Pros: Very well balanced, good pop with two-piece composition that likes feel of aluminum barrel and great sweetspot. Overall, an awesome bat that can be swung with authority. Son briefly used an Easton XL model last year in a -10 and it was way, way too top heavy. It's also very cool looking...
Cons: None.
jaymack
Pros: The barrel thickness and the way the ball jumps off the bat is remarkable. Best purchase so far.
Cons:
miss the seat24
Pros: I had brought this bat to the batting cage 2days ago and I also tried the XL1 too but this bat is less end loaded and with the aluminum design I was able to send the ball back to the machine faster than the pitch came. Satisfied 100? completely the ball flies off the bat! Reccomend this bat to anyone who wants to crush the ball great job easton
Cons: Why would there have to be any?
Bigpoi

Pros: This bat is the Best Purchase I have made. Last year we had the S3 for Spring Ball and The Rawlings Machine for Fall Ball. (Both good Bats)......But this BAT is HOT. My son hit three homeruns in his first game with this bat. He hit 2 homeruns all last year. This is the Best Bat on the Market!
Cons: They did not have this Bat when I was playing Ball!
AGIII
Pros: Bat has great pop if hit in on the sweet spot. I hit a homerun with it!
Cons: None.
happyFather
Pros: my son is 8 and made the allstar team so i got him this bat..right out of the box he is hitting fences on the fly with ease..he has just started to put his hips into his swing, so very good pop and he loves it..batted .500 and won their first tourny a few of the kids have this bat and everyone ive talked to was happy with the performance
Cons: its almost too pretty to get dirty lol
Scraps
Pros: Needed a 2 1/4 inch barrel for Babe Ruth. Coming off using Big Barrel bat. The pop on this bat was great. Feels like ball jumps off this bat. Pop flies seem to be traveling an extra 15-20 feet. I am more of a doubles hitter and hit my first and second HR with this bat in the matter of 3 games.
Cons: I've chipped/smudged the graphics almost right away. Pop is unaffected.
Dog
Pros: Quality, well balanced, excellent pop!
Cons: none...I'm sure many are thinking price, but you get what you pay for in this bat.

My sons first year in little league at age 10, he is catching on quick and loves it! Looking to get him the perfect bat for him to build confidense. He is on the smaller side, I would say about the size of a 9 year old. His batting speed is slow also. Looking at the XL2 or XL3 or S3 bats. 28 or 29 inch between 16 and 18oz. What would you reccomend please? J.CORTEZ

My son is 9, 4'1" 58 lbs. He is using an XL2 Big Barrel, he has to use a 2 1/4 barrel for Little League. I am considering the Easton S1. He isn't big, makes great contact, but size limits his "power" somewhat. Is the Easton S1 the right choice? Not sure I get the full difference between the end load and full balance. I was going to get the Easton S1 -12. Any thoughts? Schultzy29
