Mako k player
Pros: durable
Cons: Takes a while to break in.
I do not have this bat viper player
Pros: looks good
Cons: none
2016 Easton Mako -10 joe parent
Pros: This is my daughter's first year playing travel (10U). Her previous experience was 2 years with little league softball. She used a 40$ low quality bat until I broke down and bought her a top of the line stick. Prior to getting this bat she would get solid line drives and always hit the ball well. All i can say is that for us we noticed the difference day 1. It was hot right out of the wrapper and now with about 5 tournaments in she just murders the ball. Honestly in this time span she has hit about 4 over the fence homeruns on Varsity high school fields 200+ feet and maybe 10 inside the park homers on fields with no fence or those one hoppers to the fence (shes fast). This is against pretty darn good pitching and competition in NorCal. I guess what im trying to say is this bat is definitely a keeper. Its holding up very well and i think is not fully broken in yet but close and thats scary.
Cons: The only thing bad is the paint job. I love the color scheme but obviously white gets dirty fast and the scraps and scuffs are very visable. Other then that i grade it a 5 star across the board A+++.
2016 Easton MAKO Parent parent
Pros: Great pop right out of the box. My daughter will not use another bat.
Cons: none
Needs some work. Softball coach coach
Pros: Looks great and feels good in your hand.
Cons: We bought this bat because we had two of the 2014 orange and white versions that was smoking hot. This model was not the same. We tried to break it in and still use it to hit infield and use it in the cage so we don't wear out our LXT bats. Very disappointed in the overall performance of the new Mako.
Disapointing KMJ coach
Pros: Graphics are great. It looks almost brand new and we have had it a year. It is very durable.
Cons: Now the reason it looks brand new and durable is because we don't use it. The only Good thing I can say about this bat is that it was so bad we switched to LXT's
2016 Mako Softball Guru parent
Pros: You WILL NOT beat this price. My daughter has been a die hard Demarini girl for last 5 yrs. After 1st time or 2 hitting with this Mako she wasnt crazy about it. After 300-400 hits on the bat shes liking it a lot more. Used it at tournament this past weekend and is now her bat of choice. Just takes around 500 hits to get broke in good, but after that its a SMOKIN HOT bat.
Cons: Takes a while to get broke in. 400-500 hits.
WOW!!! doozer coach
Pros: all i got to say WOW!!! what an awesome bat at a great price. my daughter used it tonight for the first time and crushed the ball 2 triples and a double for her 10u team. right out of the box you can hear the pop. i cant comment on durability yet but have faith it will be just fine. you wont regret buying this bat its worth the price!
Cons: none
garbage jason coach
Pros: Looks good
Cons: No pop cracked all over my 2nd easton fast pitch and my last easton fast pitch over rated bat
Balanced bat Bill player
Pros: This bat has done my team wonders. It provides tremendous bat speed and because its balanced we are spraying and beating outfielders on deep drives.
Cons: Havent found one yet
Oldone broke Don S parent
Pros: I got one of these for my granddaughter when they came out but after a year and a half she turned it into a giant maraca. Got her the new Stealth flex but she wasn't comfortable with it so got another one of these and she's back to her old power hitting ways,
Cons: Can't think of any.
Mako only bat my girl swings johny softball parent
Pros: balanced and good grip with pop
Cons: none
Backup Don S parent
Pros: My granddaughter got one of these in 2016 but it broke after a year and a half of home runs and triples. I got her a stealth but she wasn't comfortable with it so I got another 2016 Mako and she started hitting right away. So I bought this one as a spare since the price was low.
Cons: None yet.
Great bat Diamond Girl player
Pros: Still Easton Mako
Cons: none yet
amazing Player for the Ohio USSSA Pride player
Pros: ive had this bat (and the older versionsof it) since it came out, and have grown so attached to it. 14 homeruns in two seasons, constant line drives to the fence. This is the most reliable bat ive ever swung. i have swung this model for 4 years now, and can say it is the absolute best. stress cracks appear everywhere, but this only increases the pop off the bat. hands down the best easton model out there. i refuse to swing anything else.
Cons: with extreme heat (exposed to it in travel ball in the south) the paint has cracked and melted off a bit. ither than that great bat
