Pros: Nice bat, good amount of pop, nice simple look about it.

Cons: I know this bat is designed for more of a power hitter, but if you are somewhat of both a power hitter and a contact hitter like myself I would recommend one of the easton S series. Overall a nice bat though.

Pros: I am a high school player I had this bat for a full year, used it during 2 seasons, Tourneys, Combines, Showcases. The bat is simply amazing. I have had NO issues.

Cons: When you hit a ball solid, the ball may mark the bat cause its a white bat The top of the tape starts to come off, but at Sports Authority for $2 I bought some white tape to cover it up, its a VERY small issue

Overated Jill Ramsey parent

Pros: The feel of the bat was good. Pop was decent

Cons: For the price point the durability of the bat was definately sub par. I have never seen a bat split open the way this bat did. We never used this bat against batting cage balls. Followed all of the guidlines. In the middle of a tournament my son got a fastball, he made solid contact and the ball barely made it to over first bases head. I asked him what happend he said he didnt know his bat felt weird. he went to get his bat and it was split open about 1/4" wide 6" long on one side and cracked about 4" on the other side. The vibration was another big con.

Jennifer

Jennifer
Does this bat have the USSSA stamp on the bat? Derek
The Marucci Team BBCOR does not have the USSSA stamp. Adult bats are not stamped with the USSSA approval as they are BBCOR certified and do not have to feature the USSSA stamp. The Marucci Team is offered in a Senior League model that does feature the USSSA stamp.
Jennifer

