Pros: amazing bat would buy another bat
Cons: None
Pros: The writing and color
Cons: lighter on the big barral
Pros: Everything that got messed up on the original Marucci Black was improved the cap on the Marucci Black 2 does not break and it's metal. I prefer this bat to anyone who likes to get on base and score.
Cons: None.
Pros: If this bat gets hotter after 300-400 swings I can't wait to see it cause its pretty hot out of the wrapper. Many people I've people seen on here complain about paint chipping and dirty grips. All I'm worried about is how it hits the ball and durability. Got my 11 year old a 32/21 and it swings light for a 21 oz. I'll update as he gets more swings on it. But so far I'm very satisfied
Cons: None so far
Pros: love it got it for my 11 year old son he loved it has great pop and is a balanced bat
Cons: paint job is not the great
Pros: This bat is really good.
Cons: None.
Pros: Great Balance. Nice color and design for the kids. The second the team saw my son's bat I had to tell them all to please ask for permission to use his bat. It quickly became our teams best hitter + one of the kids called it the 'rookie of the year'! Much better than the original too!
Cons: none (can't beat the price)
Pros: The grip feels great and the overall feel of the bat is great. Swinging feels balanced. Gonna get the Black Senior bat for my son's travel team.
Cons: None
Pros: BEAST
Cons: TEAM WILL WEAR IT OUT
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: small sweet spot. Really stings if you dont get the sweet spot. Not as much pop as expected.
Pros: The bat has a lot of pop and is easy to swing. The second I used it for the first time I knew it was a great bat. I continue to hit hard line drives and extra base hits with it. It is a light bat and has very quick swing speed.
Cons: It is light and therefore sometimes I have trouble waiting back on it, other than that, the bat is perfect.
Pros: more balanced than the mako, weight is at the 2-piece seam, and is a very good bat.
Cons: stings in cold whether.
Pros: He's really come into his own this year. Was it all the bat?? No!!! But I had my son swing this bat up against the others and I will put it up against any of them!!!
Cons: Yes...the paint does fade...but if you are looking for bat that stays looking new...don't play and put it on the shelf!!!
Pros: My son has a Cat5 for travel ball. He got this for rec ball. Second game swinging it he got his first HR. The speed that the ball comes off this bat is frightening. Travel ball pop in a rec sized bat. The size of the sweet spot seems larger compared to most rec bats. My son did state that it stings more than the Cat5 so he plans on using his batting gloves (he never uses gloves with the Cat5). He also thinks it has less pop than the Cat5 (however, the Cat5 is a big barrel). After a couple hundred balls, the bat hardly looks used (using leather game balls, not the cheap synthetic covered "bucket" of balls).
Cons: None so far but a little worried about durability. I have already seen a recently released youth Cat6 dented up after 2 weeks of use. However, he is the second owner of his Cat5 and there isn't a dent on it, even though it has become somewhat of a team bat.
Pros: My son use all alloy bats through coach pitch and they were fine. I upgraded his bat when he showed the commitment to continue in coach pitch. The sweet spot is bigger than his Easton alloy, but not by much. The handle does kill some of the vibration, but not as much as I had hoped. I'm not sure why, but he kept wanting to go back to his old bat... I couldn't determine if he felt something he didn't like or if he just didn't like the change. We used the bat through the fall season and numerous trips to the batting cages. The bat has proven to be durable and was easy to break in.
Cons: He didn't really like wearing gloves, but now he is more apt to put them on because he said this one has more vibration. To be fair, in coach pitch they are throwing to your strike zone. Now that other kids are pitching he's not finding the sweet spot as often.
Pros: feels good
Cons: horrible pop vibrates a lot makes a dead sound when i hit it
Pros: This is the best bat I've ever had . everyone on my team uses it. The ball flies of the bat .Its a great bat you could even say cheap but in my opinion it hits better than the mako or any other expensive bats.
Cons: Does hurt your hands if you hit the ball near the handle. But great bat.
Pros: Good bat with nice pop and balance
Cons: Poor durability. Knob broke off just a couple of weeks out of warranty. Marucci said tough luck and they don't keep extra knobs so unfixable. The rest of the bat was almost pristine. Disappointing. Will go with Easton next time.
