Pros: Have been a fan of Mattingly Bats for several years, and this was the first wood bat I purchased from them. Bought this specifically for a wood bat tournament in Atlanta. Saw several wood bats break over the weekend, but not the Mattingly. Was concerned given the V grip has you hitting the ball in the place over and over again. Cons:Although I knowingly bought the youth model to get 31”, the barrel was only 2.25". 2.5" would have been better, but still a good bat.

Pros: Great bat good pop, looks good, V-Grip is cool. Cons:Broke it once. I taped it back up no big deal. Also you might need tape for the grip.

Pros: the v grip is a really great idea we have only used it in the cages so far but it has a good pop and a good sized sweet spot gloves are a must for this bat Cons:a little heavy for some smaller kids it would have a 5 rating for bigger kids that can carry the weight
