Description

Easton truly believes that every player should have the opportunity to hit for power. However, the road to power hitting is different for every player. Some players need extra bat speed to reach their full power potential, while others need more weight and a bigger barrel. That's why Easton is changing the game this season and taking an approach to bats that no other manufacturer has ever tried before. Introducing the POWER Brigade; Two series, one distinct result. Whether you prefer the fast swinging Speed Series or the heavier extended barrel XL Series, POWER will be your outcome. Forget flashy designs and gimmicky names, these bats produce RESULTS. The Speed Series (S1, S2, S3) features the lowest Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.) on the market to create light swing weights and generate more power. On the other side of the spectrum, the XL Series (XL1, XL2, XL3) features extra long barrels designed to give players expanded hitting zones and more mass in the barrel, generating more power in every swing. Easton really does strive to fulfill the preferences of any type of player as both series come in two-piece IMX Composite designs (S1 and XL1), two-piece IMX Composite/THT100 Aluminum hybrid designs (S2 and XL2), and one-piece THT100 Aluminum designs (S3 and XL3). As for the materials, Easton's patented IMX Composite has proven to be one of the highest performing materials in the game year after year, while THT100 Aluminum provides superior dent and crack resistance. Throw in an array of additional world-class Easton technology and you have a new line of bats that is second to none. Easton: We Believe In Power! This bat features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is approved for play in and beyond. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: My 7 year old was swing a 2 1/4 inch barrel bat the previous 3 seasons. A recent practice was the first time he got to use this bat (27/17) outside of the cage. Out of 15 hits he was given, he put about 10 in the outfield. He was strictly a ground ball hitter previous years, I'm seeing much more power with this bat. Another year of growth has something to do with it, but the 2 5/8 inch barrel has a lot to do with it as well. During All Stars last year he used another kids 2 3/4 inch bat during a practice and drove the ball well. The bigger barrel just allows for more bat to be placed on the ball allow him to drive it.

Texas Aggie 93

Pros: My son Jake switched to this bat from his Easton S3 "big barrell" because his 8U summer league mandates 2 5/8" bats. He is a tall, big framed boy and swings the 29" size. Well balanced allowing him to bring his hands through fast on inside pitches... this is not end loaded slow pitch bat. Jake says "it's awesome" because he homered in his first tournament using it. The bat has good pop. The grip is sized right for boys 8-10 years old. No issues with denting after 20 games and many batting practices. Big sweet spot. May not matter to some, but the finish on the bat looks good... classic appearance. Looks tough. Easton has long been the top choice in my house. I still have my "black magic" from the 1980's.

Cons: none. A good hitter makes the bat. My son is confident at the plate with this bat and we recommend it without question.

It went over the wall, folks! The very first contact! It was unbelieveable, and awesome. This bat has great balance and great pop right out of the box. Worth the money, definitely.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL11S310? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