The Marucci Team is BBCOR certified and is legal for high school or collegiate level play.
Jennifer
Does this bat have a balanced or end loaded feel? A.J.
The weight in the Marucci Team is evenly distributed. This gives the bat a very balanced feel.
Jennifer
What is the drop on this bat? Patrick
Since the Marucci Team is an adult BBCOR bat, it will have a -3 drop. All adult bats will have a -3 drop.
Jennifer
Does this bat come in a 33/30? Collins
The Marucci Team is available in a 33/30. Our website shows all sizes we have available and that are ready to ship.
Jennifer
How long is the break in period for this bat? Tony
Since the Marucci Team does not have a composite barrel, there is no break-in period required. This bat will be hot right out of the wrapper!
Jennifer
What is the difference between the colors of the 3 bats? Ryan
The Marucci Team bats are the same design and construction, except one is blue, one is red and one is black.
Tyler
For the money is the Marucci Team series just as good as the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo? jo
That depends on who you ask. The Marucci Team bats are stiff, one-piece bats. The DeMarini Voodoo is a two-piece bat with more flex. Both are high performing bats, just depends on whether you prefer a two-piece or one-piece bat.
Tyler
Would you recommend the Cat 5, Marucci Black, or Marucci Team based on pop? I am a power hitter. Jacob
All are great bats with very good pop. The CAT 5 and Team models are one-piece bats that often benefit power hitters. The CAT 5 was one of the highest performing BBCOR bats on the market, but it has been discontinued and we no longer have any in stock. I think the Team bat is comparable to the CAT 5, but it will be hard to match the CAT 5's performance. If you prefer a one-piece bat, go with the Team, if you have traditionally used two-piece bats with success, go with the Marucci Black.
Tyler
How does this compare to the Marucci Black? Aaron Foxie
The Marucci Team BBCOR will be stiffer than the Marucci Black because it is a one-piece bat. Both are very high performing.
Kara
For an average on base hitter with good power, would this or the Marucci Black be a better bat for me to use? BaseBallGuy
The Marucci Team bats are a one-piece alloy design made more for power hitters. The Marucci Black is a two-piece hybrid design that has more flex when swung; designed more for a contact hitter.
Derek
Which bat is more even weight, the CAT5 or the Team? Sarge
The CAT5 and the Marucci Team both have balanced swing weights and have a very similar feel.
Ryan
Why is the Marucci Team $100 less than the Marucci Black? Zac
The Marucci Team and Marucci Black are two completely different bat designs, hence the price difference. The Team is a one-piece alloy and the Black is a two-piece hybrid with an alloy barrel and composite handle.
Derek H.
I am a sophomore in high school who hits for power. What should I get, the Marucci Team or the Marucci Black? Zach
If you are a power hitter then the Marucci Team would be a great choice for you! The Marucci Black is a great bat, but the two-piece design of this bat is usually better suited for contact hitters.
Jennifer
What is the difference between the red, black, blue, orange, and green Team bats? Ryan
There are not any differences among the red, black, blue, orange or green Marucci Team bats. They are just different colors to help give players a variety of colors to choose from.
Jennifer
Is the Team end loaded or balanced? Casey
The weight in the Marucci Team is evenly distributed. This gives the bat a balanced feel.
Jennifer
Is this bat legal for high school and college ball? Alberto
The Marucci Team is BBCOR approved and is legal for use in high school and collegiate level play.
Jennifer
What is the drop weight on this bat? Eric
The Marucci Team BBCOR is an adult BBCOR bat with a -3 drop. All adult bats will have a -3 drop.
Jennifer
What is better, the Marucci Team or the Marucci Black? Rick
Both, the Marucci Black and the Marucci Team are great bats. Determining which one is better is difficult and is really dependent on the type of hitter you are. If you are more of a power hitter, the Team would probably be the best option for you because it is a one-piece ally. However, if you are more of a contact hitter, then the two-piece hybrid design of the Black would probably better suit your needs.
Jennifer
Is this a one-piece bat? Dave
Yes, the Marucci Team is a one-piece all alloy bat. A bat like the Team would be a great option for a power hitter!
Jennifer
Do you have the Marucci Team bats in stock? Trevor
Yes, we currently have the Marucci Team bats available in the colors available on our website. We run a live inventory on our site, so if we sell out of a certain size, we will remove that item from our site.
K.B.
Is this Team bat BBCOR certified? Baseball Mom
Yes, the Marucci Team is BBCOR certified and legal for high school or collegiate level play.
Jennifer
How does the Marucci Team compare to the Marucci CAT 5? Andy
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT-B Adult bat is Marucci's 2013 one-piece alloy model that replaced the Marucci CAT 5. The Marucci Team bat is BBCOR certified and legal for play in NCAA and NFHS sanctioned events.
Austin
How does this bat differ from the CAT 5 Squared BBCOR? Is it better? c chop
The Marucci Team is very comparable to the Marucci CAT 5 and designed with the same high end alloy as the Cat 5. Both have excellent pop and performance.
Kara
Do you think this bat will get banned like the CAT 5? Royals Fan
I do not think the Marucci Team BBCOR bat will get banned like the 33" Marucci CAT 5. The 33" 30 oz. CAT 5 was the only size that was decertified. Marucci has since done a great job of testing their bats to make sure they are legal for play at the different levels. If the Marucci Team does lose its BBCOR certification, the NCAA and NFHS will be the governing bodies that make this ruling.
Austin
Does this have a -3 drop weight? The Question Asker
The Marucci Team does in fact have a -3 drop. All adult BBCOR bats will have a -3 drop.
Jennifer
Is this bat approved for NCAA play? Austin Hillbilly
Yes it is. This Marucci Team bat is BBCOR certified and legal for NCAA play.
Tyler
Is this approved for high school play? Bo
Absolutely! The Marruci Team is BBCOR certified and is legal for play in high school and collegiate levels.
Jennifer
Is this bat BBCOR certified? Skipper
The Marucci Team BBCOR is BBCOR certified and legal for use in high school and collegiate level play.
Jennifer
Is there a break-in period? If so, how long? Dat Dude
Since the Marucci Team BBCOR bat is an all alloy bat, there will not be a break-in period required. Only composite barrel bats will require a break-in.
Jennifer
Where is it made? Tim
Marucci"s headquarters is located in Baton Rouge, LA. However, the Marucci Team model is manufactured overseas.
John
Would it be too heavy, in your opinion, for a 13 year old who is 5'3" and 100 pounds? pcbaseball5
Based on that height and weight, a 29" bat is recommended. Since the smallest size we currently have available is a 31" 28oz, these sizes will probably be too large for you. However, if you feel like you can swing a 31" bat, then I say go for it! It shouldn't hurt anything.
Jennifer
I'm an 8th grader and about 5'4" and 125 lbs. and wanting to upgrade from a 31 in. 28 oz. Easton Hammer. Would this be a good upgrade? Q7mustard
The Marucci Team would definitely be a great bat to upgrade to. The Team is a full alloy bat like the Hammer and you shouldn't have any problems switching to this bat!
Jennifer
Is this end loaded or balanced? lw
