The Y110 birch bat from Pearson features a 2 9/16" barrel diameter and a 15/16" handle that makes it perfect for players making a transition to wood. Using wood bats at an early age teaches young players proper swing mechanics and helps them to hit the ball on the barrel and find the sweet spot on every swing. This bat is also easier to swing than many adult wood bats, because it has an approximate -6 to -8 oz length to weight ratio.