how does this compare to the rival same alloy anything else rivalman
I believe the S3 is going to be a more durable bat, and is one that is tailored for your speed hitters
Derek
I just recieved this bat from Easton after my 9yr old dented the Rival in about 2 months. Is this bat comparable? The ball just exploded off of the rival. Tom
Yes, this will be the replacement to that Rival.
John
My sons 9u team just got 3 of the senior league S3 bats for team use, and they seem to be very good. Would it help my boy (50 inchs, 60 lbs, contact hitter, medium swing speed) to by a S2 or S1 and if so which one. jtmjw
The S2 might be a good match for him. The low MOI gives faster bat speeds, the alloy barrel gives immediate pop, it's nicely balanced.
Linda
I need to know if the S3 is a one piece bat? Looking for a replacement for last year's 31" yellow Easton Rival senior league.. Lynn
Yes, the S3 is a one piece all alloy design.
Linda
My 10 year old son used the surge last year and looking at an s2 or s3 for this year. He is a good contact hitter and we are looking for something with a lot of pop off the bat. We play under usssa rules and need that stamp on the bat. Which is the better bat for him? Thanks Brad
The S2 has replaced the Surge. If he liked the Surge I would check out the S2. That bat will have good pop and will be very durable.
KG
My son is 8, 4'6 and weighs 90 lbs. He's been swinging the orange rival 27/17, but it is too small now. Big kid, but moderate bate speed. Which bat would you recommend for him and what size? I would prefer a 2 3/4 in barrel. Marc
Excellent choice with this one then! I would feel comfortable with him moving up to the 28-18 with this bat.
Linda
help me understand why these bats are labeled Senior League, yet listed as Youth Big Barrel mlb
Basically the terminology "Senior league" is supposed to mean the exact same as youth big barrel. But because the word senior threw so many people off as they searched we list both ways to help people be able to search easier.
Linda
Does the s3 have the lightest swing weight of the three (s1, s2,s3)? Ed
The S3 is going to have the lightest swing weight.
K.B.
My son is 7yr old(4'4,77 lbs)contact hitter, medium swing speed, has strength.Which bat and size you recomend? danny
Based on his height and weight, a 28 inch 18 ounce bat would be recommended. However, if he is a little stronger than average a 29 inch 19 ounce bat may be a better option.
TJ
I am trying to purchase a bat for my 8 year old son who is bigger than most of the boys his age and a power hitter on his team. My son likes the feel of a Rawlings Alloy 5150, however, I am more familiar with the Easton S-3 as my older son used a Rival last spring. Is there a big difference between an Easton S3 -10 and a Rawlings 5150 Alloy -10 and which would you recommend for a "larger than average" eight year old. Billy Bob
Generally speaking, strong power hitters prefer one piece bats. So the 5150 and the S3 are of the same design that way. Both will give you the immediate pop, and nice balance.
Linda
Is the S3 going to have the same massive sweet spot as the BD11XL, considering they are both 30"? ck
Yes, the S3 is going to have a very large sweet spot
Sean
What are the major differences in the S1,2 & 3. Looking for my son playing 12U in 2012. 5'0" 105lbs. Also been using 30" Easton SV12, best way to determine length of new bat? Debating staying at 30" or 31". THANKS Baldy99
The S1 is going to be a full composite design, the S2 is going to have an alloy barrel and a composite handle and the S3 is a full alloy
Sean
What are the key determining factors that should be taken in consideration when chosing between the 2 5/8 and 2 3/4 inch Easton S3 Senior League Power Brigade bats? batboy
2 3/4 inch barrels will have a bigger sweet spot. If your league allows 2 3/4 inch barrels, I would use it.
K.B.
What's the difference between this bat and the BD11XL? considering the bat is 30" is the sweet spot the same as the BD11XL and BD10XL ? FK
The S3 is made of a different alloy, it also has the Connexion technology. It is a -10 opposed to the -9 of the Rival.
Linda
So comparing this years replacement of the S3 or the SL11x39, a XL3 2 5/8 version to the very popular Rival XXL 30/20 2 3/4 from last year. Rival was hot bat and yes could get dinged up. For a 2 5/8 version, of either the S3 or XL3 - what is closer to what the Rival XXL from last year was like? aj
The S3 is going to perform like the Rival. The Easton XL3: SL11X39 is going to be an end loaded version of the Rival.
Kara
My son is 7 1/2 yrs old. 51" and 55lbs. Is this bat too heavy/big for him? jeff
Same with this one, as with the Voodoo, it is a -10, which if he is a strong 7 1/2 yr old, would work. If you feel he needs a lighter bat because he is so young, look at the Louisville Slugger Triton SL12T
Linda
