Pros: Ball comes off the bat extremely well and hard. Very well balanced, son has no problem controlling this bat. I have always bought him other big brand bats and decided to go with the Easton Beast Speed this time, and I am very glad I did. Son loves this bat.

Pros: My 10 year old has hit Marucci's and other high end aluminum bats over the last couple of years and we switched back to Easton and we have been very happy. This bat gets a lot of attention when he hits in the cage (sounds/results) and we've seen others drop the Marucci and other brands for this Easton series. My son has hit thousands of balls with this bat and no damage and he hits hard for a 10 year old. It has a huge sweet spot and almost no vibration, but like all one piece aluminums, there is some vibration on mishits. Tons of pop. Just bought the Alpha 360 which is new and we will likely use that one for games in the spring. I highly recommend.

Cons: No real cons thus far.

Pros: New bat so might break in within another 300 cuts; other sizes might perform better; looks and swings nicely...

Cons: ...but the sweet spot is smaller and it is not forgiving if miss that even slightly; too much work trying to avoid so many foul balls, pop flys and jam shots that other equally priced bats easily overcome.

Pros: Good pop out of the wrapper. Nice balance

Cons: My 11 year old son put a 4" crack in his 29/19 from the end cap down after about 500 swings. He hits pretty hard so I would say not a suitable bat for 50+mph pitches and kids that swing hard. Stings the hands when making contact til over half way up the handle.

The Easton Beast Speed -10 USSSA Baseball Bat: SL19BS10 is a one-piece alloy bat. One-piece bats will not flex on contact so when a ball is not squared up, a player is likely to feel stinging or vibration of the hands. A two-piece bat will cut down on this vibration substantially since they will flex on contact.
