How would it compare to the demarini CF4 ST? baseball mechanic
There's actually a lot of differences. The CF4 is a two piece, all composite bat where the White Dragon is a one-piece all alloy bat. The Dragon will be much stiffer than the CF4 and is better suited for stronger hitters. The CF4 is better suited for contact hitters.

I am considering this bat as a good tweener between a drop 10 and drop 5 for my 12 year old, whose 5'9". Besides cosmetically, are there any differences between this model and the MS1PGD8? It appears to be the same bat with different graphics and a different price. Thank you. Ddub
You are right. The difference is just the cosmetics. Everything else between the two bats are the same. I it is a great option for your son.