I bought my son a 28/18 easton S1 composite bat. Which is better the s1 or the s3? little slugger
The S1 will have a little more pop because it is all composite. However, it will take some time to break in. The S3 has good pop right out of the wrapper.
K.B.
I have a 10 yr old son. He uses a Easton Rival XXL 29/19 2/three Quarters Barrel. Is this Bat a good fit? Go Red Sox
Yes, the S3 is the closest to the Rival.
Linda
My son is more of a speed/contact hitter, and we are from Kansas so the weather is cool when we start in spring, and very hot by the end of the season. Which of the Easton bats would be best, the composite or the aluminum? MikeR
As far as the weather issue, composites you have to be a little more careful with in temps below 60 Degrees. Alloy is better for cooler weather, but still can become brittle in TOO cold of weather.
Linda
Aluminum usually holds up better than composite in cooler weather. But with composite as long as you store it at room temperature and break it in properly composite would probably be fine.
Shelbe
What kind of balance and handle stiffness does this have? Evenly balanced or end-loaded? Indyball
This is an evenly balanced bat. If you want an end-loaded feel, look at the XL3. This is a one-piece bat with a moderate to stiff handle flex.
TJ
For a 7yr old, 4'4"and 77lbs. Good bat speed and strength. Looking for more contact. Length/Weight (2 5/8) Recomendation between Easton S3,XL3 and CF5. Dany
All three are good choices. The S3 and XL3 are going to be both one piece all alloy bats, good for power hitters. The XL3 is end loaded.
K.B.
what's the primary difference between s1 and s3? How would you decide which one is best for your 10 yr old son? jerry
The S3 is all alloy and that the S1 is an all composite bat. Composite bats tend to be more expensive due to the better materials. The S1 will give the batter more pop over time as the bat breaks in. The S3 has an alloy barrel which means it is game ready and will not require a break in. Alloy barrel bats tend to have a lighter feel to them which makes for faster swings.
KG
My son is 11-year-old boy who is 5 foot 2 and weighs 116. Do you think Easton S3: SL11S310 Senior League would be suitable for him? maymay
Yes. The S3 is a one piece alloy bat, perfect for stronger players.
K.B.
I am looking at this for my 9yr old (103 lb, 4'11"). The V12 (28/18) I bought last year is getting dented. Will this be a bat to last him more than 1 year? thomas
Yes, this will offer more in the way of durability. If the V12 you have is within the warranty time, you can send it back to Easton for a warranty replacement. If you have questions on the process, just give our reps a call, they will walk you through it.
Linda
What is the difference in this bat and the Easton S3: SL11S310B Senior League? Doug
This bat is going to have a 2 5/8" barrel, the SL11S310B has a 2 3/4" barrel
Sean
We are shopping for a new bat with the USSSA stamp my son seems to love this bat he currently has a tpx triton x3 29/19 -10oz he's never had an easton so I'm a bit unsure on this bat? Baseball mom
This bat is going to have a lot of pop and a very balanced feel, it should be similar in feel to the triton
Sean
What is the difference between the SL11S310 and the SL11S310B bats, other than the handel transation color? TNT
The one with the B behind it is a 2 3/4" barrel the one without it is a 2 5/8" barrel.
Linda
I have a 8 yr. old power hitter, he used a 28/18 Rival last season and did very well. This season, I'm looking to get a 29/19. My question is , is the S3 made just like the Rival with the same pop? Also which bat has more pop the S3 or the Combat B3 composite ? JP
The S3 is similar to the Rival, only the S3 has a slightly lower swing weight, and your son should see an increase in swing speed. Based on customer feedback, both are great performing bats. I would give a slight edge to the B3 though in terms of pop, but not by much.
TJ
Other than the size of the barrell what is the difference between this bat SL11S310 and the SL11S310B? Also, what is the difference between these two bats and a "Junior" Big Barrell bat of the same size say 28/18? Thanks! Tim
The barrel size is the only difference between the two bats. The Junior Big Barrel bat is designed only for players in Coach Pitch leagues.
Kara
Is the S3 approved for PONY ball? I know it has the USSSA i.15 but does it have to say "Approved for PONY Ball"? JRD
Yes, it is approved for Pony baseball. Only 2 1/4 inch barrels require the barrel to say "Approved for play in Pony Baseball".
Kara
My son plays 10u, is 4' 10", 90 lbs and mostly a contact hitter with a little power. Which is better suited for him, the S1, S2 or S3 for senior league? Weather temperature is not an issue. Wolfpack
One piece bats like the S3 are good for power hitters because they are stiffer. The S1 and S2 are going to provide more flex. The S1 is all composite and will have a little more pop but it will take time to break in.
