No. Unlike other bats in Mattingly's line, this bat and the Mattingly Saber have traditional round handles.

I have a cf4 all ready and i was wondering if i could use this in the batting cages, because i cant use my other on in them. Also i dont like aluminum bats, so would a hybrid be the best for me because i love composite bats? softballpitcher15
Really, any bat can be used in the cages, it's just recommended you have a seperate bats to use in games. This bat features a composite frame with an external alloy shell and will display good durability. This isn't full composite though, so if that's what you want, you may need to look at different bats.

No, the Mattingly Balistk Round Handle: BTKFP Fastpitch bat will not have the most up to date stamps from ASA or USSSA.

The Mattingly Balistik Round Handle (BTKFP) fastpitch bat does have markings that indicate that it has a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.20. However, this bat is ASA approved and will not feature the new USSSA "thumb print" sticker that would make it legal in USSSA play.

The Mattingly Balistk Round Handle (BTKFP Fastpitch) is for a girls fastpitch league. It does not have the USSSA certification stamp. I would ask a coach or league official if you can use this bat.
