My son plays rec and Travel A. He uses this bat for travel and a Axe Origin, same length, weight, and drop weight but 2 1/4 barrel. He can perfectly swing an Elite One USA -8 in exact same size but not in an inch longer. We are thinking of purchasing that bat now that it is on sale. His finger tips can now bend to touch the tip of the bat if held to center of chest, arms outstretched sideways. He’s been using a 28 for 1.5 years and has grown tremendously but the 28 was likely too long for him at first. He does not want a longer bat though he is getting close to measuring correctly for it. I think I know what the advantages of the -8 would be to the -10 origin (further hits if contact). But what are the advantages of this bat to the USA Elite One -8 if any? Elaine
