hoping this was an anomaly Ian Gallicano Coach

Pros: This bat is balanced very well. Both my son and I hit with it in the cage. We both just smile after hitting with it. It feels great. The pop is amazing as my son went 2-3 with a double off the 340 fence. It definitely lives up to the presale Hype. HOWEVER...

Cons: ...One game and two cages and it dented near the end of the bat. Still can't believe it. But Justbats were great. A new one is on the way no questions asked. I'll add to this review if the new one dents.

Great Bat Mike Scandizzo Coach

Pros: Great feel. Great sound. Have only used it in BP and cages so far but the pop right out of the wrapper is there! Excited to see what it does after breaking it in a bit. My son is very excited about the bats potential.

Cons: Seems to have a smallish sweet spot. Vibrates a bit on ball hit lower on the barrel.

Used for four games D.J. Limahue Player

Pros: Good pop

Cons: Four games and got a dent at the end of the bat so the cap looks like an egg shape, sending it back in and getting a Cat 8 connect :)

Overall one of the best bats i've ever used Daniel Player

Pros: Unlike some of the other reviews I've seen, my bat hasn't dented or cracked yet. After a full season of baseball, and including multiple weekends at the cage, the bat sounds and still looks great.

Cons: The lizard skin grip felt different than the ones I used before and tore very early in the season which I had the replace within about a week or two. Also, on some of the mis-hits along the barrel of the bat, the vibration was really strong, but then again, they were mis-hits

Very Good Bat Brady Struble Player

Pros: I am a high school varsity ball player. I've used this bat for one day so far but I used it lot and worked it hard and it holds up. I was worried about the end denting but it feels solid and is holding up so far. It has really good pop and has a very comfortable feel.

Cons: None so far

Great Bat So Far Keith Parent

Pros: My son loves the balanced feel, the pop and the looks. The ball is really carrying off this bat. He chose it over the Solo 618. Has a much different sound than other hybrid bats. I am guessing it's the c-core technolgy.

Cons: None yet. He'll hit off live pitching with it in the fall and hopefully it holds up well. So far with front toss, no issues. End cap is fine, no denting.

Great quality bat Wyatt Powers Player

Pros: I have had this bat for a couple tournaments and it seemed to do amazingly good. I went for the whole tournament 11 for 14 with 4 bombs over the fence on a 335 side and 370 dead center with two of them going out dead center. I like the pop in this bat a lot and the vibration is just on point for me. I also feel like it is great for both lefty and Righty swingers because I switch hit. The feel of it is great and if you get the sweet spot you can barley even feel it. It will for sure go far.

Cons: The bat chips here and there but the durability is almost right where it needs to be. I also have a little rattle noise in the barrel from glue and that happened In the middle of a tournament but overall its great. I highly suggest it.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is there anywhere in the Southeast to try this bat? Alex
If you were hoping to find a location near you where a demo is being done for this Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB19136), I would recommend reaching out to Easton directly. They can be called at 888-259-1297.
Ben
How does this bat compare to the Louisville 719? Gabe
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 is very similar to the Louisville Slugger Select Hybrid 719 BBCOR Baseball Bat: WTLBBS719B3. Both are hybrid bats with slightly end loaded swing weights, so it really comes down to your preference in brand when trying to decide between the two.
Logan
Is this bat more for power hitters or contact hitters? blake
This Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB19136) features the power balanced feel to it which will make it a little heavier towards the barrel. Because of that, I would say the bat is more for power hitters.
Ben
Does it feel like an end loaded -or- balanced bat when you are swinging? Blake
This Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB19136) is said to be "power-balanced". It has an optimized barrel length with more mass added to the barrel to allow for more power if you can handle the extra weight in the barrel. It should feel end-loaded when being swung.
Ben
What's the difference between the BBCOR .50 sticker on this and a USSSA 1.15 sticker? Can they usually be used in the same division? bob
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 is a bat that must be used by all high school and college age players. At these levels, BBCOR bats are required and a BBCOR bat is similar to a wood bat with regards to performance. A USSSA bat is going to be used by younger players, typically travel ball players, and will go as heavy as a -5. These bats are higher performing for a younger player as the performance limitations on the bats are substantially less than a BBCOR. Although some players can substitute a BBCOR bat for a USSSA one, a player would not be able to use USSSA bats in a BBCOR league.
Cameron
I know that composite bats need to be cared for in colder temperatures. We are looking for an alloy option (barrel or entire bat) option for our HS freshman for that reason. With this bat having acomposite handle, would performance be affected in those few cold early season HS games? Kevin
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 would be fine to use in colder temperatures because the barrel is alloy. Since the ball is not hitting the composite, it is okay that it has the composite handle.
Tori
Does this bat have a good sweet spot because I heard it was a little small? Matt
From the reviews that we have received for the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136, the overall performance of the bat has received 5 stars. The C-Core Technology in the bat creates a thinner wall for the bat meaning you will see better performance with this bat compared to others.
Ben
I keep seeing references to this bat being power balanced, which sounds like end-loaded. Is it noticeably top heavy? My son is 6'4" 200 (strong but not a brute). Is there a bat you'd recommend in this price range, which is more neutral to speed balanced? Jeremy
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 will most certainly have more of a slightly end-loaded swing weight design. How noticeable this is, is tough to say as this is more player opinion. If seeking balanced, then the Easton Project 3 FUZE BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19FZ and the Easton Project 3 Alpha BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19AL would be better options to consider.
Cameron
How long will this bat last me? Zach smith
This bat should easily last you a full season/year. If something does happen, you have a 12 month warranty through Easton for a one-time replacement.
Kyle
Is it USA approved? Juanita
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 does not have a USA stamp as this is a BBCOR bat, used by high school and college age players. With that said, in older levels of USA baseball the BBCOR bats can certainly be used (think middle school age groups).
Cameron
Is there a certain temperature this bat shouldn't be used? Sean Ward
With any bat, the warmer the weather the better. With that being said, there are no weather restrictions with regards to the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136.
Cameron
Is the Easton 13.6 anything like the old Easton Ghost X? Justin Dumas
No, the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 is not comparable to the Easton Ghost X. The reason for this is the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 features an alloy barrel/composite handle with more of a slightly end-loaded swing weight whereas the Easton Ghost X was fully composite with a balanced swing weight.
Cameron
What is the difference between the Easton Project 3 Advanced and this bat? Carter
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 features a two-piece construction with an alloy barrel and composite handle with a slightly end-loaded swing weight design. The Easton Project 3 ADV BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19ADV, meanwhile, also features a two-piece design but is fully composite with a more balanced swing weight.
Cameron
I want a heavier swinging hybrid so I was wondering if the end load on this bat is similar to a Louisville Slugger Select or a DeMarini The Goods? Cooper
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 has a power balanced swing weight. It won't be quite as end loaded as The Goods, but will be pretty similar to the Select.
Tori
What base colors are available? Randy
The Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 is only featured in the one colorway as shown.
Cameron
I’m from Canada and got my aunt in US to order it about a month ago and within the first couple swings I noticed there was some loose sounding bits in the barrel. I was wondering, what the warranty is and if I could maybe get a new one? Graham Taylor
The rattling that you are hearing in the Easton Project 3 13.6 Hybrid BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19136 would be the result of some of the resin that is used to seal/plus the end cap coming loose. This will not impact the performance or durability of the bat; typically sounds like pebbles or grains of sand. Easton does offer a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase for a one-time replacement. This is set up directly with Easton by visiting their website and filling out/submitting their online warranty form.
Cameron
