Pros: Since he got his bat last week, his confidence has gone through the roof. Great transition bat for a boy making the change to faster pitching and longer dimensions. Today's game my 13 year old went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and several kids using it and all had great pop.

Pros: Comfortable, great sound. No sting. Great bat for contact hitters. Easy to adjust to the ball. Great transition bat before you go to the -3 bats.

Pros: Has very good pop if your bigger and can get it around. Seems end loaded ill to much for our son. He let his bigger friend try it and had no problem swinging it. Nice pop

Pros: Purchased for my 12U son who is a contact hitter @ 5' 2"/105lbs. Very balanced and light weight feel. Feels and swings lighter then specified weight. Plenty of pop right out of the wrapper.

Cons: Developed multiple small dents after few routine BP sessions (using regulation baseballs not heavy yellow rubber cage balls) then cracked length wise all the way down the barrel. Marucci covered under warranty but I would not recommend this model.

The 2013 Marucci Team preBCOR: MSBT5 Red Senior League bat is a bat that will hit just like an adult BBCOR model. If you are trying to get your kid used to adult bats, this is the way to go. The CAT 5 bats are pretty slim these days, we are sold out. We also will not be getting anymore in stock.
