Description

New for Based out of Bronx, New York, Verdero has made a name for themselves by creating wood bats with unsurpassed craftsmanship and innovation. Last season, Verdero took their drive for producing cutting edge products into the BBCOR market with the introduction of the 718MAX. This year, the 718MAX returns with a sleek new design. This bat features a one-piece design made from 100% BX Aluminum Alloy that gives players durability and superior performance. The thing that sets the 718MAX apart from the rest is the sweetspot; 4.5 inches to be exact. This offers players one of the largest hitting surfaces on the market today. An ever so slight end-load will give hitters the extra boost to send one into the outfield seats. A thin .88 inch handle that is finished off with a flared knob and superior grip gives the 718MAX an incredible feeling swing. Verdero built the 718MAX to the same quality standards that it offers in all of its Professional Grade Equipment used by players like 4-time All-Star and true "five-tool player" Carlos Beltran. Verdero: Control the Game! The 718MAX is BBCOR Certified and approved for high school and NCAA play. The 718MAX comes with a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

This bat seems to be identical to the 2012 Rip-It Prototype 2 / are these bats related like the Worth Lithium and Rawlings 5150 BBCOR? coolj0690
Yes, they are going to be similar in performance. The 718MAX does have a flared handle unlike the PROB2. The 718MAX is going to be more end loaded than the PROB2.

Is there a difference between the Vedero 2012 718Max and the 2013 718Max other than the color. Wags
About the only difference between the 2 bats is going to be the paint scheme. Although, they will try to make some adjustments to increase durability of the bat from year to year.
Derek
How would you compare this bat to the Rip-It PROBR, and the 5150 Velo? Bjonesy45
The 718Max will have more of an endload feel as compared to the PROBR and the Velo. For more BBCOR information feel free to our customer service a call at 1-866-321-2287.

How does this bat compare to the 2011 Rawlings 5150 BBCOR Bat? Crusader7
Both bats are very similar and will perform just about the same. The main difference is the Rawlings 5150 will be more balanced and the Verdero 718MAX has a slight end load feeling.
Jennifer
Would you recommend this bat for a high school ball player who is working for varsity and needs to be hitting homeruns by the end of the summer? thor
If you are a power hitter, the 2013 Verdero 718MAX would be an excellent choice. It is slightly end loaded, a great option for power hitters.
Kara
How is this bats balance? I know it has an enload feel but is it a dramatic enload or very unnoticable? Does an endload bat swing faster? Guchi
The 2013 Verdero 718MAX BBCOR: 718MAX Adult has a slight end load. The end load will slow down your swing speed.
Zach
I play 15U travel ball and I am about 6'7" 210 pounds power hitter. Is this bat in a 33 inch 30 oz a good choice? baseball
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 34" 31 oz. 2013 Verdero 718MAX BBCOR bat.
Kara
Is this bat as end-loaded as the Easton XL3? dalebomba
The Easton XL3 would be more end loaded than the 2013 Verdero 718MAX BBCOR.
Chad M.
