Pros: Heavy endload but swings light! excellent feedback good pop and distance out of wrapper great deal
Cons: Needs some break-in
Pros: Good pop right out of the wrapper. Don't be fooled by the price. This is a excellent value. Let some team members swing it they really like it. One guy even bought one.
Cons: None
Pros: Great feel and pop. Dropped down from 28 oz to 27 oz. Took a bit to adjust to the bat. No need to over swing to drive the ball. Got great control of the bat going opposite field and yanking it out of the park in all directions with only 100 cuts on it. Can wait until it's really broken in.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper. Great handle and feel. Hit three out of the park at my first batting practice. I traded at bats with the new Miken Max Load. I like the Hyper Z more than the Miken.
Cons: None. Great price at $79.99. Not sure "why" JustBats raised the price to 99.99? I wanted to buy another, but saw the price increase the next day.
Pros: its a great bat right out the rapp.
Cons: nothing bad to say its worth it
Pros: When I bought the first one to use in the PH Senior (65 and up ) League, I let some of the people try it out and the next thing I know 25 % of the 100 players were using their own. It has good pop right away and gets better after it gets broken in. Can't beat the price, especially if you buy 5 at a time.
Cons: The bat isn't very good looking but if you ignored it because of the look, you're missing out on a good bat.
Pros: Bat has a great feel to it and has some good pop from day one. What's even better is that it has a great price. Thinking of buying another. Should have bought the Bat Pack.
Cons: None yet. Used one week about 30 cuts so far
Pros: Love it so far!! I play senior slow pitch co-ed and other players have this bat and prev editions. The women on our teams are able to use this bat and like it very much. One female bought it before I did. I used it and loved it! I got mine and another female is planning on purchasing another. All the help we can get in the batter's box is appreciated. Would highly recommend it!!
Cons: None...............
Pros: This is my second purchase of the 27 oz bat. First one broken in and hitting long bombs. The fellas are impressed with the bat I'm swinging and recommended saving it for tournaments so I decided to that and use the new one for practice and league. Nice to have two solid bats to tear up the field with and at a good price.
Cons: I haven't found anything to complain about it.
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper Good pop Nice balance
Cons: none yet

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
