Does the AXE 30 day trial apply to used bats as well as new?
Unfortunately, the 2018 Axe HyperWhip BBCOR Baseball Bat: L138F used option will not feature the 30 day trial. The 14 day trial will apply in the used models.
Are there temperature restrictions on this bat?
For this 2018 Axe HyperWhip BBCOR Baseball Bat (L138F), I would recommend not recommend using the bat at temperatures below 55 degrees. When the temperature sinks below 55 degrees, the ball becomes denser and has the ability to damage the barrel walls of the bat. If a player is participating in a practice that is being held in conditions with a temperature below 55 degrees, we would recommend using an older model bat that will no longer be used for games or even a wooden bat. If a game is being held in conditions below 55 degrees we would recommend taking BP with a non-game model bat (or wooden model) and then only using the 2018 Axe HyperWhip BBCOR Baseball Bat (L138F) in the actual game.
I have a a freshman son who is 5'10" and 185 lbs. He is hitting well with a 32"/29 oz sized bat. At what height and weight would you suggest going to a 33"/30 oz BBCOR bat?
If your player is comfortable making the move to larger bat, he could begin using a 33"/30 oz bat at his current size. However, if he is fine at 32"/29 oz, I would not recommend forcing the change on him. However, if he is interested, you could certainly go with this 2018 Axe HyperWhip BBCOR Baseball Bat (L138F) in the 33"/30 oz size.

Axe baseball bats lead the pack in regard to cutting edge technology and elite level performance. For the 2018 season, the HyperWhip is back and better than ever. With a one-piece, fusion construction, this model gives you the stiff feel of a one-piece bat with the balanced swing weight of a two-piece bat. Three inches of carbon fiber fuse to the tip of the HyperWhip Fusion barrel that is constructed out of the military grade Mantic alloy. This helps eliminate unnecessary weight for better overall balance, bat speed, and barrel size. All the while, the Mantic alloy is providing maximum strength, long lasting durability, and powerful performance at the plate. On the other end of the bat, the patented Axe handle has the shock-absorbing Endogrid technology inside of it to help reduce vibrations to the bottom hand and practically eliminate all sting. Last, but certainly not least, an engineered hitting zone optimizes power through a 270-degree contact area, so you'll never need to rotate your barrel for durability. Axe: Make The Switch!

Axe Handle Scientifically Proven Benefits
Better Bat Control - High-speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The Axe handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The Axe handle is ergonomically designed to fit naturally in the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate bone. The flush backside of the Axe handle relieves this pressure.
