Hot Bat has Plenty of POP!! Rick2905 coach

Pros: Being used by our 8U travel team and so far in 2 games players have hit 4 home runs with it over the 165 ft fence. Everybody that uses it hits the ball hard and so far everyone loves it. Seems to be more durable than the 2014 S3 also. Great balance bat with a light swing weight that the kids can get super fast hand speed with. This is the bat all the kids are reaching for now and the hits have gone up a lot. Ball pops off this bat and it sounds great.

Cons: Paint chips pretty easy but other than that no cons so far.

2015 S3 2 5/8 barrel CH Storm 11U coach

Pros: This bat has very good pop and the sound is great. My son has always had a Rival which in my opinion was the best bat Easton ever made. I have to say this bat has just as much pop as the rival and the durability so far has been great. I would definately recommend this bat for all players who want to hit bombs and linedrives.

Cons: none!

G Money

Pros: Very good pop. We tried it out for the first time. My 9 year old boy took by BP yesterday. He's about 67 lbs, used a 27 length and 17 ounce (-10). The balls were flying off the bat! Had some nice hard hit line drives. One almost took my head off. We found one for $99!!! well worth the money. We were comparing it with the DeMarini Vexum. but it felt a little bit end loaded for him. He loves the bat.

Cons: None so far

Great Bat For Great Price Happy dad parent

Pros: My son grew 4 inches in off season so had to get him a bigger bat. Bought the 30in 20oz version and my son loves it. He has always been a solid #2 hitter but with his added size and this bat his new coach moved him to 4-5. Went from hitting hard ground balls last season to driving the baseball over the outfielders heads. No HR so far this season but batting .730 with 52 at bats and 9 doubles. Some of the "smaller" kids on his team are also crushing the ball with his bat. Thinking about picking one up for my 8U player as well.

Cons: None. Love this Bat!

Greatbuy Boaz Trudell player

Pros: This bat is the bat to get. I personally like the fell of aluminum over composite. if you also like the fell of one piece bats this would be an excellent choose for you. One of the best hitters on my team can easily hit to the outfield with this bat. I am about the 5th best hitter and i easily hit over the left fielder head in batting practice. Also i have never had vibration with this bat. very balanced bat

Cons: Ever once and a great while this bat has a pop up. paint onbat could be just a little bit more durable

Great bat @ a great price. JDM coach

I've read a lot reviews about Easton bats, and the cons seem to be that they dent easily. Does this bat have the same problem? amanberg
Unfortunately, we have not received much feedback on the 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) at this point. Easton did improve the alloy used in the S3 between the 2014 and 2015 models, but it's tough to give you much insight into the durability at this point.
Mac
My son is 9yrs old, 4'4 inches and weighs about 52 lbs. Starting in Jan. he is playing on a 9u select team. He wants to jump up to a big barrel bat. Would you suggest this bat? kmdavis0
The 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) is a one-piece alloy bat with a balanced swing weight. The one piece alloy design is typically recommended for players that hit with more power. Based on your son's height and weight, we suggest using a 31" length bat.
Tom
My son is 4' 7" and weighs 65 lbs. He will be playing 11U travel baseball in the spring of 2015. He does not hit with a lot of power, but I'm thinking a big barrel bat may help. He needs to be able to generate bat speed. What size bat would be ideal? Any suggestions on the 2 pack bat packs? P.C.
For your son, we would regularly suggest going with a 29" model of the 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) for your son. However, if bat speed is an issue I may suggest looking at a 28"/18oz. bat. I wouldn't suggest going lighter than 18 ozs. as we want your son to be able to progress regularly through bat sizes so that he will be ready to handle BBCOR size bats when high school begins in 3-4 years. I think the S3 series will be a great option for your son as it is built with balance in mind to provide a player with a quicker swing. Take a look at this bat pack: Bat Pack 2014 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL14S310B 2-Pack ).
Ben
I'm having a hard time deciding between this bat and the 2015 DeMarini Vexxum NVS Senior League Baseball Bat: DXVXR. Could you tell me which bat would be best for contact hitting? Kay
The 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) will feature a one-piece full alloy construction featuring the Hyperlite Matrix Alloy. Additionally, it offers a well-balanced swing weight. The 2015 DeMarini Vexxum NVS Senior League Baseball Bat (DXVXR) features a two-piece hybrid construction with a C6 Composite handle and an X12 Alloy barrel. It will also feature a well-balanced swing weight. Typically, we recommend two-piece models for contact or gap hitters due to the additional amount of flex through the zone, which can result in increased bat speeds.
Joe
Does this bat lose its pop quickly? Casey
The Hyperlite Matrix Alloy barrel that is featured on the 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) is not designed to experience a decrease in performance after a short period of use.
Ben

Joe
Is there any difference in the barrel size and sweet spot between the 2014 and 2015 models? B
The 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL15S310) will feature the same 2 5/8" barrel diameter as the 2014 model. It was also offered in a 2 3/4" model in both 2014 and 2015. The sweet spot will be the same size between the years for both models respectively.
Joe

Cooper
Is this bat full composite? baseball lover
The 2015 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL15S310 is actually a one piece full alloy bat.
Cooper
Which bats is better. Composite or aluminium? Alex
Composite and aluminum bats are both good bats to use and one is not necessarily better than the other. Composite bats will be better in warmer weather and less likely to dent (but more likely to crack), will get hotter over time (after a break-in period of 150-200 swings), and won't make the loud ping sound. Aluminum bats are better in colder weather, more likely to dent overtime (this is typically a result of thinner walls) and are ready to use Day 1.
Cameron
