Pros: was at sons game and one of the dads told me about the clearance special .$49 bucks what do I have to lose He hit a home run in his second at bat(285')not bad for an incoming 8th grader.I hope the bbcor bats are the same (got to pay for that sticker)he's got 1 more season before bbcor rules apply.Then I read all the Marucci history.I wish there was data to compare BBCOR to this BESR.

Pros: This bat is the best bat I ever used. Right after I took it out of box, I used in a game. I hit triple, double, and a single. Great pop up and awesome sweet spot creates better pop up and more distance. Vibrating shock grip is awesome and you don't even feel the contact. Balance is awesome so your swing is much smoother. Highly reccomend!!!

Cons: Makes you too confident and possible over swing to hit the ball futher.

Pros: Smooth, balanced bat. Good contact feels like butter. I like the smaller knob as it doesn't rub against the bottom hand as much. Very comfortable grip.

Pros: Bat has nice pop and good balance.

Cons: Not well made...dampener fell out of bat after just a few uses. Had to send in for warranty repair. Not cool for a brand new bat. Let's see how Marucci responds...stay tuned.

Pros: We got this bat for my son to transition to High School in a year. Best purchase ever. He is hitting line drives in gaps and says it swings as light as his -5 H2 TPX because of the balance. He has also said that there is no sting. Nice job "Maruch"! We will be getting the BBCOR next year.

Cons: The knob comes loose, but it's just a matter of checking it once in a while and screwing it back on.

This bat is not BBCOR certified. BBCOR bats will have the stamp on the bat and will also have BBCOR in the name of the bat. BBCOR bats only come in a -3.

No, the Marucci CAT 5: MAB2 Adult bat is not BBCOR Certified. BBCOR bats will have the stamp on the barrel of the bat.
