Out of a small Indiana town 50 miles east of Chicago, Hoosier Bat Company is quickly becoming the bat of choice for major and minor league players. If you want to be a Major Leaguer you have to use wood. Hoosier Bat Company makes an all ash bat, used by many major league players, and a patented three-piece wood bat, the WOODFORCE 2000. The WOODFORCE 2000 bats feature a unique design with an ash handle, hickory sweet spot, and maple on the barrel end. The barrel end of maple is approximately 2-3 inches; the hickory sweet spot portion is approximately 6-7 inches; and the remainder of the bat is all ash. This design provides a solid sweet spot that will not flake, while retaining the same look and feel as a traditional all ash bat.