The Marucci Team BBCOR is a one piece allow with a balanced swing weight.
Damon
I am currently swinging an easton s3, how would this bat feel in comparison and would it be an easy transition? Jeff
The Marucci Team MCBT is a one-piece balanced bat just like the Easton BB11S3 so the weight distributions will be comparable. The transition from one of these bats to the other should be an easy one.
Shelbe
I am 12 years old and I am a contact hitter. I need a 31 inch BBCOR bat. Should I get the 2013 Marucci Team or the 2013 Rip-It Prototype? A-TRAIN
The Marucci Team and the RIP-IT Prototype will both use some of the highest performing alloy on the market. They will have similar weight distribution as well. Here is a link to further compare the two bats. http://www.justbats.com/compare/
Tom
Which bat would you recommend for more of a contact hitter, this bat or the Easton XL3? Thanks. dt
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is a one-piece alloy design with a balanced swing weight and generally more preferred by a contact hitter. The Easton XL3 has an extended barrel and slight end loaded feel and therefore preferred by a power hitter.
Aubrey
I am 15 years old and about 110 pounds and I was wondering if this bat would be better then the bat pack with the Louisville Slugger TPX EXO Grid and the DeMarini Vexxum? Which one would you prefer? JT
I prefer the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult, it is a great bat. But anytime you can get two quality bats for a equal price you can't go wrong with that either.
Chad M.
My son would like us to purchase this bat for him. He is 13 years old, 5'8" about 156 pounds. What size would you recommend for him? Tam
Based on his height and weight we recommend a 32" 29 oz. Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult.
Kara
Is the Marucci Team BBCOR evenly balanced in the 32" 29 oz. model? ArayBayBay
Yes. The Marucci Team BBCOR is a very well balanced model.
Damon
Is this bat legal? Breezy
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult bat features the BBCOR stamp and would be legal for high school and collegiate play.
Aubrey
I am a high school player that is looking into getting a new bat. I am 6'4" and 185 lbs. What size bat should I get and is the Marucci team bat a good choice? P$
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult bat is a great choice for a one-piece fully alloy model. At your size you should be swinging a 33"-34" BBCOR bat size.
Brandon
What is the difference between the Team bat and the Cat 5? zac
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult replaced the CAT 5. They didn't update anything, aside from the graphics.
Katie
Are there any Marucci Wood bats that have the same balance like this bat? studmuffin
Yes. Marucci's designs their wood bats to be balanced. The Marucci Albert Pujols AP5NB or the Marucci Chase Utley CU26B would be good models.
Damon
Is this a one-piece bat? Paul
Yes, the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is a one-piece bat.
Noah
Is there anyway I can extend the warranty? DatDudeLS
No, unfortunately the bat will only have a one year manufacturers warranty.
Noah
Does this bat dent easily? Some people say it has no pop. Mikey
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult performs very well, but there have been a few durability issues with the bat, but in a case where the bat may be defective it still has a full one year warranty.
Noah
Does the -3 have the USSSA stamp? am
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is BBCOR certified, so it does not require the USSSA stamp.
Marcus
I am 5'5" 115 lbs. Would a 31" Marucci Team be a good bat for me? BB
Yes, the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult bat would be fine for you in a 31" 28 oz. size.
Brandon
My son is 5' 5" and about 130 lbs. Which bat would be best for him? Zac's Mom
Your son should be using a 32" Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult.
Noah
What's the difference in this, Marucci Elite and Marucci Black? cray
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is a one-piece alloy, the Marucci Black is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle. The Elite is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle, but the last few inches of the barrel are replaced with composite. This takes "dead weight" out of the Elite, making it the most balanced of the three.
Katie
I am 5'8" and 130 lbs, which size? swag
Based on your height and weight you should be using a 31" 28 oz.
Jason
Im 5'11" and 140 lbs. What size bat should I swing? yodoggrif
Based on your height and weight, we would recommend getting the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult in a 32''. For more information on sizing please visit our Bat Coach at http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Tori
I'm 13 years old, 5'10" and weigh about 120 lbs. What bat should I swing? justin
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is a great choice for a contact hitter, as it's well balanced. For a power hitter, I'd recommend an end loaded model, such as the Easton XL3 BBCOR: BB11X3 Adult. Based on your size and age, I recommend a 31" model.
Katie
I'm 6'4" and 165 lbs. What bat should i choose? mburkart28
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 34" Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) Red.
Tessa L.
I am 6'0" 155lbs. What size should I get? All15Star
We would recommend a 33" in the Marucci Team (MCBT) Red Adult model.
John
Is this bat similar to the Marucci CAT 5 that was hot a couple of years ago? Love
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT replaced the Marucci CAT 5. It is similar in performance and durability.
Kara
I am 5' 8" and 135 lbs. I am playing 14 years old AAA. Do you make this bat as a -5, 33"? I am a power hitter and I like to pull the ball to left field. It needs to be a BBCOR bat. AAAslugger16
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult is a BBCOR model and would meet the requirements for your league. All BBCOR bats are going to be a -3 length to weight ratio. If you have to have a BBCOR model, you would not be allowed to swing a 33" -5. They do make a Senior League model of the Marucci Team, but they do not have a 33" -5, and it would not be legal for your league.
Justin R.
Would the Marucci Team and Rawlings 5150 have similar performance (pop) and durability? JFL
Given their single piece alloy designs and the fact that they both conform to the BBCOR standards of performance; the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) and the 2014 Rawlings 5150 Alloy BBCOR (BB513) will have similar characteristics in performance and durability.
Patrick
Is this bat durable? Would it last more than a year? Cdeeds
The Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) uses top of the line alloy materials. It will be very durable and high performing.
Kara
Quick question. is this bat up to the USSSA rules. I am really interested in this bat but i have to work within those rules TJ
The Marucci Team BBCOR is only certified for BBCOR and not USSSA. We do have other bats on our website that would have the USSSA stamp.
Zach
I play 14U AA 5'8' 160 lbs. Do you recommend a 33"? I've swung a 31" 28 oz., 32" 29 oz. and even a 33" 30 oz. zackthestack19
Based on your height and weight we recommend a 32" Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT).
Kara
I am 14 years old 5' 7" 120 lbs. What size do you recommend? adrian
Based on your height and weight, I would recommend a 32" 29 oz. in the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT).
Justin R.
I am 5'2 and weigh 126 pounds. What size should I be using? joey