KB
How would you compare this bat with the LS Omaha SL126? ndirish
This bat will be very similar. The both are a one piece bat and have alloy barrels. The sweet spots will be very large and they will have tons of pop.
KG
They are both one piece alloy bats, so it terms of construction they are comparable.
Shelbe
Does the S3 and S2 have the same barrel length? If yes, is the difference b/t the 2 bats is the 2-piece construction of the S2? Would the S2 be better for a contact hitter with some power vs the S3? vs
Yes, that is correct. The difference is the two piece design (S2) and the one piece design (S3). They will have feature the same alloy barrel and same sweet spot.
John
My son is about 5' and 120, slower hands, looking for a line up of bats that we can use for our entire 9U team. Would love some feedback on this lineup from Easton Steve
The Easton Speed Series is a great option these are going to be all well balanced bats with a lighter swing weight.
Derek
My son plays pony baseball and it says on the PONY website that he has to have a bat stamped "approved for play in PONY baseball." Most of the 2 5/8" bats I see DO NOT have this stamp on them. Will you have bats with this stamp on them available closer to baseball season.? Rodric Johnson
Only 2 1/4 inch barrels have to have the bat stamped "approved for play in PONY baseball." Any 2 5/8 inch barrels can be used in PONY.
Kara
My son is 13 and this will be his last year he can use a drop 10 bat. He is 62" and 110 pounds last year he used 30" but we need new USSSA for this season. He is good hitter and pretty strong only needs bat to last this one year. What would you suggest I though 31" Scott
Thank you for your question. I would suggest swinging a 31" or 32" bat. If this is going to be his last year using a -10 then it might be a good idea to have him swing a little bigger bat as a transition to the next bat size.
Nick
Trying to decide between the 2 5/8 and 2 3/4. Both are o.k. for USSSA, but is the 2 3/4 more likely to dent? I'm guessing it has thinner walls. BobC
The wall thickness will be very similar. These bats have very durable barrels and they will not dent quickly.
KG
Anyone having denting problems with this bat? Steve
We have not heard any issues more than any other alloy barrel bat. This bat does come with a full 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
John
why does the s3 feel so much heavier than the rival if they are the same bat? bombs away
They made the S3 a little more durable this year so its not going to dent has easy as the Rival. Also, it is going to feel weighted more in the handle
Ryan
Does this bat have a "massive sweet spot" like the rival, speed, and omen. Also would you say this is a better bat than the deMarini vexum. awesome
This has a very large sweet spot and a very durable barrel. This bat is replacing the Rival and will be more durable this year.
KG
What do you think is a better bat the S3 or the Omen awesome
Both bats are going to be very high performing. The S3 is going to be Easton's top of the line alloy while the Omen is going to be a two piece composites. Generally composite barrel bats do outperform alloy barrel bats once broken in correctly.
John
My son is good hitter and has some power he hits hard ground balls and line drives what would be the bat to get unc
The S3 is a solid choice for him. This bat is 100% alloy and will have good pop. This bat has a durable barrel and a large sweet spot.
KG
dose this bat have 1.15 bpf stamp mike
Yes. This bat does have the USSSA stamp.
KG
Does this bat come in a 29/19? Coach
Yes, however we are currently out of stock. We get inventory on a regular basis. As soon as we receive the S3 is in our warehouse, our web site will be updated.
KB
Is this legal for pony leagues for 2012 according to new guidelines? Carp
Yes. This bat will be legal for Pony play this year.
Tyler
I bought this bat (29/19) in January. The bat sounds dead compared to the previous rival. the ball just does not fly off the bat. Is it possible that I received a bad bat? If so, how do iI check it? Brian
All bats are sold with a 12 month warranty to cover anything that may go wrong with the bat. If you feel the bat has a defect, or isn't performing up to your satisfaction, you may contact the manufacturer for a replacement. The phone number for Easton is 888-259-1297.
Derek
Is this bat just for base hits or is it able to give you power? caleb t
The Easton S3 is a one piece design, which is usually more preferred by power hitters. The stiff design of a one piece bat will help generate more power. This bat also has a lower MOI which will help generate more power as well.
Jennifer
Is this bat approved for Babe Ruth league 13-15 year olds? Tank
