure you can use this bat in your league. This bat is not approved for Little League.
Kris
is it approved if my son is 11 scott
If he is following Little League, then no this bat would not be approved.
John

My son is 5"2 100 pounds would this bat be to heavy if i got him a 31" 21oz? 3ball
That size would fit him well and should not be too heavy.
