Description

New for this season! The Quatro Pro is the first of its kind for the upcoming season and is ready to make an impact during for its debut. They've pushed the standards of baseball bats to new levels and bat technology to never before seen performance levels that outshine the competition (pun intended). Performance, flex, balance, and ball flight are just a few of the features that the Rawlings Quatro is sure to enhance during each and every at-bat. If you're a contact hitter who can handle a longer barrel, the Quatro is a perfect fit for you. While it does have an extended barrel construction for more plate coverage, a newly designed lightweight end cap reduces unnecessary weight towards the end of the barrel which helps increase overall swing speed and control through the zone. Yet again, Rawlings is peeling back the curtains, so to speak, and displaying the alloy barrel insides through the Tru-View Technology. The best part? Each one of these Rawlings Quatro tee ball bats are made with pride in the USA (patent pending). Rawlings: Above The Standard!

This Rawlings Quatro USA Tee Ball Bat (TB9Q11) features a lightweight drop 11 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter, and the USA Baseball certified stamp. With that certification, this model is approved for play in AABC, Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, Dixie Youth, Little League, and Pony. Shine bright on the diamond and pick up one of these Rawlings t-ball bats today with free shipping and a full one (1) year manufacturer's warranty. Good bat with poor durability. John A. Parent

Pros: My 6 year old hits well with the bat. Lightweight USA bat.

Cons: Dented in less than 1 month. I understood that it was inevitable that this bat would eventually dent because my son was using it for a coach pitch league. I didn’t expect it to happen so quickly. Finding a small enough USA bat for the 6 and under kids in coach pitch is tricky.

Good bat, but don't use on real baseballs Michael Parent

Pros: Big barrel, light, and has pop. My son needs a light bat so we use this in a coach pitch league. Unfortunately, our use has left a dent in the neck of the bat. Not sure if the I or the big brother did it demo'ing to the 7 yo. Pretty sure the little guy didn't do it and I don't blame the bat since we know we used it outside of "tee-ball".

Cons: Too thin to use in higher leagues???

Dents too easy Jay Shimko Coach

Pros: Nice looking bat with some great pop off of it.

Cons: Dents after the first game of machine pitch of 30 mph. It was recommended by your own video to use off a pitching machine.

Maybe just a Mike Coach

Pros: Batter liked the sound and feel of the bat.

Cons: Bat dented with each use - from the very first use to the last. Asking to return under warranty. Maybe just a "lemon" from the factory.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Rawlings Quatro Pro -11 Tee Ball Bat: TB9Q11? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Can this bat withstand hitting pitched balls? Not high speed, just have a smaller 6 year old that has to play 8U coach pitch, in a league that requires these USA bats, and one doesn't exist that he can effectively swing. CGray
The 2019 Rawlings Quatro Pro -11 Tee Ball Bat: TB9Q11 is not intended for pitched balls. This bat can experience durability issues if used against pitched balls. Plus, many leagues do not allow USA bats to be labeled as 'tee ball' in coach or player pitch. The 2019 Rawlings 5150 -11 USA Baseball Bat: US9511 with a stronger alloy material would be a better option for your player.

About the Brand

Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.

The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.

In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.

In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.

The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.

Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
