Prime 919 Tj Shay player
Pros: The prime feels amazing no vibration at all
Cons: Unlike the 916-917-918 this bat does not have pop at all i got to hit with it on the field at our local college when they had demo day with the bats, all though it feels amazing it took me everything I had to hit it out.I would recommend the select 719 or the omaha. With those bats balls fly out of the park with ease
STL BEARS Dave C. coach
Pros: Great Pop off the bat. Great Feel and little to no vibration. Bought this bat for my son this fall and he loves it. Other kids have used the bat and loved it so much it has pretty much become the team bat.
Cons: Con for me is always the cost but not much we can do about that.
Meme 919 James Reynolds player
Pros: no sting
Cons: Tbh i would rate this bat a zero star if I could.Literally no pop.it seems personally that the people that like this bat are rich dads or kids that just aren't strong at all. This bat is the beginning of the end if the primes continue like this.If you want the ball to go anywhere and composite either get a 917/916 or the meta prime. And the price for such bad of a tool is ridiculous.)0/5
Trash Jim coach
Pros: N/A
Cons: Everything my players hate this and its just awful what they did to the top bat mainly for kids who cant swing a bigger bat so maybe performs different for them but do not recommend if you want to play competitively
No pop Miami Parent
Pros: Not much here except for vibration reduction.
Cons: This bat has NO POP. My son is a big kid - one of biggest and strongest on team. He can hit. The ball is dead off the bat. Do not spend the money.
Straight up dingers Matt Money Player

Great bat Dylan Player
Pros: Has solid pop, little to no vibration, and is smooth through the zone.
Cons: Price
Great pop! Mamabear Parent
Pros: Great pop, my son hits so much better with this bat than his old one. He loves it!!!
Cons: None
Have to break in! Christian Coach
Pros: Eventually the bat will have POP. Very balanced and durable. I too was initially very upset for spending $450 for a bat that was hyped as the next best thing but had no pop. We had to break it in really good and that took 3 weeks and 1000 hits. After breaking in, the bat is living up to all the hype. Tested exit velocity off this bat and two other Alloy bats and the velocity was better with the Prime.
Cons: Initially was upset and dissapointed. It takes a good 3 weeks and 1000 hits to break in. This bat reminds me of last years Demarini — takes forever to break in and has no sound off the bat so it’s like hitting with a wood bat. Last years 918 had pop out of the wrapper but the 919 doesn’t but will eventually get there. I’m not sure how this bat will hold up in cool weather because the feel out of the wrapper was like hitting with a concreate bat. The bat feels good now after breaking in but I’ve seen bats in the past crack that started out with the same feel as this one so I’m not as confident with the 919 as I would be with others.
L.S. Prime 919 has NO POP Mark Gervais Player
Pros: Looks pretty
Cons: NO pop, especially the later third of the bat. Buy last years Prime 918 if you can find one

