Axe softball bats are being used by players at the highest level of competition. Two-time NCAA player of the year, Danielle Lawrie, has endorsed yet another fastpitch model. With a one-piece, LP1 alloy construction, you'll be able to take this design to the field right away without the worry of a break-in period or the absence of pop. An engineered hitting zone will also extend the barrel length for more plate coverage and optimize performance and durability over a 270-degree contact area so that you don't have to rotate your barrel for durability. The feature that takes this softball bat to the next level is the HyperWhip composite end cap. It helps reduce unnecessary weight towards the end of the barrel for increased swing speeds and better overall control through the zone. Axe: Make The Switch!

This Axe Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat (L136F) features a standard 2 1/4-inch barrel diameter, a balanced swing weight, and a drop 12 length to weight ratio that is recommended for younger players or those who are struggling to enhance their swing speed. Experience the Axe handle advantage and buy one of these softball bats today with free shipping and a full one (1) year manufacturer's warranty. Remember, we'll be here for you from click to hit!

Axe Handle Scientifically Proven Benefits
Better Bat Control - High-speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The Axe handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The Axe handle is ergonomically designed to fit naturally in the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate bone. The flush backside of the Axe handle relieves this pressure.

Very nice bat CG Coach

Pros: Excellent bat for 14u girls. My daughter loves the feel of the Axe handle. It is weighted very well. Durability has so far been excellent, even in cold temps.

Cons: She says the pop isnt there when she gets her pitch. We have over 500 hits on it and it seems fine to me, she claims the ball doesnt travel as far.

My daughter is 8 years old she's 54.5" tall and weighs 75 lbs. She has been playing summer and fall ball for 3 years. This year she will be playing with the 10U girls. The size chart indicates she would use a 29" bat I really want her to swing a 16 oz. I'm curious if this 28" will be ok for her size? I'm debating this one or the Mizuno Jenny Finch in the 29" 16 oz option. She prefers the Axe if given the choice. Softball dad
Yes, based on her height and weight she could definitely use a 28"/16 ounce bat. The 2018 Axe Danielle Lawrie -12 Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136F is a great option and I think it would work very well for her.
Carter

The 2018 Axe Danielle Lawrie -12 Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136F is a good bat for her age group. However, based on her size you may want to consider a -10 bat as she may need something a little heavier.
Tori
Is this bat USA certified? LZfambam
The 2018 Axe Danielle Lawrie -12 Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136F does not have the USA certification on it. No softball bats will feature this.
Cameron
Will this bat be okay for my 16 year old who is 5'1'' and weighs about 160 lbs? yazmin
This bat would work fine for them, yes. However, the -12 drop could have a higher risk of durability concerns if she is a power hitter. The lighter the bat, the higher risk of a durability issue with high bat speeds/impact forces due to slightly thinner barrel walls to make the bat so light. We always recommend swinging the heaviest bat that you can handle with good bat speed for the best power results.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
