Mattingly has not officially released the barrel length, but it is approximately 9 1/2 inches.

No, this bat does not have the 1.15 BPF stamp on it.

the question was asked if the bat was stamped with the BPF 1.15 and you answered no but in the pic it shows it to be??? marty
It does have the old 1.15 bpf on it. When the ruling was handed down and they designed the new required stamp, this stamp is being grandfathered in for 1 year, but starting in 2013 all bats will have to have the newly designed stamp.

This bat does NOT have the USSSA stamp on it that is needed for 2012. It does have the B.P.F 1.15 stamp on it though. I would double check with your league or tournament offical before purchasing.

This is a one-piece bat. One piece bats are often preferred by power hitters. It is also a very well balanced bat. Typically contact hitters prefer a well balanced bat. Because of these features, the BTKYB is a great choice for either.

Most likely the newer models from Mattingly will have the USSSA BPF 1.15 stamp. However, the Mattingly Balistk Round Handle is legal in USSSA until 2014.

I just bought the Mattingly Balistk bat, as of now is it still banned from little league. Some sites say yes it is and others say it is approved. What is the case, is this bat approved or not? gary adamson
According to the Little League Approved bat list, the Mattingly Balistk Round Handle: BTKYB Youth bat is not approved for 2013. You can find the bat list at the following link.