This Bat Hits Dingers Billy M. Player
Pros: Great balance, great pop and great feel. Not sure who is leaving all the negative reviews, but they aren't players who have actually used the bat. Probably a competitor trying to dethrone the king.
Cons: Haters gonna hate.
Prime 919 Dave D Coach
Pros: I bought this bat for my son who's playing 13u moving up to 14u this August to use with his travel ball team. The goal was to get him swinging a -3 bat now so he's ready when they move up. The feedback from a 13 year old is the bat is solid, no vibration, and has good pop so far. Has not been used in games yet. More feedback to come but so far, we're very happy. My older son swings the 918 Prime and it's a beast and still going strong.
Cons: None so far but time will tell.
do not buy!!! Dave Disaboto Parent
Pros: good vibration
Cons: NO POP!!! Dead bat!!! Louisville Slugger needs to get rid of this model
JUNK!!!!! James Alexander Player
Pros: very little vibration
Cons: It's like hitting a wet sponge. NO pop, no ball jumping off the bat. Way overpriced for dead bat
Get Pop ForestDad Parent
Pros: I brought the 31 prime for my son who is 12yrs old, but will be 13 soon. I’m a softball player so I made sure I was hitting with my son during bp’s so I would understand what he’s saying and feeling. It took 500+ hits, but the ball rockets off the bat. My son and I love this bat. My son wishes the bat was more balanced, but he hits the ball hard and I make sure he swings the bat daily so he gets used to the weight & the feeling.
Cons: You won’t like this bat if you are not into end loaded bats. Big difference in weight that my son just came out of Majors and Bronco league with USA bats.
Y’all tripping Markus Player
Pros: This bat is sick. I hit on the field yesterday and the pop and feel is unreal. I hit with the Cat 8 the few weeks before and hit nothing out during BP but yesterday I hit 3 out with my fresh out of the wrapper 919. It has so much pop out of the wrapper and the feeling when you square it up is unreal. I even hit one out without hitting the sweet spot. I think this is the best Louisville bat yet and I had the 917.
Cons: 917 went dead very early and I’ve read similar stuff on the 919.
THE NO POP BAT Tommy Baker Player
Pros: looks nice
Cons: NO POP... L.S. better go back to last year's model because the Prime 918 was great and this one stinks
Prime 919 Tylor Wolfe Player
Pros: I am a high school player right now but I am already committed to play baseball in college. This bat takes about 200 swings to get broke in but this bat has a lot of pop. I am hittings balls over the fence like it is nothing. I highly recommend this bat
Cons: none
THIS BAT STINKS!!!!! TONY P Player

Prime 919 No Player
Pros: Great pop and comfortable grip, great feel and balance in bat when swinging. Taking live BP off a kid who was maybe throwing 70 and just going through my mechanics and hit 2 home runs first 2 pitches.. bat is crazy even when i face others who use it
Cons: not a con i can think of