Aaron
How does this bat feature such a low pricepoint compared to other BBCOR bat? Mitch
This Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) Red Adult bat is a 2013 model and is on Closeout, so we are able to drop the price from the Manufacturer's Advertised Price. This is still a great choice, and it's a new bat that's backed by Marucci's manufacturer's warranty.

What's the difference between Marucci Team and Marucci One other than "balanced swing weight" ? baseballboy
The 2014 Marucci One features an entirely new profile inspired by Marucci"s Big League Board of Directors and was designed to be even more balanced than the 2013 Marucci Team. The improved balance is the result of the One"s new shape and wall thickness profiles. Players will also notice new professionally-inspired knob taper shapes, which many have said offers even better feel and control.

I'm a high school ball player. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs. My summer coach continues to tell my dad that I should swing a 30 inch bat. I feel I have trouble covering the outside edge. Is a 32" Marucci Team BBCOR a good choice? John
Based on your height and weight we recommend a 32" bat. This should help you cover the outside of the plate.
Kara
I'm 5'4" and weight 190 pounds. What size would you suggest? big papi
We would suggest using a 32" in the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) Red at your height and weight.
Aaron
167 pounds and 5' 10". What size Marucci bat would you suggest? Mo
Based on the information you gave, I recommend a 33" 30 oz. size bat in the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT Red).

I'm in high school and I am 5'2" 110 lbs. What brand and size bat should I be using? I'm pretty strong for my size, and I am not sure what to use. Reggie
Based on your approximate height and weight, the suggested length we would recommend would be 29 inches. If you are a power hitter, I would probably recommend a one-piece alloy design. The Rawlings VELO BBCOR: (BBVELO) would be a great choice to take a look at it. It will be very balanced and fairly easy to generate a fast bat swing with. It will also be extremely powerful, and has a great trampoline effect. If your playing style resembles a contact hitter, I would suggest taking a look at the 2014 Easton S2 BBCOR: (BB14S2). This model will be a two-piece hybrid design and will provide a little bit more flex. It will also have a great sweet spot, and has been highly reviewed as well.

Yes, it may be a bad idea to be dropping your Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT Red) bat on purpose. If you hear a rattle it won't effect performance. The bat does come with a 12 month warranty from Marucci.

Are you sold out of the blue version? I was hoping to get a 33" model. Tyler
We no longer have the 33" Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) Blue in stock. However, we do have the 2014 Marucci ONE BBCOR (MCB1B) available in blue in a 33".
Kara
I bought this bat and the sticker on the knob of the bat came off. There are two holes drilled in the bottom. Are they there for a reason? Parker
The holes on the knob of the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT Red) under the sticker may serve some kind of purpose. I would ask the manufacturer who makes it. Here is Marucci's direct number: 1-225-291-2552.
Brandon