This bat is absolutely approved for a 13-15 year old Babe Ruth league! As long as it isn't composite (which this bat isn't), it can be any drop, so you are good to go with this bat!
Jennifer
is this bat ONLY for power hitters or would it work for someone like me...4 foot 9 72 pounds 1234qwerty
The S3 is a one piece bat with a low swing weight and is a great bat for players of all abilities. I think this would be a great bat for you.
Tyler
Will this bat work for Pony League? pops
Based on the information I have, this bat would be legal for Pony League Baseball. In Pony League, the bats can have any barrel diameter as long as it is not 2 3/4 inches (which this model doesn't have). You should be good to go with this bat!
Jennifer
Even though this bat is stamped 1.15 will it be legal for use even if the bats barrel is composite? double duece
The Easton S3 does not have a composite barrel. The S3 is an all alloy bat. This bat does have the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for play.
Jennifer
Can I use this bat for Babe Ruth? Rob
The Easton S3 is legal for use in Babe Ruth leagues. Since this is an all alloy bat there are no restrictions on the size or weight of the bat like on composite barrel bats.
Jennifer
Does this bat make that loud ding noise? wheels
The Easton S3 does have the "ping" sound when it is hit.
Kara
What is the difference between this bat and the same model number that has a B after it ? I am looking for the S3 THT 100 Scandium alloy -10, 2 5/8, 19 oz, model SL115310. The bat I saw had the letter A on it above the -10. Just want to make sure I am getting the same one if I select this or whether the B model is the correct one. Thanks. Paul
The only difference between the Easton S3: SL11S310 and the Easton S3: SL11S310B is the Sl11S310B is the barrel size. The Easton S3: SL11S310 is a 2 5/8" barrel and the Easton SL11S310B is a 2 3/4" barrel.
Kara
My coach said I needed a 1.5 BPF stamp on my bat. I have looked around and can't find any bat with a 1.5 BPF stamp. Is there such thing? Or did he just mean 1.15 BPF stamp? Because I really want this bat. Badger
There is no 1.5 BPF stamp. The stamp you will be looking for is the USSSA BPF 1.15 stamp and this Easton S3: SL11S310 does feature that stamp.
Tom
I am looking for the Rival drop 10 - 32/22 bat. cant find it anywhere. Someone told me the S3 is very similar to it. is this true? What are the advantages of this bat? jr
The Rival has been discontinued and replaced by the S3. Both are made from the same materials, but the S3 will have a slightly lighter swing weight than the Rival.
Tyler
Will this bat be legal for use in Junior League play? Brad
The Easton S3 is approved for Junior Little League play. It is a one-piece all alloy design with a 2 5/8" barrel.
John
Which bat is better? The Easton S1, S2, or S3? SLUGGER ALL AROUND
The Easton S1 is a top of the line two-piece fully composite bat. The Easton S2 is a two-piece hybrid design (composite handle/aluminum barrel). The Easton S3 is a one-piece fully aluminum design. Here is a link to compare all three further. http://www.justbats.com/compare/
Tom
Can you use this bat on pitching machines? With pitching machine balls not baseballs? Shade
It is not recommended to use the Easton S3 in the cage hitting against dimpled machine balls. The density of the dimpled jug balls has a tendency to damage bats very easily.
Shelbe
Can you compare this bat to the marucci cat 5? Reed
The Easton S3: SL11S310 Senior League and the Marucci CAT 5: MSB2 Senior League are both one-piece alloy bats with balanced swing weights. The are going to be extreme similar.
Nick D
How does this bat compare to the all composite -10 Easton bat? What are the major differnces? Pads
The Easton S3 is a one piece full alloy bat. The S1 is a two piece full composite bat. The S2 is a two piece bat with an alloy barrel and composite handle.
Tyler
Is the barrel big barrel or small? Reid
The Easton S3: SL11S310 Senior League is a 2 5/8" big barrel bat.
Tom
I bought this bat for my 12 yr old in a -10 but his travel ball team requires -5. Do they make this bat in a -5? I can't seem to find this bat in this drop anywhere but wanted to make sure. I'd like to stick with a balanced bat than the end loaded XL3. Should I get him the trusty Reflex instead? Quahogboy
The Easton S3 big barrel is only available in a -10. The Easton XL3 is a -5 and will be end loaded. The Easton Reflex would be a great balanced bat with a -5 drop.
Kara
What is the break-in time for a composite bat and the best way to do it? Batboy
Break in on composite bats is usually 200-300 hits, and rotating the barrel a quarter turn every 5-10 hits to take hits off all sides of the barrel. The S3 you selected is an alloy barrel, and is hot right out of the wrapper. http://www.justbats.com/product/easton-s3--sl11s310-senior-league/14524/
Derek
Is the Easton S3 all composite? bigboi99