Pros: Insane pop! Great bat.
Cons: None
Excellent quality bat Mike Parent
Pros: Solid contact even on miss hits. Quick bat to square up in the zone. Excellent balanced swing weight
Cons: Like similar reviews (and most bats) this bat takes a few good BP’s in the cages to break in.
Great bat! Gene Parent
Pros: The ball really jumps off the bat right out of the wrapper! I had read some negative reviews about the LS 919 not having much “pop”, but my son has been crushing the ball. He is 6’0”, 180, 17 and uses 33/30.
Cons: None
No pop Chase Player
Pros: No vibration
Cons: No pop at all! You can feel the bat bend at contact.
Great bat Amy Moran Parent
Pros: My son loves how the bat feels. He seems to hit better with it.
Cons: None as of now
Amazing Keeler Vogt Player
Pros: -Giant Barrel so you can still get power on the ball with inside pitches - Tons of pop, i think ive popped the ball up the next sec its over the fence
Cons: -None
Early reviews are wrong Pdiddy Coach
Pros: This bat has ridiculous pop. Take a few hundred swings before reviewing. We have this and the meta on our team and the prime is preferred. Ball jumps as if it’s not a bbcor. Size and bat speed may play a part of you’re finding it to be “popless”. Durability is yet to be determined as we’ve only had it a couple weeks but I had to write a review given all the negative reviews about it not having pop. It’s got amazing pop. And this is coming from a family who only used CF8’s the last several years. We know what pop looks like.
Cons: None at this point
So far so good Tim Parent
Pros: 1- Customer service at Just Bats is fantastic. Had a problem on a used bat, and they made it right without hesitation and we agreed on a fair price in the next bat. The bat itself is great too. Son went 4/8 in first tournament, right after getting the bat.
Cons: None so far..
Great balance and feek David Warren Parent
Pros: Easy to swing Good pop Easy to control
Cons: None so far
Prime 919 Shvant Gaitonde Player
Pros: Slight endloaded feel compared to other composite bats. It gets through the zone pretty fast and trust me, there is pop. If you have properly broken in this bat you will not have any problem with this bat. Always keep it in a warm place and you should be good
Cons: Obviously it takes time to break in a composite bat, but other than that it is great
n Carson Player
Pros: good feel, no vibration
Cons: listed as a balanced bat, but feels much more endloaded, takes a while to break in and the pop doesn't compare to older versions of this model
Great bat ! Liz Parent
Pros: Lightweight bat and quality is great. My son love it.Great pop!
Cons: Takes a little time to break in but is worth it !!!
amazing Alex Player
Pros: pop, vibrations, balanced
Cons: a lot of the reviews on the lack of pop are incorrect it just takes a while to break it in
Very Good Bat Daniel Player
Pros: Very balanced and durable bat. Good pop. Absolutely no vibration at all. Your getting what you pay for.
Cons: You can find better pop in other bats but the pop in this bat is still very good for this price.
Prime 919 Jack Parent
Pros: Tons of pop and no vibration at all.
Cons: Not hot out of the wrapper. You need to hit with it for a while to get it to be fully broken in.
Blam!! Jeff Blackmon Parent
Pros: Good feel in your hands Solid sounding Delivers excellent performance off the bat Going to put holes through people’s chests Helps the hitter hit a bomb ERRY TYNE!!
Cons: It is white and who can keep white clean on a baseball field!!
This bat is amazing Deryk Player
Pros: The pop you get straight away is amazing and the grip you get straight away I recommend keep it on because the feeling is amazing
Cons: If the other team has it
Very a solid bat Cletus Johnson Player
Pros: Good not great performance on miss hits, sounds great, the pop is good for a 2 piece composite
Cons: Not good pop or vibration off the end of the bat, I would get the the select or solo if you having a problem or price
Great Bat George H Parent
Pros: I Bought this for my son who is playing high school baseball, He Loves it The fit is perfect the pop is amazing he is hitting hard balls all over the field, I will stick with Louisville bats from now on, Worth Every Penny
Cons: None
Prime 919 review Ethan Gronwold Player
Pros: literally everything if you do a good job breaking these things in these are the best bats out there I have used three different primes just like this and they all are amazing. they hit boms with sooooo much pop. but like i said before you have to break them in right.
Cons: nothing
my experience Daniel Crocker Player
Pros: amazing bat, feels amazing hardly ever rings you up the pop is decent and the durability is good seeing as i’ve had mine for 2 years and is has no signs of damage, i really do not understand the bad reviews i love this bat. a lot of reviews say this thing has no pop and i disagree sure it doesn’t have the best pop but it has similar pop to the meta. it has about the pop you’d expect from a standard contact hitting bat, big sweet spot not too endloaded this is a contact hitters dream
Cons: none love this thing, if you are looking for a bat with more pop go with a more endloaded 2 price hybrid or 1 piece alloy
Prime 919 Landon Kornoff Player
Pros: Hot out of the bat no vibration on inside pitches or if you get jammed durable great pop
Cons: $$$$ not the best of sounds(personal preference)
Hot bat! GK Parent
Pros: Great swing weight and barrel size
Cons: None yet
GREAT BAT, hidden pop after break in ER7 Player
Pros: I committed to msu this season and this bat is solid I swung it as a sophmore and Im not a power hitter but this bat feels great.
Cons: price, and takes a while to break in.
Prime 919 Lucas Schammel Player
Pros: Good feel, slight very slight end load, no vibration, and good pop once its broken in. Very good contact hitters bat, but also has some end load and can be a pretty powerful bat and have some pop when broken in. I have not had any problems through 1 year with durability, it is still in really good shape and I plan to keep using it.
Cons: Takes some swings to break it in, don't let the reviews fool you, it has good pop, its a composite bat, so you have to take a few hundred cuts to break it in fully. The bat will not be hot right out of the wrapper like some people think it will, so don't judge it off the first 100 swings.
Prime 919 anonymous Player
Pros: Does not vibrate at all, is not too heavy, overall solid bat.
Cons: Pop could use some work
Prime Grant Player
Pros: It has a great pop after it’s been broken in it feels so clean when you hit the sweet spot with the right swing. I can drive a ball with it with ease.
Cons: It vibrates a little bit if you hit it down the barrel and at the end but it’s not that bad

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
