Description

New for Always looking to take their baseball bats to the next level, Miken proudly introduces the new Triad! The two-piece Triad defies Miken's conventional one-piece design, but is still made with the same high grade carbon fiber Miken's fans are used to. Triad is not only the name of the bat, but also the name of Miken's newest technology. Triad Technology revolutionizes bat construction by using triple pressure application to harness the thermal expansion of Mken's high grade aerospace carbon. The result is unparalleled durability and jaw-dropping performance! The handle of the Triad is made with Vortex Technology that uses the power of a braided reinforcement to increase the strength of the handle and optimize performance. Each braided layer distributes the load evenly, while all layers move seamlessly together for optimal flex and performance. On the barrel end, the Triad features a new expanded sweetspot that maximizes barrel flex and eliminates vibration! The Triad is proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. Miken: We Don't Play the Game, We Dominate It! The Triad is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Great pop. Used during winter league. I hit for power and the balance is great for me.

Cons: The first one rattles at the joint, I received a new one at no cost in a few days and it has been a gem.

Pros: I like the balanced weight for a smooth swing. Once the bat broke in, the ball pops off the bat and it sounds great... loud crack. It is just as good if not better than the Easton XL1.

Cons: Can not be used in cold weather. Will crack the barrel and the entire bat will break apart!

Cons: bat broke after one week, replaced it and broke again in 3 weeks, small sweet spot when wasnt broken, stay away from this bat, this was in Texas where it is not cold to often, so it was not due to the cold, bat is the worst i ever owned, will never by miken again, would give it no stars if i could

baseball fever

Pros: This bat has no sting to it and has above average pop on all hitting areas inside and out. Your son will love this bat. My son went from hitting short hoppers over the fence to homeruns.

Cons: No one knows about this bat.

biglerboy

Pros: Staff of Just Bats were awesome they went out of their way to help me. Great job.

Cons: Took two shipments to get correct bat because Miken labeled them wrong and when I finally got the correct bat my son used it for two practices and it cracked letting the handle go into the barrel. Less then 20 swings. I am on the fourth bat in 3 weeks and the craftsmanship does not look good on this bat either, alot of dimples in it. Only a matter of time till it goes. Only bright spot was just for bats crew they were awesome with the help they gave me.

Ageostrophic

Pros: Decent pop

Cons: Bat does not hold up. My 12 yr old son has cracked his 2nd bat in 2 months using only reg. balls during games and practices. The outer shell simply cracks...will ask for another from Miken but how long will it last? Crazy for this to happen given the cost of the bat.

TravelBallDad

Pros: Looks great, and is a well balanced bat for kids that need a quick barrel thru the zone.

Cons: Quality and integrity, my son play 12U travel ball and the first bat lasted 4 months and a major crack developed one the barrel. Returned it (took 3 weeks to get replacement) and with in 30 days barrel cracked again. Several other players on my sons team have this bat and the same thing happened. Moving to Easton, no bats cracking with the Mako, or XL 1.

Cons: I don't have any yet. He's had it for a couple of weeks and just used out for one game because they were off for spring break.

The 2013 Miken Triad: YTRI10 Youth bat has a composite barrel and therefore requires a break-in period. The break-in should be 150-200 hits soft toss or off a tee. Also, remember to rotate the barrel a quarter of an inch for an even break-in of the barrel.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