Tyler

My son is 4 ft 7 inches and 66 lbs. He has good hand speed and makes contact consistently. Would you recommend this bat in a 28' or 29'. I thought he would do well with the 2 3/4 (28')bat, but he feels the bat is too burly. Definitely more comfortable with the 2 5/8. Diego
Based on his height and weight, a 29" model would be recommended.
Tyler
My son is 5'4" tall and 97 lbs, what would be the recommended length/ weight? Tony
The recommended size in the Easton S3: SL11S310 for this player is a 31" 21 oz bat. For sizing questions, you may find our bat coach helpful at http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Aubrey
I am 5' 11" and 175 lbs. What length to weight ratio do you think I should be using? reese
Assuming that you are not in high school and depending on your age, a bat with a -8 or -5 length to weight ratio would be a good fit since you are a good sized player.
Tom
I'm 11 years old, 5'3, and 97lbs. I looked at this bat, and I thought it was a good fit for me. I have a 30" 20 ounce bat, and I feel like I could use a heavier bat. Derek Finizio
You could try going with the same length and weight and switching to the XL3 model. It is an end loaded bat that will feel heavier when you swing it, and have a larger sweet spot.
Noah
How does the Easton S3: SL11S310 bat compare to the Easton Rival XXL BG10XL? Mom
The Easton S3: SL11S10 Senior League bat and the Easton Rival XXL BG10XL both are one-piece alloy designs. Here is a link to compare the bats further http://www.justbats.com/compare/
Aubrey
I am deciding between the S3 and the S1. I understand that the S1 may be more durable because of the composite material. Can you give me an idea of the difference in life span? Kempshaw
The life span of a bat is dependent upon many variables and can be very difficult to determine regardless of whether you are talking about an alloy or composite bat. Both the Easton S1 and S3 baseball bats have an excellent reputation as far as durability is concerned.
Jeff
My son needs the 29"-19 oz., but it's not shown on the page. Do you expect to get more in stock? Dos Nekos
The Easton S3: SL11S310 Senior League bat is a closeout model. We do not have anymore 29" 19oz. in stock and will not be getting any more. However, we do have this model in a 29" 19 oz.: Easton S3: SL11S310B Senior League. The difference will be the barrel diameter. This one will have the 2 3/4" barrel diameter where as the model we are out of stock on had the 2 5/8" barrel. We also have the 2013 version available in a 29" 19 oz: 2013 Easton S3: SL13S310 Senior League. It will have the 2 5/8" barrel diameter.
Brandon
How does the Easton S3 compare to the Louisville Slugger TPX Vertex. Which is better? Travis
Both are good bats. The Louisville Slugger TPX Vertex is a two-piece bat which will help with bat speed. The composite handle will also help cut down on vibration. The Easton S3 is a one-piece alloy. The TPX Vertex would be more comparable to the Easton S2.
Damon
Any reason you don't have the S3 in a 27/17 w the 2 5/8 barrel? P
The 2012 Easton S3 SL11S310 is a closeout bat and we no longer have that size in stock. We have received the 2013 Easton models. Here is the link to view the 2013 model of the Easton S3. http://www.justbats.com/product/2013-easton-s3--sl13s310-senior-league/15966/

My son currently is playing with a Easton Reflex 30 inch 17oz is moving to a big barrel going to be a big adjustment for him? 3 oz move up seams a lot Glenn
That's a difficult for us to answer without being able to actually see and analyze the player's swing. If he has above average strength, swing speed and bat control with his 17 oz, bat then he should be just fine moving up 3 oz. in weight.
Tyler
What's the main difference between the SL11S310 and the SL11S110? Specifically around barrel length. Thanks. Steve
The Easton S1 is a two-piece full composite bat. The Easton S3 is one-piece full alloy. Barrel length is the same.
Tyler
How does this bat compare to the COMbat B4 in a-10? boo
Both the Easton S3: SL11S310 Senior League and the COMBAT B4 are very high performing bats. The COMBAT will require a break-in period because of the composite material . The Easton S3 will be hot out of the wrapper.
Kara

Robert
My son is 4' 11" and 110 lbs. What weight & length is recommended for him? Alex
The bat length for a player this size is 30". Depending on your son's strength and the league rules, he should be using anywhere from a (-8) to a (-10) bat in weight. If he is in a (-8) league his bat would be 30" 22oz. If he is in a (-10) league his bat would be 30" 20oz.
Robert

We do not recommend people using their bats temperatures under 55 degrees Fahrenheit because it does increase the risk of the bats denting or breaking.
